encircled by wolves 2

The four wolves circled around lily and zilia, still snarling and snapping their jaws at them, some kind of thick gloomy saliva where dropping from their mouth's as they grunt.

The girls huddled together in fear, their hearts pounding in their chests as they where being surrounded by this extinct predators.

The forest was eerily silent, well, except for the rustling of leaves under the wolves' feet. The wolves inched closer, their eyes glowing in the shade, it was as if they had finished planning on the best way to attack them.

As they kept huddling like they where being trapped in one spot, actually; they where. Then, the alpha looking wolf let out a deep, guttural growl, and the others fell silent.

For a moment, the only sound was the girls' panicked breathing. Although, the tension was actually getting too unbearable.

"Stay calm," Jonas urge, his voice firm but reassuring, he was standing away from them with a few feet, close to the woods.

"Don't move guys, and don't make any sudden movements. That might agitate the wolves, okay!"

Zilia's eyes widened. "Stay calm? Like how can we possibly stay calm here?" she whispered.

"We're surrounded by wolves!"

Lily's hands were shaking, and she could feel her heart racing as well.

"I don't know if I can do this, we are probably having our own record of being eaten by some f**king extinct predators like the one we watched in that damn horror clip that you showed us" she said, her voice shuttered in annoyance.

Jonas took a deep breath, he had thought that the clip would encourage them, unfortunately, it turned out the other way round.

"Is alright, no one is getting eaten okay! Just try to focus on your breathing," he said. "In and out, slowly."

Suddenly, mike lifted his gun and fired it into the air. The loud crack of the gunshot echoed through the forest, and the wolves turned their heads in his direction.

The wolves began to move toward him, actually towards them, since mike was in their midst, their eyes now fixed on them with hungry intensity.

Although, the remaining black one's that had the features of wolves, kept lurking on this girl's.

They seemed to be very intelligent in terms of hunting, mike distraction wasn't really an obstruction to the beast, it seem like he made it better.

'okay, dummy mike has done what he knows how to do best, right? Now we are the one about to get eaten, well done mike!' Serinal yelled in her thought as she watched the wolves coming towards them.

Mike realizing the wolves coming more closer and closer, suddenly turned and ran away from their midst, his feet where pounding against the ground as he ran.

In less than 15 seconds, he could clearly hear the wolves behind him, their claws scraping against the earth as they gave chase on him.

'Why the f**k did you even blow the trigger? What the heck where you thinking? Right now, you're being chase by some stupid damn creatures.' his annoymous thought whined at him even as he kept running.

'Oh wait, if I survived this, I think I'll write a memo about it right, like; mike got chase by some fierce some creatures and he survived. Ha….ha.. hahahaha.. wait, what am I thinking, f**k!' He flashed back from his wierd thought, as he realizes that the wolves where now getting even more closer on him.

The wolves pursuit of Mike was relentless, their powerful legs eating up the distance between him. He could hear their panting breaths, their claws digging into the dirt.

Well, mike at the other hand was pretty fast too, perhaps his athlete stature was helping out.

As the two wolves focused their attention on Mike; Jonas, Jerry and Serinal took aim and fired at the remaining two that had the features of wolves, at the back of the pack, facing and lurking on lily and zilia.

Their shots rang out, and the wolves let out yelps of pain. They turned and lurked their eye's on them and before a twinkle of an eye, they sprang at Jonas, Jerry, and Serinal, who were now running for their lives.

Seems like mike got some companies now, perhaps, he wasn't that dummy as serinal supposed he was.

Lily at the other hand watched in horror as all her friends were pursued by the wolves. She knew she had to do something, but what could she do actually?

She was too scared to move, she was just frozen in one place, her heart pounding in her chest, maybe in relief of the pressure that just locked her some moments ago.

Well, some might have called mike a dummy for the shot, but as for lily, she sees him as a life saver; but of course in expense of endangering himself in her place.

But as the wolves kept chasing mike, lily couldn't help it, they just saved her ass, she had to do something. Immediately, her feet pounded against the ground as she sprinted toward the dense forest.

Her heart was racing, her breath coming in quick gasps. She clutched the pistol tightly in her hand, willing herself to keep moving.

Zilia at the other hand had sprinted towards Jonas direction, in attempt of probably saving him.

As lily ran, the forest loomed before her, its branches reaching out like claws. She could hear the wolves howling in the distance, and she knew she was running out of time.

She had to find mike before it was too late, the whole place around that area was just so hazed that it was blocking her view.

After a while of searching, Lily finally saw one of the wolves chasing mike, it was really moving fast.

So, she quickly raised her pistol and took aim at the wolf as soon as she sight it in a steady motion, but it was still trailing off her balance.

Her hands were shaking though, her vision blurring with fear as she tries to aim it carefully, because, if she missed her shot, she might probably endanger herself as the wolf might turn on her.

After trying to position her target, she finally squeezed the trigger, and the shot rang out hitting the wolf side-waist.

The wolf yelped and tumbled to the ground, a dark pool of blood spreading around it.

"Whoa!" She exclaimed as she saw the wolf fell, she nevered expected it to fall down flat in just one shot from a pistol.

"That was quick, hmm… good, you next bitch!" she yelled, pointing at the other wolf that kept chasing mike.

The second wolf kept on the chase, its powerful legs propelling it forward with astonishing speed. Mike ran as fast as he could, but he could feel the wolf closing in on him.

He knew he couldn't outrun it for much longer, but what other options does he have, if not to keep his legs moving?

Lily sprinted after the other wolf as well, as she couldn't aim that one, it was too fast. Her legs where burning with the effort, as she kept sprinting along.

She could hear its heavy breathing, and she knew that it was gaining on mike so bad.

Mike was running for his life as well, his feet flying over the ground, if this where to be an athletic competition, there wouldn't be a doubt that mike would win, precisely when it was about sprinting.

But the wolf was faster anyway, and it was gaining on him with every step.

As Lily ran, she noticed that the forest was growing darker at every step, the shadows deepening around them, so her vision where growing weak in attempt of aiming the wolf.

Mike kept on the run, he was like an antelope prey while of course the wolf was the deadly predator.

As he kept on, his foot caught on a fallen branch mistakenly, as he was looking back to be sure, if the wolf was very close or not.

He stumbled and fell to the ground. The wolf was upon him in an instant, its jaws snapping at the air, as it leaped up at mike.
