Chapter 45: Drugs (2)

Lin Fan couldn't understand what she was saying.

"Buy her", what did she mean by that?

Lin Fan couldn't help asking, "I'm sorry, what do you mean by that?"

The girl had a surprised look on her face as she asked, "Aren't you here for 'that'? This is that kind of place. What else would you be here for?"

Lin Fan could tell by context what she meant by 'that', but this was what confused him.

In the information that Yan Luo had given him, there was no mention of this at all. All he learned was the code for being shown into the back and being allowed to buy something, but there was no mention of what this thing was.

Lin Fan had thought that it would be drugs or guns or something else illegal, he never thought that it would be this kind of trade.

Then Lin Fan realized that he should have figured this out already based on what they had asked him back outside.

They asked if he and Murong Yue were separate and the bartender had asked for separate fees for them. If he was just buying products, why would they need to be separate?

Lin Fan could already imagine what Murong Yue would say to him after they got out of here since he could also imagine what she was going through right now. It would be good enough if she didn't hurt that person…

That was actually what she did to a lot of people who used to hit on her before…

Seeing that Lin Fan wasn't saying a thing, the girl stood up from the bed and came over to him, looking over his face before revealing a blush.

When Lin Fan came back to his senses and saw that the girl was by his side, he couldn't help jumping back a step before realizing his mistake.

He calmed himself down before saying, "I'm sorry, it isn't you. I was trying to get something else and I think I've come to the wrong place."

The girl looked up at Lin Fan's face for a bit before asking, "Am I not pretty enough?"

Lin Fan didn't know what to say to this.

To be honest, this girl really was quite pretty though he couldn't see her entire face with her mask on. The features that he could see was enough to tell him if there wasn't the mask on her face, the face in front of him would be that of a beauty with pure white jade skin and long black hair.

As for her figure, while it wasn't as explosive as Murong Yue's, she had curves in all the right places which made her quite attractive. Then adding in the fact that she was only wearing a simple hoodie which didn't seem to have a shirt inside, it really left quite a lot to the imagination…

To say that Lin Fan wasn't attracted would be a lie, but he definitely didn't have time to think of this.

Not to mention that he knew what kind of place this was, so he could guess why this girl was here…

Lin Fan shook his head and said, "It's not that at all, it's just something else."

The girl continued looking at him before saying, "Is it because you think I'm dirty?"

Lin Fan was taken aback by this, but before he could even say anything else, the girl shocked him once again with her next words.

The girl then said, "It's not a problem because this is my first time as well."

Lin Fan couldn't help staring at this girl since he couldn't understand why she was saying all this.

Seeing Lin Fan staring at her, the girl couldn't stop a blush from covering her face as she turned her head slightly to look away.

After a while, the girl said in a small voice, "I'll have to do this anyway, it would feel better for me if my first time is with someone as handsome as you instead of some overweight old man…"

Lin Fan couldn't help feeling a bit of sadness and pity in his heart since this was the kind of place this was.

After a pause, Lin Fan asked her, "Do you mind if I ask you something?"

The girl was surprised to hear this in response, but then she said with a nod, "Alright."

Lin Fan looked right at her and asked, "Why are you doing this?"

The girl gave a sigh before saying, "Why do you think I'm doing this?"

Lin Fan realized that he said something wrong and quickly said, "No, no, I mean how did you end up doing something like this?"

The girl looked at Lin Fan and seeing that he wasn't joking, looking like he was actually curious, she gave another sigh before saying, "It's a long story, do you really want to hear it? You only have an hour, you know that right?"

Lin Fan revealed an awkward smile at this since he didn't want to buy 'that' in the first place, so the hour didn't really mean anything to him. So in the end, he gave a nod and said, "Tell me about it then."

The girl began telling her story.

It was a very cliche story, but it was her story.

It was a story of her drunk father's gambling debt reaching the point where they couldn't do a thing, so her father took a loan shark loan and put her up as the guarantor since she was already of legal age.

Naturally her father had run away after not being able to pay, so the debt had fallen to her and she was forced to work in this place after trying her best to maintain her debt.

After everything she had experienced, she was tired of it all and she just wanted to let it end, so she accepted working here. The very last hope that she had was that she could lose her first time to someone that she could approve of and Lin Fan was that person because of how handsome he was.

Lin Fan couldn't help asking, "Since you've been involved with them for a bit, do you know where they keep their stock and everything?"

The girl was surprised to hear this, but then she quickly asked, "Why do you want to know this?"

Lin Fan paused for a second before admitting, "I have a way to take care of them and your debt as well, as long as you're willing to help me find what I'm looking for."

The girl narrowed her eyes as she looked at Lin Fan, "Why should I trust you?"

Lin Fan revealed a difficult look before saying, "I can't really say why you should trust me, but at the very least, I can say that I don't want to hurt you. Would that be enough?"

The girl kept looking at Lin Fan for a bit before suddenly revealing a smile and saying, "That's the worst attempt at convincing someone that I've ever heard, but strangely it works."

The girl came over to the door and waved for Lin Fan to come over before saying, "There's still thirty minutes left, so you still have time. If you go out this door and down the hall to the left, make a turn left and follow that hall to the end, that should lead you to their supply room. Once you get what you need from there, you need to come back here right away before the thirty minutes are up to bring it out with you. I'll try to distract them for as long as I can if you don't make it back in time, but don't expect much."

Lin Fan didn't know why she suddenly decided to help him, but he chose to accept this offer since there was nothing else he could do. Not to mention that he had already made a save as soon as she went to the door, so he could always come back here if it was a trick.

Lin Fan was about to go out the door, but then the girl suddenly said, "Just so you know, if you do fail, I will pretend that you overpowered me and broke your way out. I won't die with you."

Lin Fan gave a nod when he heard this and said, "I didn't expect you to."

The girl paused for another second before saying, "Good luck."

Lin Fan was about to leave again, but then he turned around and asked, "Why are you wearing that mask?"

The girl was taken aback before suddenly revealing a smile, "Is that important right now? Should you really be wasting your precious time asking about this?"

Lin Fan knew that she was right, but he still felt like he should ask. For some reason, it was almost as if there was some kind of intuition telling him to ask about this.

Seeing that Lin Fan didn't say anything, the girl didn't beat around the bush and directly took off the mask on her face. This was a mask that had only covered up the upper part of her face and when she removed it, Lin Fan immediately understood why she was wearing it.

On the girl's face, on the right side of her eye, there was a giant burn mark.

It looked very red and ugly, completely different from the rest of her face, but for some reason, Lin Fan wasn't repulsed by it.

The girl saw Lin Fan staring at her scar and she said, "Pretty ugly isn't it?"

Lin Fan shook his head without any hesitation before saying, "I don't think so."

The girl said, "It was…"

But before she could say anything else, Lin Fan had already put the mask back on for her as he said, "You don't need to say anything."

Then as he turned to leave, the girl said, "My name is Kou Yu Na."

Lin Fan replied, "My name is Lin Fan."

With that, he went out the door.
