Why is he acting like we were never together? I hate this Li. After the classes, I walked to home and straight into my room. The winter dance is in two days. And I am not going to that dance without Lijah holding my hands. I heard a knock on the door. I quickly wiped off the tears, looked at the mirror to make sure my nose wasn't red. I widened my lips for a big smile and opened the door.

" Hey Mom."

" Amanda, I heard the winter dance is in two days and still you haven't asked me for a dress or for money. Aren't you going?" She asked.

I didn't know what to say. It's all based upon whether Li is going or not.

" And I hope you have signed up for 'Miss Vinlex High'."

I honestly forgot about that. Miss Vinlex High is like my mom's main thing. She was the Miss Vinlex of her times. It's real big deal for her.

"Yes Mom, of course I have signed up. How could I miss it! I just forgot about the dress and stuff with all the school works."

" Oh dear! It's ok, I am here to help. I'll take care of your dress and accessories. All you have to do is find a partner, and it better not be that crazy boy."

Saying that she walked out of the room, excited. Things are getting more and more intractable.

He clearly stated that he doesn't want me anymore, but I am not able to accept it. It's just so hard to accept, brother. If you were here, you would have guided me.
