The tone in the room abruptly shifted after that. Yuan sat properly on his bed and rested his chin on both of his hands, just like a president starting a meeting with his executives.

"Now, let's start talking seriously."

Levia, a little bit confused as she sits on her knees once again. Yuan looked her in the eyes and said,

"....I can see you." Yuan looked at Levia with a serious face.

She then answered innocently as she nodded slowly one time, "I can see that." with a puzzled look on her face.

"You don't understand." He closed his eyes and shook his head sideways in a slow manner.

"I can see you, and that's weird, right?" he emphasized some words to make it easier for her to get what he is saying.

Maybe she forgot because they were interacting 'normally' that in reality what they were doing was the polar opposite of "normal." for example, what you think is normal in Alabama will be considered abnormal or weird in any other state.

"You can see me and that's—" Levia gasped as she remembered that in the human world, no humans could see devils like her. Levia jumps from shock.

"Y- YOU CAN—" Yuan puts his finger on his lips and says, "Shhh," telling Levia to keep quiet. Levia immediately shuts her mouth and sits down once more slowly.

Talking about it is fine and all, but they are not the only ones living in the house; there are two more devils around, and for as long as Yuan can remember, hiding his abilities is one of his top priorities.

"but how?, wait. you're like a shaman!" Levia looked at him as if he is some kind of a super hero.

"I don't know either, but I've been able to do this since I was a child… and shaman?"

Levia's eyes sparkle as she wags her tail back and fort like a dog. "Yes! Shaman! I love shamans!" She excitedly says.

"please stop calling me that. and I don't think that's th—" He noticed the clock in his room [11:33 pm] as he looked back at Levia. At this time, his parents are already asleep, which means that the devils besides them are free to roam. Yuan thought that this was becoming a risky situation.

"It's late; let's continue tomorrow," Without any more words, Yuan turned off the light in his room, lay on his bed, and put on his blanket. He looks again at the devil girl, who keeps staring at him.

"What are you going to do?"

Levia tilted her head a little as she said, "Don't worry about me; devils don't really need to sleep here in the human world, so I will just sit here and watch."

Yuan looked at the girl suspiciously while saying, "That's a crime, you know."

"Hehe in human law, right?" She tapped her chest a little, saying, "I'm a devil."

So you're saying that it's ok to stalk someone in hell or something? Uwa devils are indeed... devils.

Next morning

The young man's black hair waved with a sudden movement on his face as he lay down on his bed. His eyes open slowly as he reluctantly gets up, and the first thing he did was look for the girl who was with him last night.

He stared at the empty spot where the devil girl was supposed to be, He remembered how lively and full of life the girl was; he thought she was completely different from all the devils he had encountered, and it made him wonder if everything that had happened the night before had been a dream.

"Nah," he says, forcing a smile as he finds what he's looking for. Instead of sitting in front of the bed, there's a devil laying down next to him, her face is so serene, as if she hasn't slept for a long time.

Yuan gives a little grin while muttering, "Don't really need sleep, huh?"

"...."

He tries to pinch Levias' cheek as he feel somewhat annoyed at the girl's expression, but his hand just went through her face.

"uwa this looks creepy..." his hands is in the brain part of her head yet he doesn't feel a thing.

Levia giggles as she sleeps like a baby with a somewhat goofy look, and saliva flows down in the side of her mouth continuously like a river.

"... I wonder how she can lay down on the bed when my hand just goes through her."

He decided to let the devil girl continue her sleep as he began his day, He gets up from the bed and walked straight to the bathroom.

"I'm leaving" Yuan closed the door. He adjusted his bag as he opened the main gate and when he was about to close it. Levia shouts, "Hey, wait for me!"

Her head pops out from the wall with a pouty expression where his bedroom is located, she takes a step back from the inside and immediately leaps through the side wall, flipping and landing gracefully with her hands on the air.

"tadda!"

With a playful grin "hehe", she closed her eyes while she waited for Yuan to praise her, but all she saw was his back as he started walking towards the school.

She pouts and runs towards him. She looks at him sideways and says, "So where are we going, Yuan?" "Are you going to start helping me now?"

Yuan sighs as he takes his phone from his bag and puts it to his ear, pretending that someone is calling him.

"hello?" He scratches his head as he mutters, "Umm.."

"Um...Ms., someone who said they didn't need sleep but fell asleep on someone else's bed with a goofy look on their face, could you please lower your voice?"

Levia went "guh!" as she blushed really hard.

Yuan smirked at Levias' reaction as he resumed speaking, "I'm going to school right now."

Levia is about to ask a follow up question, but Yuan reads her like a book as she shows her emotions on her face, saying, "It's a place where humans study."

Levia has a "how did you read my mind" look on her face, and when she noticed the object [phone] in his hand, she opened her mouth, but before she could talk, Yuan cut her off once again.

"What's on my hand is what they call a phone; it's a device we humans use to communicate wirelessly with someone in other places." "I'm using it right now to pretend that I'm talking with someone." He moves his head left and right, saying, "Look around you."

Levia, with respect in her eyes, calls him, "shaman." excitedly.

"Listen!" Levia is brought back to reality.

getting overwhelmed by the new information that keeps coming. Levia still did what Yuan said and started to look around. She saw a lot of people, particularly other people wearing the same outfit as Yuan, but she knew that's not what Yuan was talking about. As she keeps on looking, she notices the floating devils following some of the few people on the street. She lowers her eyes as she immediately understands what Yuan is trying to do.

Instead of saying a word, she just nods at Yuan over and over.

"It's fine if you talk, but not too loudly, because from their point of view, we are just the devil and her target walking side by side. As long as they don't hear our conversation, there's nothing to worry about." He turns left at the intersection as they both keep walking.

"Now let's pick up where we left off last night."

"OK—ah!... o—ok," she says, covering her mouth with her hand and smiling awkwardly.
