"Robert, what is our next move."

" This case is frustrating!" She continued.

" We can solve this, if you care to be my Watson." I spoke with a smirk.

She looked at me with a smile and simpered.

" Eyes on the road, Sherlock."

We both reached our station and got in to have a further look into the files.

"Huge house, family portraits as large as the house itself, impossible walls and crazy rooms, still not a single security! Rich people are insane." She spoke with her hands on her head.

Security! How could I forget that? I rushed out the room and drove to Mr.Williams.

(POV Amanda)

How could he do this? Was I 'that' miserable?

I walked through the corridors to follow him. I could only see that girl from behind. Who 'is' she?

The girl slowly walked away to the wash room. I walked near to him. He slowly turned and looked at me.

" Amanda!" He called out my name.

For a moment there I forgot everything. I switched really fast to reality and spoke,

" You know, I saw something really weird today."

" What?" He asked.

" 'A dog' moving insanely fast!"

He stared at me for a long second and laughed. I continued with my savage straight face.

"Well, dogs do move really fast." He spoke.

The girl who he was with came back and took her position near him.

" So, this is Valerie, my cousin, and Valerie, this is Amanda, my.." He stopped there and looked at me.

I waited for him to complete his sentence. " My friend." He spoke.

I expected he would complete with the word 'classmate', but 'friend' was a better choice of word.

A part of me was ashamed of my 'savage' line. She was just his cousin!

The Valerie girl smiled at me and held his hands. Why does she have to hold his hands? You are not ten to hold your cousin brother's hand and walk around.

" Lijah, take me to the nearest ice cream parlor. My stomach is craving for some ice cream, I don't care if it's winter or summer." Valerie spoke.

Oh, I totally know her type and I hate that type. He looked at her and smiled.

" Li, I actually needed to talk to you about something really important."

.She gave me a 'popular girl' smirk and rolled her eyes.

"Uh.. Ya, sure Amanda. Val, wait right here." He spoke.

We both walked a little far from her and I started.

" They asked me about who did I appoint to move the garden."

" I guess you lied, if not I would have handcuffs by now." He replied looking straight into my eyes.

" I said that I never send any workers."

Now the stare was different, a stare of surprise.

" Well.. good one. Oh wait, but the security. He saw mine and uncle's face."

Well, I never thought about that.

" But, that's not a big issue. He will say, that he saw an old aged man and a young man together. We don't have to bother much about that."

"Li, but the truck. What about it?"

That's a loophole for the cops. An officer saw the truck on my way out of the house.

"I'll take care of it, don't worry." I held her shoulders and spoke.

" Uhh.. Did you hear about the winter dance?" I asked him.

I was just reminding him, you know!

" Yes I heard about it."

(POV LIJAH)

" Ah.. Ok." She replied and walked away. She makes me give her a glad eye. This is complicated!

"Lijah, I am waiting." Val shouted from the corner.

"Did you always have that nickname 'Li'." She asked.

"No, that is only reserved for Amanda." I replied.
