CHAPTER 7

★ De Luca - Lucas's Vinca style ★

De Luca - Lucas's Vinca Style is the combination of style, wine, and luxury. "Vinca" means "wine" in Latin, which adds a sophisticated and elegant touch to the name. "Style" is a broad term that encompasses fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, making the brand name versatile and inclusive.

The alliteration of "Lucas's" and "Luca" creates a memorable and catchy sound, while "Vinca" adds a unique and distinctive element to the name.

Which is why Salvatore chose the name to portray both the fashion world and the wine business as well. But in the underworld also known as the Mafia the name De Luca means Death's claw which no one should Reckoned with, they are powerful, dangerous and command respect.

Those who cross them always and will face severe consequences.

Salvatore was sitting in his office while discussing with Theo about the recent updates regarding the Mafia and also about Umberto De Luca recent activities so far.

"So my uncle hasn't done anything yet" Salvatore asked Theo.

"Yes Mr Umberto De Luca hasn't done anything threatening you or Clara yet, he's just going about his business" Theo said.

"Hmm this is Umberto De Luca he obviously isn't just going about his business, he's still pissed with the fact I run the De Luca empire, plus he couldn't kill nor get rid of me during that shoot out. And he's also pissed knowing i

"Yeah and his daughter too" Theo said with a smirk.

"Well it's not my fault I catch the eyes of women" Salvatore said while remembering the hot night he spent with Valentina.

"Sheesh look at you fall in Love" Theo said rolling his eyes.

"Love? I'm not in Love with Valentina okay, we both know what we are doing and we both know we have no romantic feelings for each other this is strictly business" Salvatore said sternly and took his tablet to check things relating to his business.

"Maybe for you but are you sure she doesn't have feelings for you" Theo said and Salvatore looked unconcerned.

"That's her problem if she has feelings for me, I already told her I won't feel anything whatsoever for her and I definitely won't fall in Love again that feeling is long dead" Salvatore said in a cold tone and Theo could only nod.

"You have a meeting at 5:00pm" Theo said and Salvatore frowned looked at his watch to see the time is 4:50pm.

"The fuck it's 10 mins to 5 why are you just telling me" Salvatore said glaring at Theo.

"Cause I know you would prefer to arrive late to this meeting" Theo said not looking at Salvatore.

"And who exactly I'm I meeting in this meeting" Salvatore said.

"Lukas Wayne CEO of Wayne's Reign and Luxury" Theo said not concerned about the angry Salvatore in front of him.

"Hmm fine then we might as well meet the bastard" Salvatore getting up and Theo did the same. They both left to Lukas company for the meeting.

Clara, Luna and Sarah went out to a cafe to eat lunch and also talk regarding their meeting.

It's a awkward moment for Sarah, from time to time she just felt Clara's glaring eyes on her but everytime she looked she would just see Clara acting caring with Luna which was making her lose it.

"Umm... So about proposal I was talking about, what do you think miss LaRose" Sarah said while but underneath the table she was squeezing her dress tightly.

"You can call me Luna and regarding your proposal I like it, plus your offer is also perfect for my company" Luna said Smiling.

"So does this mean you would like to go in business with my family" Sarah said with a bright smile.

"Well I don't see why not" Luna said and signed her assistant to bring a Document.

"Just sign this and we have ourselves a partnership" Luna said giving Sarah the Document to sign.

"Ohh what is the document state exactly" Sarah asked suspicious about Luna's change in mood.

"Nothing much just in case your family is involved in any fraud and other serious act my company should not be in any way affected by it that's all" Luna said politely while smiling showing nothing but innocence.

"Umm... Okay then can I go through this first though" Sarah asked still suspicious about Luna's act.

"Sure why not you got all the time to do that" Luna said and continued eating while Clara fed her.

Sarah was being cautious with Luna especially Clara right now, but seeing Luna she doubt Luna is capable of doing anything harmful to her.

"Okay everything seems to be in order, let me sign this" Sarah said and immediately signed the documents and Luna looked satisfied.

"Nice going into business with you Miss LaRose" Sarah said to Luna holding a smile on her face.

"Hey you can call me Luna okay, after all we are business partners now" Luna said smiling and Sarah returned the smile.

"Okay then Luna nice going into business with you, it was nice meeting you same with you Miss Clara" Sarah said but Clara raised her eyebrow.

"Likewise it was nice meeting you too" Clara said while smirking at Sarah which only made Sarah feel uncomfortable more and she left to her car waiting for her.

Sarah entered her and breathe in and out, trying to relax herself.

"Are you fine miss" The driver asked.

"Yeah just drive to my house, I need to rest" Sarah said and the driver drove to her house.

Clara watched how Sarah's car drove off and smirked at how Sarah has been holding her fear, cause of her.

"She was Nice I like her" Luna said still feigning innocence.

"Really now, you like her and yet you just planned her doom" Clara in a low tone but enough for Luna to hear her.

"Well she crossed her limits when she hurt Salvatore, it's cause of her he doesn't want to Love anyone" Luna said innocently.

"True, but this just the beginning after all we haven't even begun to cause that much damage to her yet, this is just the beginning" Clara said and continued drinking her coffee while Luna was eating her food.

"Look out Sarah Rizzo I'm coming for you, you made a mistake hurting my brother and now I'm gonna make you pay just you wait" Clara said in her mind while holding a sinister smile.

★ Wayne's Reign and Luxury Company ★

Salvatore and Theo arrived at the Lukas company and everyone couldn't help but admire and drool at Salvatore and Theo.

The men admire Salvatore and Theo and the women drooled over them.

Salvatore and Theo immediately met Sandra Lukas P . A and she greeted them.

"Good evening gentlemen, the Meeting room is this way please" Sandra said while taking them to the meeting room.

When Salvatore and Theo reached the meeting room they immediately met the shareholders of Wayne's Reign and Luxury and of course Lukas Wayne sitting at the front.

Salvatore took his sit facing Lukas and Theo sat by his side, which surprised Sandra. Usually the P . A always stoop up and stand next to the Boss.

"Let's get this over with I have other things to do" Salvatore said coldly making everyone shiver but Lukas only smirked at this. Lukas gave his signal for the presentation to begin.

The presentation started off nice, one of the shareholders also made generous offers for Salvatore to join the company and also persuaded him too, but Salvatore would not respond but looked unconcerned and not interested.

"Hmm is that all" Salvatore asked coldly and everyone gulped.

"Umm... Yes Mr De Luca that's all" One of the male shareholders said.

"Okay then my Response will be with u soon, I will take my leave now like I said before I have other things to do" Salvatore said getting up and Theo followed the shareholders immediately panicked but Lukas looked unmoved.

"Hmm Salvatore can I have a word with you alone at least before you go" Lukas said smiling and the everyone started leaving, Theo was hesitant at first but Salvatore signaled him to leave and he did.

It was now only Salvatore and Lukas alone.

"Okay let's talk Salvatore I have been meaning to talk to you one on one but you never allowed me too" Lukas said feigning a hurt expression.

"Well I hate talking to those who are beneath me" Salvatore said calmly and that pissed Lukas off and Salvatore saw it.

"Angry I see are you angry about my words" Salvatore said pretending to care.

"No it's fine, I'm just stressed that's all you should understand after all running a company is a lot of work wouldn't you agree" Lukas smiling again.

"True running a company is a lot of work and like I said I have a lot to do so is this talk going anywhere" Salvatore said now getting infuriated.

"Hmm yes sorry about that, how've you been actually it must be so hard for you right" Lukas said and Salvatore looked confused.

"And what do you mean by that exactly, cause so far I have been fine and better than ever" Salvatore said and Lukas immediately saw the opportunity to piss him off.

"Well you know you lost your mother and worse you had to learn you are a bastard of the De Luca family, plus you even had to learn you mother may her soul rest in peace was your father's personal slut" Lukas said without a care and Salvatore immediately knew what Lukas was trying to do.

"Actually no my mom may her soul rest in peace wasn't even my biological mother, unfortunately my real mother died and no I'm not a bastard but yet even the woman who didn't give birth to me Loved me and took care of me unlike your mother who hates and despise the likes of you" Salvatore said back and Lukas expression immediately darkened.

"I should be the one asking this how are you doing, it must've be hard growing up without a mother's Love plus had to learn you are probably a bastard to Luther Wayne may his soul rest in peace" Salvatore said and Lukas was holding onto his sit with anger and Salvatore was enjoying every bit of it.

"Hm...how are you doing are you okay, it must have been a lot to handle alone" Salvatore said.

"True it's being a lot" Lukas said and smiled while Salvatore looked away and got up from his sit.

"Like I said Mr Lukas I have a lot to do so I will be on my way now" Salvatore said and immediately started leaving.

"Actually I'm not alone, Sarah Rizzo warms my bed at night so at least I'm not alone" Lukas said smiling, while Salvatore looked back with a smile taking Lukas by surprise.

"Good for you, but I actually have a family who actually cares and loves me I unfortunately can't say the same for you though" Salvatore smiled and left with Theo leaving a very angry Lukas.

"Mark my words Salvatore De Luca I'm gonna make you regret ever insulting me, just you wait" Lukas said out loud angrily and he left the meeting room.
