Movie night

Ignoring the childish grown-up's who are busy glaring at each other, she went on with helping Aiden walk.

"You know that I couldn't walk now because of you, right?" Aiden whispered to her.

Anna continued to ignore him and looked straight ahead, feigning her anger.

"You have actually become a little chubby. I couldn't carry you with ease and when compared to now, you are very light back in those days" he whispered to Anna again.

"That's because your arm is injured," Anna muttered. Which girl can be calm if a man she loves calls her chubby?

Aiden chuckled. She is still sensitive when it comes to her weight. Some things about her haven't changed a bit.

Anna sighed. He still enjoys teasing her!!

Aiden doesn't know why but his anger and hatred for her decreased a bit after today's incident. As he saw her love for him which strengthened his belief, he didn't blame everything on her. If his guess is right, she is a victim as well. The main victim of all.

"Mr. Keller, could you please help me with Mr. Danvers here? He is bulky and I couldn't handle his weight" Anna said still not over his comment on her weight,

"Hey-" Aiden was about to say something but Anna removed his hand from her shoulders and started to walk away.

Allen laughed inside.

'Seems like this ex is not aware of how sensitive Anna is, when it comes to her weight' he thought.

Aiden spoke in a low voice however, Allen's hearing capacity exceeds the excellence of human's average hearing capacity.

"I can walk myself, Mr. Keller," Aiden said, avoiding Allen from helping him.

"Sure," Allen said. 'As if I want to help you..hmph!' he thought inside.

"You could walk well. Why have you taken help from Ms. Anna, then?" Allen asked when he saw Aiden walking fine.

"Any problem with that? She was the one who offered help and I just took it" Aiden answered with a smile.

"Sis!" Kyle rushed towards Anna who just returned.

"Thank God! You are fine. It's been almost one hour since you went out!!" Ria exclaimed as she sighed in relief. She couldn't help but hug Anna tightly and after feeling relieved that Anna is fine, she held her friend at arm's distance and checked for physical injuries.

"I am fine, Ria. Don't worry." Anna said, smiling at her friend.

"Yes. Thank God for that but you are wet! You might catch a cold" Ria added when she saw Anna's dampened hair and wet clothes.

"I will order some herbal tea for sis," Kyle said, and called for the server.

"Order three," Anna told Kyle.

"Ms. Lopez, you are wearing my brother's jacket. Was he with you?" Felix, who was silent till now, asked.

Even his brother went out an hour ago.

"We just happened to meet unexpectedly. He offered his jacket as my clothes are wet" Anna answered him.

"Why is he still outside! He shouldn't wet his casting" Felix muttered to himself.

"If he gave his jacket to Ms. Lopez, I bet he would have already dampened his casting!" he added and stood up to look for his brother.

When Anna heard that, it was only when she remembered that Aiden had a casting on his arm.

She was so occupied with her thoughts that she failed to notice this.

Cursing herself, she pursed her lips.

'He has an injured arm yet, he gave me his jacket, not caring about himself. Even with a sprained ankle, he carried me.' she thought, guilt taking over her again.

'He is still the same. It's becoming more and more tough to restrain myself' she worriedly thought. He says he hates her but his caring nature for her is the same. How can she not be moved by that man??

"I am gonna look for my brother" Felix announced and he was about to go out but Anna stopped him.

"Mr. Fletcher and Mr. Keller will be here any second," she said.

After Aiden and Allen returned to the private room they drank hot tea and towel dried their hair before returning to their respective houses which are by 'coincidence' in the same building.

Anna went to Ria's house downstairs for a movie night.

As it's been years since she spent some quality time with Ria and Kyle, she didn't want to miss the opportunity of bonding with them. Sooner or later, she must return to her work and she is adamant to carry as many memories as she can.

Meanwhile, Felix followed Aiden to his house so that he could inspect his injuries and change the casting.

"Bro, what happened?" Felix asked when he noticed the swelling on Aiden's ankle. Day before yesterday he had mild swelling but it was not this much. Now, it's red and heavily swollen.

"I tripped." Aiden lied.

Back in the hotel when Anna went out to take the call, he followed her out but maintained some distance so that she wouldn't think that he was following her to eavesdrop on her. He was waiting for her to end the call so he could speak with her.

It was when it started to rain and Anna started to act weird. He thought that she was merely afraid of rain and thunder when he saw her curled up on the ground like an injured puppy, he hurried to help her.

He ignored the pain in his ankle and carried her to the patio. At that time, he had to put all his weight on his leg and it aggravated his condition.

"Bro, your ankle is swollen. I bet it's hurting a lot" Felix said, concern apparent in his eyes.

"Yeah, it is. I have been tolerating it for almost an hour" Aiden said, groaning a little when Felix gently moved his leg.

Felix pursed his lips, sad for his brother.

"Wait here! I have that miracle ointment with me" Felix said.

"I think you might know it, brother. They use this special gel in the military especially during important missions" he added.

It could not be accessed easily as it's a very rare medicine. Only higher officials from the military have access to it, including a few doctor's.

"You have it here?" Aiden asked.

"I might" Felix answered before rushing to his house.

"Hey, Ria. I-" Felix was about to task her something but Ria interrupted him immediately.
