Chapter 17
Salvatore was surprised by Lorenzo's words, but he didn't show it.
"You like her, no you Love her don't you Salvatore" Lorenzo said.
"No I don't, I don't have such feelings for Valentina" Salvatore said coldly.
"Is that the lie you keep telling yourself" Lorenzo said.
"Lorenzo it's late and it's best we both get some sleep, I need sleep and I think Theo needs you now" Salvatore said while getting up from his sit.
"Okay then get some sleep, but stop hiding your feelings. It's always painful when you let the one you love get away" Lorenzo patted Salvatore and left to Theo's room.
Salvatore left to his room try to get some sleep, but he was unable to get it.
"Love? Did I truly love Valentina, only what we had was nothing but sex. But Love? Hmm nah Lorenzo must be mistaken, I can't Love Valentina I obviously can't" Salvatore said deep in thought and slept off.
Another day everyone was up and awake, Luna woke up happy but was a bit sad cause Clara wasn't next to her, she was about to get up when the door was gently opened.
And behold Clara was entering the room dressed and with tray full of Luna's breakfast, all of her favorite.
Luna was surprised and was behold happy,she didn't know how to process everything.
"Good morning Amore" Clara greeted Luna.
"And a good morning to you Mi amore" Luna said trying to hide her blushing face.
"When did you have the time to make all of these" Luna asked while looking at the beautiful breakfast.
"Hmm I woke up early and started early of course" Clara said with a smile.
"Awwwn you did this for me" Luna said with a red face.
"Who else if not for the Love of my life" Clara said and Luna blushed Even more.
Clara gently shift the tray of food and kissed Luna, it started off soft and gentle before it started getting hungry by the minute.
"Okay that's enough" Clara said making Luna pout.
"Don't give me that face, you know what happens if we continue" Clara said sternly and Luna grumpy making Clara chuckle.
"Okay time for you to eat and of course I will feed my princess" Clara said making Luna smile.
Clara started with the strawberries she fed it to Luna, then she fed her the pancakes cutting it small. Luna was enjoying every bit of everything and she wishes this moment could last forever.
Clara was feeding Luna a glass of milk when Clara's phone rang.
"Umm sorry let me take this" Clara said and Luna held the glass instead.
When Clara checked who's calling she was surprised to see it was Christopher.
"Hello" Clara said indifferently.
"Hello Clara, could you come to the hotel it's urgent" Christopher said on the other line.
"And why should I come, isn't everything good" Clara said and Luna looked at her.
"No not all Aurora had a panic attack and she hasn't woken up" Christopher said.
"What!!, how and when" Clara said on the other line.
"I can't explain much just come quick" Christopher said and hung up.
Clara was lost in thought, she didn't even notice Luna watching her every expression.
"Ummm... Babe are you okay" Luna asked with worry.
"Umm yeah but Aurora isn't, I need to see her" Clara said making Luna's chest tighten.
"Umm okay is she okay" Luna said trying not to sound upset.
"No she had a panic attack, so I need to know if she's okay" Clara said and she kissed Luna on the cheek.
"Don't worry I will be back soon, eat up okay" Clara said and left the room, not leaving space for Luna to say anything else.
Luna didn't have the appetite to eat anymore, but seeing Clara went through the trouble to make it for her she had to eat it all.
Clara immediately left and went straight to the hotel.
Salvatore was already up and dressed, he was on his way to the kitchen when he saw Valentina and Theo chatting happily, while Lorenzo watched them.
"Morning" Salvatore said, Theo and Lorenzo responded except for Valentina who continued enjoying her breakfast.
"Well I best be leaving now, I have somethings to do with Antonio and I can't keep him waiting" Valentina said which was a lie but she didn't want to be around Salvatore at the moment.
"Okay have fun" Theo said cheerfully.
"Hmm Valentina wait we need to talk" Salvatore said stopping Valentina in her tracks.
"I'm quite busy Salvatore so that will be another time" Valentina said trying to leave.
"Then we'll go together then" Salvatore said dragging Valentina to his car not leaving any room for objections.
While in the car Valentina shot daggers towards Salvatore, and of course he noticed.
"First off I wanna say I'm sorry for everything" Salvatore said catching Valentina by surprise.
"I'm sorry for insulting you, and not treating you right. I know what you feel for me is genuine and I know what it means to feel such, I'm sorry for hurting you, you don't deserve any of this" Salvatore said making Valentina soften.
"Why did you hurt me then" Valentina said.
"Cause I'm afraid, I'm afraid of loving someone again and to get hurt in the worst possible way" Salvatore said and immediately stopped at the red light.
"Salvatore you need to stop being afraid and start facing your fears, look at how far you have come. If you didn't take risks and faced your fears would you have reached here" Valentina said and Salvatore looked at her.
"I know it's hard loving again seeing you have gotten hurt in the worst possible way, but that doesn't mean it will repeat itself" Valentina said now taking Salvatore hands.
"Valentina what if I'm not the one for you and what if we don't last forever" Salvatore said with deep emotions.
"Well we won't know unless we try" Valentina said and just then the red light turned green.
"Salvatore go" Valentina said.
"But I'm not leaving" Salvatore said.
"No I mean literally go" Valentina said again.
"I'm not leaving u" Salvatore said sternly.
"No you idiot I mean go, the green light is on dummy" Valentina said making Salvatore see the green light on and the other drivers pressing their horns.
Embarrassed Salvatore drove quickly and Valentina started laughing.
