Devil's Little Guardian

"So, are you ready to obey my orders?" His deep ocean voice fanned against her slightly twitched earlobe. "Y-yes, master." "Break a rule, you will be facing the same punishment as that douche." He smirked pointing at the cell which was completely dark and covered with magical dusts. Kristen choked out hearing the painful cries from the cell. That man had been suffering the same pain since the past two hundred years. He will suffer until some one replaces her master, the Devil himself.

NO MORALE

Now that Kristen knows where he resides, she just needed to find a reason to approach him without any suspicion. She was sitting by the park, reading a book that Cristian gave her about hell and other worlds written by human imagination. Kristen first protested to go through that book because what can humans possibly know about hell than her? Come on, she is the most powerful angel so she knows better than them but it blew into thin air as she started reading the book.

The book was basically in favor of Lucifer which made her frown. How can humans write stuff like that? Are they encouraging a demon like this? Is he paying them to do all this? It can be possible because he is on earth anyways and meeting people would be his job. It would be beneficial for him if he gets people on his side. The heaven and angels care about their creation a lot, especially human beings who matter a lot for the balance of the universe. So that can be his way to get on them, right?

"Is he planning to make them all sin?" How vicious?

She was reading the book even if it was of no use, out of curiosity hoping to find a loophole to trap him and that is when she found it. There was a wonderful piece of writing which mentions his weakness... woman. She frowned at it but then soon it turned to a smirk. If that is his weakness, she needs to use it even though it is stooping too low for her liking. Three months is all she got; she had better finish the mission rather than be stuck with him for eternity.

"I have got this." She mumbled, closing the book.

"Where is this now?" She asked herself, opening her eyes to meet with a couple of flashlights.

The music was too loud and disgusting, and too many people crowded and making a mess in the background. She scrunched her nose as a strong smell flushed into her system, the weird smell of alcohol as if they were flooding it. She expected to be in a better place this time but nothing related to Lucifer can be easy. How annoying is he? She gritted her teeth trying to find the man but the smell of alcohol was blocking all of her energy. She somehow managed to push the drunken people away and marched to the bar which was a little higher than the floor she was in.

"What do you want, miss?" A man asked as soon as she made it to the counter.

"Something like a man with two horns and a tail?" She asked, her eyes wandering around.

"Oh... this is not a costume party." The man politely replied not realizing the sarcasm in her words.

"Can I just get a single chance to believe my uncle is not this bad?" She rubbed her temples and pinched her nose bridge.

"Miss, are you looking for someone?" A voice echoed from behind her.

She gritted her teeth, trying to calm herself hoping for once Earth wouldn't disappoint her. Kristen let out a small sigh and turned back to meet the only person, she never wanted to encounter. She glared at him and moved back in the chair a little to which he also reacted the same. But he had a kind of sly smirk on his lips which were curved up as if he found prey or something.

"Oh hey, pretty lady!" He exclaimed, extending his hands to greet her.

"Are you following me, Sir?" Kristen asked back, totally ignoring his hands.

"Wish I was but unfortunately, I didn't think of it. You came to me by yourself."

He was basically fisting his left hand behind him, trying to calm himself from throwing a punch or two. She dared to tear off his shirt and is still holding onto the torn fabric, now questioning him lamely. He could see right through her eyes which were throwing the same pit of fire without any reason. Wow! The audacity.

"What do you want now?"

"Well, I should be asking you that because you are the one who came to my place." He smirked, pulling a chair and sitting next to her.

"I thought this was a public space. I will just get going if I have to answer you for staying." She spat back, totally frustrated.

"Fierce, I see." He mumbled, noticing a girl approaching them.

"Hey, I just got off work. Sorry for being late." She chimed before getting on his lap like it was nothing.

"I missed you." He cooed while hastily pasting a peck on her cheeks.

Kristen groaned as she changed her focus on the dance floor, trying to find the person whom she was looking for. It was an impossible task and it was giving her a headache... like she can't even find him then how is she gonna start with the mission? She grabbed the drink which was ordered and took a small sip, trying to find a better plan but it had to be distracted by the couple next to her.

They were kissing and eating each other's face, right next to her... the sound of wet smooches giving her goosebumps even in between the loud music. Can't they get a room? She thought to herself while pushing the drink further down her throat as if she was asked to do so for someone's sake. Once she was done with the drink, the couple decided to pull away, maybe they realized the importance of oxygen. The girl who was sitting on his lap whispered something and left the place.

"One more." The man asked the bartender for a drink.

"Can't you just get a room?" She asked not being able to handle the ignorance.

"First time here?"

"Yes."

"Can see that. Miss, this is my place to start with, and to conclude, people can do whatever they want unless it hurts someone else." He scoffed.

"There is nothing like morale? I was just sitting next to you and she almost fell to my lap." Kristen complained.

"Want to reverse the situation to take revenge, miss? I am ready to help." There goes again, his annoying smirk.
