They don't know what she is capable of.

"I know her," a woman, who is one of the executives, suddenly whispered to Mr.Brown.

Anna who has just followed Kyle intp the meeting room took a glance at the source of the voice and for a second, she was surprised.

This word is indeed small.

This woman was her classmate in business school. The same business school from which she got herself expelled intentionally.

"You do?" Mr. Brown asked his daughter who just spoke. Just like him, she is a sly fox and a greedy leach.

"Yes, fath-, Director" the girl answered.

She was about to call him father but restrained herself as this is the conference room.

"She was my classmate from business school. You remember the girl who failed all the exams and even got expelled?" she asked, loud enough for all the other directors to hear.

"What? The girl who tried to make a scene by putting up a fight with you and Frank is Ms. Anna Lopez here?" Mr. Brown asked, smirking. He concealed his delight and mockery very well but Anna easily read his thoughts.

Mr. Robert Brown got a chance to deride Kyle for choosing such a loser as his secretary. So, he is not gonna let this chance slip and Anna knows that very well.

Only if Mr. Brown and his daughter, Shirley Bown here have known the real identity of Anna and who she really is and what she is capable of, they wouldn't have dared to ridicule her. They wouldn't have even dared to look into her eyes but alas! They don't know anything about her except for her embarrassing past.

"Yes father. Ms. Anna here is the only one who got expelled due to disciplinary actions." Shirley answered.

Meanwhile, Aiden is surprised as well.

He knows that Anna got expelled from B school. She has intentionally violated the rules to get expelled. She told him once that she didn't want to study business management but her family forced her into it.

So, she had no other option but to get herself expelled. It has strained her relationship with her family and that was the reason he never asked her anything related to her family.

"Mr. Danvers, you should choose your secretary wisely. How will a university dropout manage the responsibilities of being the secretary of the CEO of a multinational company?" Mr. Brown asked, mocking Kyle for his foolish choices.

Kyle frowned and he narrowed his eyes at his uncle. He can tolerate anything but if someone disparages his sister, he can't bear it.

Yes, it's true that her sister got expelled from that school but later she finished her bachelors, masters and phd from even better, no- the best universities in the world.

"Mr. Brown, I appreciate your concern but I believe in a person's intellect over a piece of paper" Kyle said, his voice laced with authority and warning.

"But Anna got expelled," Shirley retaliated. She didn't like Anna's presence here.

Her husband Frank Clint was Anna's boyfriend before she snatched him away from her. Although he is married and loves her deeply, Anna was his girlfriend for years before that.

They have known each other from their teenage years and their bond used to be pretty strong and it would have continued to last if she didn't seduce him with her charms and money.

So, the most important reason he left Anna is because she couldn't help him achieve his dream of becoming rich. But she suspects that her husband still has feelings for his first love, Anna.

"ENOUGH!" This time it was Aiden who shouted.

He could keep his anger in check under many circumstances but not when someone is speaking ill of his Anna. Though he doesn't know why he could see that Shirley Brown hates Anna to her heart.

Meanwhile, Shirley who was speaking audiciously till now, instinctively swallowed her words. Everyone feared Aiden and she is no exception.

The whole room turned pin drop silent and no one even dared to breathe.

This is the impact Aiden has on others. He is formidable..

"I don't have time for your twaddle, Mr. Brown. We are here for a serious talk and, besides this, it is Mr. Danvers' business to decide who should be his secretary and who shouldn't" Aiden warned.

Anna maintained her calm and remained collected. Seeing Shirley here bought up some annoying and irritating memories of her past.

She doesn't know if Shirley and Frank, her other ex, are still in a relationship but if they are, it means her both the ex boyfriends have resurfaced in her life. Frank was her high school, teenage love and Aiden is the person she met a few months after her break up with Frank.

Her relationship with both of them left her hurt and heart broken. She never thought even in her dreams that she would be meeting both the exes at the same time under these disadvantageous circumstances.

"That's right. I hope everyone can stop judging me and my people around me. Let's start with the meeting" Kyle added, opening the iPad that is on the table.

Everyone nodded their heads and followed his lead.

After an hour, when the meeting was almost coming to an end, Aiden's secretary knocked the door and hurried inside.

He whispered something to Aiden and after getting Aiden's affirmation, he left the conference room.

Aiden hates it when someone interrupts the meeting. So, something serious might have happened otherwise, his assistant wouldn't have disturbed them in the middle of the meeting.
