Fateful Encounter Part 2

"See you tomorrow," Rikko waves his hands as he looks away and starts walking faster in a different direction while he still terrified from what happened earlier.

"See you tomorrow," Yuan remarks before taking out a book from his bag and beginning to read it as he moves along.

"Hey, hey, wazzap. You're Yuan, right? I know it's you! it says so on the picture."

Levia talks as she walks beside Yuan circling him around, but Yuan just keeps on reading as he walk ignoring every noise around him. They are like an owner and a very excited dog having a walk.

"Hey, I know you can hear me! You just talked to me not so long ago! Please respond!"

Levia starts having worries that he might really not hear her based on how he is behaving, but she still keeps on trying. She thought that she finally found someone that she could communicate with, feeling hopeful, but because that hope start to crumbles in front of her face, she slips some sadness into her voice.

"Hey, can you hear me?" I've been alone for days... I tried my best." She looks at him with wavering eyes as her hands tremble slightly..

Yuan comes to a halt as he sigh annoyingly, Levias' face lights up again, but instead of speaking, Yuan takes his earphones from his bag and puts them in his ear, then resumes walking as he continues reading his book.

This did not make Levia sad. Her face, which is so close to breaking, opens her mouth slightly as it transforms into a smile, she became lively once again, Even if he did not speak to her, he still display a proof that he can hear and see her, which is a good thing for Levia.

"I'll make sure you will notice me!" She laughs as she begins to follow Yuan EVERYWHERE.

Three days had passed since their fateful encounter, and Yuan is at his limit. His eyes are just like a dead fish staring into the distance saying "uhhh" while there's a devil girl dancing around him as she keeps saying the word "hey, hey, hey" and sometimes singing gibberish words like "Nants ingonyama bagithi baba" over and over.

A person who lives in darkness and isolation hates noise the most. If you put an introvert inside a lively party, he surely will die. and what's happening to Yuan right now is not far from real torture.

Yuan stops walking as he massages his forehead with his right hand, saying, "Ugh." "Can you please shut up?"

The devil girl's eyes sparkle not because of his harsh words but because, for the first time since they met, he finally talks to her again.

Levia went "hehe" as she slightly giggled and jumped in front of him, causing her long black hair to dance in the air. "I'm just here for one thing!" *steps steps* She moved backwards while keeping eye contact and made a cute pose as she put one hand on her hips and pointed the other hand at Yuan.

Yuan gathered his composure back because of that ridiculous pose and asked her a question.

"Let me guess, you're here to whisper fucked up things to me like every other devil and will try to destroy my life?"

"that's right, I'm here to teach you how to do prank—, sorry what?"

Both of them went "eh" at the same time, as if it were the most unexpected thing ever.

At Yuans room.

"....."

"So let me get this straight, you're a soul guide, whatever that is, and you're here to evaluate my soul?"

Yuan is observing the girl sitting on her knees on the ground like a young child receiving instruction while he is seated on his bed.

"hehe" Levia while looking down giggles as if she's been waiting for that question for a long time. She points her finger upwards as if she is trying to teach someone.

She then puts her checkered hand on her chin as she looks sideways, and then she continues.

Levia stands and puts both hands on her waist, saying "Yes." as proudly as she can.

*pffft--* "HAHAHAHHA" Yuan bursts out laughing as he lays down on his bed with tears in his eyes. He never thought that he would laugh this hard again ever since that time when he was a kid and he and Rikko first met. It's like when he found a new toy. He wipes the tears from his eyes and exhales. He sits back down on his bed and looks at the young devil, smiling cheerfully for the first time.

"you. You're an interesting one," he says on a lighter note, but Levia takes it as a compliment and blushes slightly.

She looked at the young man smiling cheerfully in front of her, she got mesmerized by the view because she always thought that this man was incapable of smiling based on the time that they were together.

"So?" he asked, startled by the young man's sudden remark.

"What's your name?" She pauses a little, then giggles, showing how happy she is because of that question. She feels like for the first time, he started seeing her for real and at last, she is not alone anymore.

"My name is Levia Mclancle! You can call me Levia."

"I see."

Levia smiled and paused for a while as she waited for him to continue speaking, but no words came out after that, so she went, "Eh?" Is that it?" Yuan nods.

"...This feels so..... empty."
