We need a team.

Jerry was in awe of his father's intelligence and determination, indeed, his several year's of dedication and searching wasn't pointless after all, it was as if his dad was a scientist; if truely, that this treasure does exist somewhere, finding a treasure like that can change their whole story. They could literally become whatever they wish.

"So you think we can find the crystal?" Jerry asked, trying to confirm again, if his dad was pretty sure of the expenditure.

"Oh, it's 'we' now, huh?" Jonas said, playfully teasing Jerry, who had earlier claimed that, he wasn't part of this, perhaps the spell of proves and evidence where truely inevitable.

Jerry let out an exasperated smile, still trying to hide his curiosity, but it wasn't working though.

"Lets say i am buying this whole..umm… crystal stuff, rain forest idea you are selling. Don't gloat over, though.''

Jerry's dad couldn't listen, he did just that for almost half a minute before he continued. "Well, the journey to the crystal won't be easy though," Jonas warned.

"It will require us to follow the route outlined on the Mapa Azul that I have now recorrected, including crossing rivers and traveling through dense jungle. But the biggest challenge will be locating the door to the earth's core, which is only visible to those who know what to look for. I believe I have the knowledge to find it, but it will be a difficult and…..umm… a very dangerous one."

His son paused for a moment, considering what his father had said, honestly, this was the part where everyone get to complain or probably declined, being the fact that it was going to be dangerous. But what true treasure on earth wasn't actually dangerous and difficult to find?

"I'm going with you on this, right?" he asked to be very sure, his voice filled with contemplation.

To be frank, one part of him, was hoping his dad would say 'No' but he knew he won't. Admist that, another part of him, was really intrigued on going for this expenditure.

This of course was really going to be difficult, it not like he had been planning for it, or ever expecting it to be real.

But right now, he was literally sitting down with the only man–who happens to be his dad; that knows the answer, that not only his ancestors had been longing for, but also what many scientists had gotten wrongly.

Missing this opportunity won't not only be regarded foolishly but also as a weakling; which he hated to be regard as, he had never liked to be seen as a weakling or the one they called 'Not man enough' so weather dangerous or not, he got this.

"You're right, and besides that's why I told you to come back home" his father agreed–just as he thought.

"See, we'll need a team of experts, with knowledge of archaeology, geography, and maybe botany. We'll need people who are physically fit and able to handle the rigors of the journey. And we'll need to be well-equipped, with supplies and equipment to help us navigate the difficult terrain."

"We need all that?" Jerry was surprised. He wasn't really expecting that much, where the hell are they going to recruit all of this?

"It's not a journey for the faint of heart." Jonas added.

"Clearly." His son nodded his mind in disarray as he calculated the task ahead. Honestly, in somewhat, he wish he had stayed at school or something.

"So we need to assemble a team," he said, choosing to take it slow.

"Yeah sure!" Jonas said, nodding his head. "Well, actually I was thinking about that, but…..I just thought of letting you know first, then maybe we could come up with an idea or something"

"But speaking of assembling a team of experts for this journey as you said, that will means involving the government to this, do you wanna involved the government?" Jerry question served as a reminder that some experts he needed were government workers.

"Agh! Shit! You're right," his father admitted. "It will be difficult to find the right people without involving the government. But we can't take that risk. We need to be discreet and keep our plans to ourselves. I don't know, maybe there might be some people who might be willing to help us, people we can trust. Do you think we can find anyone who will come along?"

His son thought for a moment, considering their options, he actually do not know of anyone related to the required needs at hand.

But, he thought of involving some people he knew, to make the journey more like an adventure and not a hunt or a turnoff, actually this was just his opinion not for the general though.

"I think we can," he lied. "I know some people, they are my friends though and they have always shared my desire for exploration and discovery. I am very sure they will understand the importance of what we're trying to do."

There was a bit of doubt in Jerry's heart, he clearly knows his friends sucks at this and he couldn't bear to say they'd actually sucks, because he knew his dad will declined immediately, but he chose to be optimistic, at least for his dad's sake.

"I don't know, but do you really think they would be willing to join us? And do you think they've the knowledge concerning things like this?"

"Of course they will," Jerry replied, without hesitation, adding a reassuring smile on his face, to make it look convincing.

"We've been through a lot together, and I know they'll be up for anything. And they have the skills and knowledge we'll need for this mission." He lied again.

"I'm glad to hear that," his father said, "because we will need all the help we can get."

'Yeah I know we do'

He thought, growing quiet for a while. He just have to figure away to make his promises trusted.

'or maybe I should just tell him the truth? Ohh damn! I shouldn't have lied in the first place, this man is being serious, disappointing him will in someway discouraged him… damn!'

"Is everything alright" Jonas said, startling him from his thoughts.

"Ohh yeah, I was just thinking about this whole adventure thing, just wondering what it will really means if we'd succeed" Jerry lied, giving a reassuring smile to lightning up the mood.

"Well, it will means everything to me boy, you have no idea, how much determination is in me now, getting this treasure is like rewriting a new world" Jonas said chuckling at his son.

"Yeah! I just hope will would" Jerry said, his smiling fading in to his thoughts as he imagine possibilities to come. As he drift to his thoughts still thinking, suddenly his phone buzzed him up, startling him up again…

Ding!

Ding!!

Ding!!!

"Why the sudden shock? Are you sure you're okay?" Jonas asked in suspicion..
