Chapter 60: Smashed

"Okay."

Professor Charles nodded and used a brainwave enhancer to enter Dr. Banner's mind. Soon, he reached the depths of Dr. Banner's consciousness and said, "Dr. Banner, I am Professor Charles. Together, we will suppress your angry personality."

"Professor Charles?"

Dr. Banner was first puzzled, then said, "That's not my angry personality. It's a beast."

"He is your angry personality, and he shares the emotional system with you, Dr. Banner. You should accept him."

"Not for now. Let's reclaim your body together."

"Alright, but he really isn't me."

Dr. Banner stubbornly insisted. Then, with the help of the professor's mental power, he gradually suppressed the Hulk's consciousness.

"I'm not going back."

The Hulk wasn't done playing yet, and more importantly, the enemy wasn't completely defeated. He didn't want to go back; he fought desperately against Dr. Banner.

During the mental battle, the Hulk was immobilized. General Ross saw an opportunity and quickly had the tank target the Hulk. At the same time, the Abomination crawled up from the ground, aiming his fist at the Hulk's back with a fierce expression.

"No!"

Betty shouted in dismay, but it was too late. Following General Ross's command, a shell and a green fist struck the Hulk simultaneously, sending him flying and creating a large hole in his back.

Seeing the Hulk injured, Betty struggled desperately, but the soldiers rudely pinned her down.

Injured and with his girlfriend pinned down, the Hulk was infuriated. He forcibly suppressed Dr. Banner's consciousness and quickly healed his wounds.

Then, the Hulk got up and kicked a nearby corpse towards Norman, who was sent flying and rolling on the ground.

After dealing with Norman, the Hulk roared loudly, leaped towards the soldiers, and then, with a powerful swing of his arm, several soldiers restraining Betty were sent flying. General Ross hurriedly escaped into his command vehicle.

As the command vehicle was preparing to escape, the enraged Hulk picked it up and held it over his head. Seeing the vehicle about to be thrown, Betty urgently shouted, "Bruce, no!"

The Hulk, feeling annoyed, slammed the vehicle on the ground instead. He then turned to face the soldiers and effortlessly sent them flying one after another.

The Hulk's strength was overwhelming, and the soldiers he struck were either dead or severely injured.

The situation was out of control, and Professor Charles's voice rang in Natasha's mind, "I'm sorry, I failed. The Hulk has been completely irritated."

Natasha gritted her teeth, "It's not your fault; it's the military's mistake."

The Hulk was rampaging, and someone couldn't sit idly by – the kind-hearted Spider-Gwen couldn't bear to see the soldiers in danger. She used her spider web to rescue two of them. The Hulk saw this and immediately charged at her.

Spider-Gwen quickly fired her web at the Hulk, but he tore it apart with a furious roar. Then, the Hulk ran toward her, and she tried to evade by jumping to a tree, but the Hulk kept demolishing the surrounding trees, leaving her with little room to escape.

Actually, if Spider-Gwen wanted to escape, it wouldn't have been difficult. The problem was she didn't want to endanger others, and she couldn't abandon those soldiers.

At this moment, the Hulk grabbed a large tree and used it as a club, sweeping it towards Spider-Gwen. Although she tried her best to dodge, she was grazed by the tree branch and fell from the air. She felt a sinking feeling; things were getting worse.

Just then, Spider-Gwen found herself embraced by a warm and strong figure. She looked up and saw that Andrew was holding her, and she felt a sense of relief.

Andrew landed on the ground and gently set Spider-Gwen down. He then patted her head and said, "You go, leave this to me."

"Okay, be careful."

Spider-Gwen nodded, feeling a sense of sweetness. Her boyfriend was reliable and gentle. Wait, hold on, she wasn't Spider-Gwen now; she was Spider-Woman.

Spider-Gwen suddenly felt a bit displeased, "Why is he so gentle with other women? And why is he patting their heads?"

As another person joined the fray, the Hulk grew even angrier. He was about to attack when he suddenly saw a gigantic figure rise behind Andrew – a figure only the Hulk could see.

This figure seemed to overlook the Hulk like a divine being, freezing the entire space. Even the Hulk couldn't help feeling fear and trembling.

"Hulk, invincible."

Fear didn't make the Hulk retreat; it made him even angrier. He roared loudly and leaped into the air, intending to smash Andrew with all his might.

Andrew shook his head, and just as the Hulk reached the highest point of his jump, Andrew appeared in front of him. Then, with a soaring high kick, he struck the Hulk's chin with force.

Accompanied by a crisp bone-cracking sound, the Hulk spun 720 degrees in the air and crashed into the ground, creating a crater shaped like a person.

Before the Hulk could recover from the violent impact, Andrew grabbed his ankle and hurled him to the left side, causing a loud boom as he hit the ground. Then, Andrew smashed him to the right, then left again, and continued this assault, causing the ground to sink, and buildings around them nearly collapsed.

Everyone was stunned. That was the Hulk – being thrown around like a toy. Who on earth was this formidable figure?

Spider-Gwen silently complained, "Is Andrew some kind of kung fu master from another dimension? He's so powerful."

Natasha admired, "The Ghost Rider is really too strong."

Professor Charles felt fortunate, "It's lucky Erik wasn't beaten to death."

General Ross and the soldiers were dumbfounded, "Who is the real monster here?"

Norman was bewildered, "Andrew William is actually this powerful? Thank goodness I didn't choose to fight him."

After the shock wore off, Norman couldn't help but feel deeply jealous – Andrew William was younger, stronger, wealthier, and more handsome than him. Why did he get all the good things?

Boom! Andrew released his grip, sending the Hulk back into the crater he had created. The Hulk stared blankly at the sky, his mind empty, not knowing who he was, where he was, or what he should do.

"There are no tears in the corners of his eyes, disappointing."

Andrew looked disappointed. Should he continue to beat him up a little longer?

At that moment, Betty realized what was happening. She broke free from the soldiers' grasp and ran to the Hulk, tears in her eyes, calling out, "Bruce."

The Hulk snapped out of it, got up, and gave Andrew a terrified look. He hugged Betty and fled into the distance.

General Ross ordered his men to pursue, but they looked at each other and chose not to move. Come on, we can't even fight that monster!
