chapter 36: Cirdec

Timothy came out of a tear near the esteemed republic the place he was in was a rocky mountain and from there Timothy could see the magnificent headquarters and large building had a different type of elegance to it , he could feel that his aether reserves were low so he hid himself in a cave and started meditaing after about an hour of meditation Timothy heard engines roaring and the sounds of airships passing by

"June's part is finished , it's all up to me now " he spoke standing up as his aether reserves were on 80 percent it was not the full capacity but he had to start acting now he waited for all of the Republic's forces to heard out before coming out of the cave and running towards the Republic with great speed .

" The alarms can be disrupted by aether." Timothy thought as he released his aether as he jumped over the wall , Timothy spoted a few guards patroling and there were also a few guards at the watch tower , Timothy sneaked to the watchtower and climbed up luckily for him the two guards inside had were busy with satisfying their bodies needs and they forgot rhey were on duty as the two man were busy with satisfying each other Timothy entered when they noticed him Timothy had already slit their throats and they died with their pants down , timothy jumped down the watchtower and landed without making a sound and he started taking out the guards one by one as he made his way to the huge building with a giant clock on all sides of the building .

" I hope you are inside "Timothy spoke as he went inside

"Stop where you are and state your business" four men in military jackets approached him with their Ray guns pointed at him , Timothy removed the hoodie on his coat and the had surprised expressions on their face s before they started laughing " you fool you have brought yourself right to us , what do you think you will make it out of here alive ? Sound the alarm and lock down the whole building !" One of the guards yelled and the alarm rang

"Hiss~clank "

Gears could be heard moving as the whole building closed down

"Stephen Bellanour !!!" A man wearing a lab coat and had thick glasses on with a bald head and around face his eyes were black , this man was the current head of the Republic's science department Cirdec senour . This man has been wanting to get his hands on his body for a very long time

"Have you finally given up ? Did you see that resisting the inevitable is futile? Don't worry I'll be in charge of dissecting your body and conducting research on it so you should be honored to say the least" cirdec revealed an ugly smile

"I'm here for my little sister, if you can get her for me then I'll be on my way" Timothy looked at cirdec

"Men don't damage him too much" cirdec commanded

"Reverse steps"Timothy moved before the guards could even react as he used reverse steps for the second time , reverse steps is a high tier aether spell that uses the planet's gravity for a person to escape their predicament by making their body light as a feather and shooting them into the air instantly coupled with Timothy's quick reaction the spell defied the laws of nature, Timothy was floating above them and watched as the men attacking were to slow to realize that they were about to attack air

"Gravity falls" Timothy fell to the ground as the gravity increased and most of the men fell face first to the ground with the gravity crushing down on them but only a few people managed to keep their cool as the covered their bodies with aether , Timothy was prepared for this so he had already covered his body with an aether membrane and when he landed on the ground he took out his rotating blade sword and stabbed all of the men that were struggling against gravity soonenough the whole place smelled of blood as Timothy released the spell

"What a nice show really but the Stephen I know wouldn't have used such petty tricks to deal with low class soldiers that can hardly use aether , something tells me that you have grown weak "cirdec licked his lips

"Is that so ? why don't you come and see for yourself whether I've grown weak or not" Timothy raised his sword

"Mmmh , intriguing but I'll pass . You three go" cirdec signaled at the three men who manage to survive the crushing , the men moved with great speed towards him as they drew out the swords , they surrounded him from three different sides , their faces had little beads of sweat rolling down their breathing was quite steady and they were all using the same stance , standing with one foot Infront as they bend their knees a little bit

"Cage of fire" the men raised their swords and slashed towards Timothy but it seems like the attack wasn't meant to hit him but cage him , as a triangle cage made of fire was surrounding him with Timothy having no possible way out .

"See how easy that was ? I had trained these three idiots personally for the past few years,and trust me when I say that they are something even I couldn't truly face alone and win , but we can never be too sure .hehe anyways I made another break through as you can see I can now make aether influence the natural elements even though it's slightly imperfect, so tell me how are you going to escape that" Cirdec laughed

" Oh impressed but ." Timothy placed his hands on the ground , Cirdec looked at him curiosly as he could feel Timothy releasing aether into the ground. The three men surrounding him felt uneasy and before they could even react three giant earth spikes came out from the ground with frightening speed piercing them from the back and retracted back into the ground leaving them with gapping holes on their chests and the fire cage disappeared around Timothy as their bodies fell to the ground

"Exciting! Your proficiency with aether is outstanding , it's too bad you have always been on the wrong side" with that Cirdec vanished , Timothy didn't have time to think about Cirdec's words before heading to the dungeon below the structure , Timothy made quick work of the few guards he met on his way down and after about that 20 minutes of navigating his way to the dungeon he was now standing before a guard he had just killed Timothy's aether reserves were on 40 percent and this amount was barely enough for him to use broken steps and escape this place with moraine.

Timothy entered the smelly dungeon and he could see rodents crawling all over the place and they were many cells in here filled with different people , Timothy kept looking through the cells in order to find moraine but he couldn't spot the little girl in any of the cells and just as he was about to leave his ears picked up a feint sound , Timothy turned around and saw a naked teenage girl that had her hands and legs bound by chains that were pulling her in different directions the girl's chest moved up and down indicating that she was still alive

"Moraine" Timothy called her name and the little girl started sobbing

"No please no " she said her voice barely audible

Timothy moved so quick and he slashed all of the chains that bound her and caught her as she was falling , the girl tried to resist as tears flowed down her eyes but Timothy calmed her down

"Hey hey I'm not going to hurt you Moraine , it's me your brother Stephen " the girl stopped resisting and opened her teary eyes slowly before sbe started sobbing uncontrollably

"It's okay I'm here now I'm sorry I took so long " Timothy took of his coat and covered moraine in it

"Let me ask you this how are you goi g to get out of this one" Cirdec got out from one of the cells and all the other cells opened up and the people Timothy thought were prisoners came out all 20 of them , revealing cruel smiles as some licked their lips at the sight of Timothy and Moraine

"Look at the girl you came to save , she's broken ,done !! But you risked your life for her why because you two share the same parents? I slaughtered my wife and children in order to save myself cause they were dragging me down ,and yet look at you being dragged down by that little girl , I pity you ." Cirdec's men circled him , Timothy was no hero but his heart boiled in anger at Cirdec's words ,he wanted to kill them and his anger was slowly taking control of him but then Timothy found himself being dragged into a tear in space and he quickly covered both him and moraine with aether

They came out at the rocky mountains where Timothy had meditated at , Timothy turned to look at his saviour and Infront of him was a woman with long brown hair , with only one black eye as the other was covered with an eye patch , she was wearing 3 piece steampunk victorian brown corset and double bustle, long brown , short black skirts , with black heel boots that reached the thighs .

"You why did you save me?" Timothy asked as he looked at the woman infront of him

"I can take you back to the dungeon I don't mind" Timothy opened his eyes wide as he looked at the woman's face , her response just now was something only one person could say and that person was not of this world

"But how ?" Timothy asked and the woman smiled

"We are soulbond Mí'tûr" the woman called the name Timothy's other name which only a few people know of mainly his family

"Thank you Sebrina for saving me yet again" he looked at her before looking at moraine who had passed out in his arms

"I need to get her back are you coming?" She nodded and held Timothy's hand before stepping into another tear

Right after they disappeared Cirdec appeared in the same spot they were standing at then he revealed a smile

"Sooner or later I will be free" with that he was gone
