Horrifying clip

After a long drive, they got to a particular field to take a break. They all hopped out of the van, stretching their legs and taking in the view the forest that stretched out before them, looking so endless and wild.

They could hear the faint twittering of birds in the trees, and the sound of water flowing in a nearby stream.

Although, this wasn't actually the ramazon forest that they where venturing to; it was just an omission forest, but it was still being taken care of.

As the others jumped out of the van, Jonas was the last to do so; making a beeline for the back of the vehicle and then, he began to unload a variety of computers and equipment that he had set in.

He drew them out and started setting up a stand, he began to configure an equipment that he had out.

While he was busy with that, the others milled about, admiring the landscape and drinking in the fresh air.

Well, apart from mike who was too exhausted from the long drive as he claimed, so he just laid himself on the floor flawlessly embracing the fresh air in the atmosphere.

"I think we should try to translate the map ourselves," Jonas said, his brow furrowed in thought, as he drew out the old map from one of the backpack that was writing in ancient latin.

"The last translation was about 20 years ago, so it might be worth updating it. Right guys?."

Jerry raised an eyebrow as he heard his dad. He couldn't believe that it wasn't translated before they ventured in.

What if they had already entered the ramazon forest before they remembered to translate it, and unfortunately, it turns out to be ambiguous?

"But why wasn't it translated before we set out on this expedition?" he asked, a hint of skepticism in his voice, hoping his dad would give a convincing reasons.

"Well, i think the previous expedition had bigger priorities, and the map translation was overlooked," Jonas said, his voice sounding a bit apologetic.

"But I don't wanna make the same mistake, so we should probably try it again."

"Alright," Jerry said, his voice sounding resolute, he had of course expected his dad to have had a 'theory explanation' for his excuse, which he had somehow did.

And the truth was that, he actually didn't understand what he dad meant by it had 'bigger priority' so he just had to admit that his dad was right.

"Let's get to work then."

Jonas immediately set up his laptop and opened a translation program, while the others gathered around to watch at his back.

Still, except from mike who seems not to show any concern on whatever they where discussing about. He was actually being lazy.

With careful precision, he traced the letters on the map. Inputting them into the program, then slowly, the words began to appear on the screen of the computer, transforming from indecipherable lines into readable english.

"The Wishing Crystal is buried deep in the heart of the earth, the journey to find the wishing crystal is fraught with danger,"

Jonas read from the translated map, his voice was full of gravitas as he read the words in the screen.

"You will definitely encounter strange creatures that lurk in the dark depths of the earth, and monsters that will try to stop you, we have been there but we couldn't make it. But for those seeking for this mythology, please persevere, the wishing crystal awaits you, it does exist, we believe and we have seen proves that's real!"

They all stood in stunned silence, with their pale faces as the information sank in them as if it was installed on them like a game.

"Well," Zilia said at last, breaking the swirl silence that hung before them. "That was certainly something."

"But wait… wait, who wrote the original script of this information?" Serinal asked, a hint of skepticism wash over her, as she pounder on the information.

She was actually surprised to see that the information survive but the writers didn't. How come the previous expenditures who ventured into the search didn't make it?

"According to my research, they where some german scientist, that venture into this same place that we are about to, although they took the wrong path, they some how use a machine to to save the record and later on, it was found by some Britain's and boom! It was turn into a project, many scientists have tried and failed because they didn't know the accurate way, but guys trust me i have that in my palms and I'm ninety nine percent certain about it"

Jonas said, as he give a glare at the information at hand trying to hyped them on the chance they have.

"Ninety nine?" Jerry exclaimed, looking astonished. He had actually thought his dad was at least, a hundred and ten percent sure of the mission. Suddenly he was saying ninety nine?

"Yeah!" Jonas replied, his voice sounding serious as he tried to explain it to Jerry.

"i mean, i can't literally tell you hundred percent. Look, the first set of people that did this thing, where maybe fifty percent sure of this expedition, and they failed, but I got a whole ninety nine percent sure of this route, I'm literally the only man in the planet who knows where this treasure is, let not spilled that away now, okay!"

"Wait, hold on, are you saying those German scientist did a record of themselves while in the expedition and yet didn't came back alive?" Mike asked, as he finally stood up from the floor that he was lying on. He seems to be hearing the discussion as well.

"Yes, that's what happened, they even did a video record of themselves, which is one of the things that got me motivated to venture on this expedition, infact I have a copy of the clip" Jonas said, believing that if they see the clip themselves, it would also motivate them that the treasure was real.

And also, he was hoping someone among them would say 'show us the clip.' He didn't want to make it look like he was obliging them.

"Well then, why don't we see the clip since you have it?" Zilia asked, trying not look too intrigued on seeing the clip.

Just as he expected, a grin spread across his face.

"Oh, if you say so, here it's" Jonas said, as he click with the mouse, of the computer that he had earlier use in the translation.

His finger hovered around some of the keyboard and then he double-click on a hidden file in one of the apps.

He entered it, still swirling the mouse, as he quickly input the password to open the file.

Immediately after some few seconds, a black looking clip pop out of the inbox of the file, that obviously indicate that, it was the one that they where looking for.

"Alright guys, here it's" Jonas said as he finally click on it, still grinning at the entrance of it.

The video immediately play, as it seemed to open in an unsupppose start.

From somewhere in the video; a soldier hand was seen moving in front of the camera, fiddling with something out of view.

But as the scene came into focus, it became clear why his hands where in the screen–he was actually terribly injured, as some seep of blood could be seen spilling out of his mouth.

He actually spoke in german, his words sent a rush of revulsion around them as they imagine to understand what the guy was saying.

Another soldier came into the scene of the video, tapping his shoulders as though urging him to speak faster.

He kept tapping the one speaking like a newscaster, if imagine from assumption, it could be obvious that he was telling him to 'hurry up or something' they where both speaking german s it was quite impossible to tell what they where saying.

The man was still casting out the information as his voice growing weaker, that he could barely speak correctly. He turned backed looking at a scene the camera didn't review and quickly swerve back.

Although, there was this words he spoke that seem to capture their attention.

They all pay close attention to the man, as he intentionally seem to mean them from his speech, he actually strained the word's and that makes it sound seriously.

'wissenschaftler Kristal'

'wissenschaftler' which if interpreted in english means, scientist and 'Kristall' which if know one was to even interpret to them, they would still have a hint about it, that it was talking about the crystal.

They leaned forward, straining to hear all what he was saying, but of course, it was still sounding vague to them as it wasn't english.

Immediately, while he was still yet speaking, the cave at which they where, shocked out some dust, that drizzled in like it was poured, it was as if some kind of rock fell on it or something.

The man doing the video immediately took the camera and turn it to the direction of the cave that he had previously peeped at.

Maybe he did that to show the viewers or so as for whomever see it would know what they where actually going through.

The scene open into a terrific view, next thing that display was a wild huge black beast that jump down to the edge of the cave, where some soldiers were firing their weapons at it.
