chapter 37: Catalina Monroe

"so does that body have a soul?" Timothy asked Sebrina as they had just arrived outside of the forest where his base is located. she nodded without replying

"Which means you are forcefully possessing it? But why ?" He asked not expecting Sebrina to answer

" I can't explain it clearly yet but you are Stephen , or you were ? I can't actually understand it yet . As for me I was not even supposed to be here but because we are bound together I can also enter this place but i I have to forcefully posses a body once I get here and to my luck i found this woman who is of a high standing in the republic and I began possessing her ever since but the more I possess her it's like I'm slowly replacing her. There is a lot of mystery surrounding you , your soul is very ancient I can feel it" Sebrina answered

"Are you telling me you have been possessing this woman for a long time? How long?"

"Ever since the first time you were brought here" Timothy couldn't believe it

"So how did you know about me being Stephen? " Timothy asked and Sebrina kept quiet for a while before answering"you have to learn to lock me out of your thoughts " Timothy understood what she was trying to say

"We are here" Timothy was standing infront of the swamp near the base

"Can you help me open up?" Sebrina wanted to refuse but then she went to the bushes and found the lever then

"Hiss-creak-clank" the door opened and they went inside with Timothy carrying moraine in his arms , the lights were on indicating that someone else was inside but Timothy knew it was June , and sitted on the chair near the analog computer June was staring at the staircase and when she saw Timothy and the girl in his arms she rushed forwad to help but then she spotted the woman behind him and she drew her weapon

"Catalina Monroe , how did you track him down" June spoke

"June stop she's with me , she's the one that helped me escape with Moraine" Timothy looked at her with pleading eys

"What if she did that to gain your trust huh?what if this is part of their plan "June didn't back down

"It's not trust me , now put that down and help me with her ." June had no choice but to trust him and she helped him take her to the bed and laid her down .

"I will kill them all for what they did to her "June cried as she cleaned up Moraine, her skin was full of bruise and she smelled bad .Timothy felt anger but he wasn't sure whether it was for what they did to the girl Infront of him or what.

"Thank you for your help June"Timothy spoke

"Thank you for saving her"June said as she sobbed

Sebrina was sitted Infront of the analog computer her face showed no visible expression , one couldn't even begin to guess what was on her mind

"Are you okay?" Timothy asked looking at her

"Yes"

"So do you think cirdec saw you saving us!?"

"Probably" she answered

Timothy understood what that meant ,she could no longer go back to the republic

"Tomorrow I'll head back" Timothy was shocked

"You'll get yourself killed seb- ..Catalina" Timothy almost revealed her real name but luckily he caught himself , Sebrina looked at him and smiled lightly

"Maybe ...I won't know until I try "

"Stop this Catalina , this is not a game"

"What if it is?" She responded with a smile

Timothy shook his head in frustration and looked away , June who was already watching them walked towards Timothy and placed her head on his shoulders while looking at Sebrina straight in the eye

"Your girlfriend is funny"Sebrina spoke in his mind

"She is not my girlfriend , she is Stephen's wife"

"Meaning she's your wife"Sebrina responded

Timothy just kept quiet watching the two ladies stare each other down

"So what do we do now since we got moraine back?" June asked

."we find a way to get stronger ,fast" Timothy responded

"We will talk about that tomorrow for now let's get some sleep , umh June is it ? Can I please get a place to rest my tired little body" Sebrina spoke

June rolled her eyes "follow me"

Sebrina followed June to a room with a bunk bed and study table

"Here you go" June turned around and left , Sebrina closed the door and and took of her clothes before laying down on the bed

Timothy went to where moraine was sleeping and he could see the girl tossing and turning

"She's traumatized " June entered the room

Timothy didn't respond , right then he felt a pain he has never felt before , clutching his chest in pain he fell down unconscious.....

Timothy woke up screaming as his soul was in pain , all of his teammates ran to his room except Dan who went to the palace to get help

"What the hell is happening?" Jake had never seen anything like this before , Timothy's body was hot and black veins covered his face as he began foaming

He immediately took off the linen shirt Timothy was wearing and they saw red claw marks all over his body

Dan came in with Finn , Elaine , Ver , the two princesses and an old lady

"What happened here?!" Finn asked after taking a look at Timothy

"We don't know we heard him scream and we ran here only to find him like this "komoni quickly explained

The old lady Finn came with examined Timothy's body

"My Lord this is a result of a soul attack"

"But from where elder toru ?"

"I don't know I've never seen anything like this before" the old lady continued examining Timothy

"Can you help him?"

"I'm not too sure " the old lady shook her head

"What's that? " They all looked at Timothy's sword that was beside him , The chains on his sword guard moved to his arm then they made their way to the rest of his body wrapping him up , a purple light emitted from the chains .

"What's happening?" Ver asked in worry but no one responded as they all were focused on the scene Infront of them

The light dimmed and the chains retracted revealing a sleeping Timothy , the black veins were gone and he had stopped foaming .

"I really need that sword " Dan looked stupified , elder turo examined his body one last time and she too was shocked

"He's soul is still damaged but his fine now , just where did he get this sword from?"

"The sword didn't have chains when I met him but after his fight with the burnt man it had changed" komoni explained

"I see" elder turo didn't add anything else

"Let's let him rest he will need enough rest in order to mend his damaged soul" Finn headed out and the others followed behind him .

"You could have died " Sebrina appeared in her little girl form hovering above him

"Little phantom take care of him for I will be busy" with that Sebrina was gone
