Making a friend

The glorious figure glared at the decapitated body of Alan that was slowly regenerating, much to his confusion for the first time in aeons.

.

A few hours went by, and the sun finally completed its journey in the sky from the east, and found its way to its throne of clouds in the west.

The naked figure of the unconscious young man began showing signs of life, as his eyelashes fluttered, and his fingers moved. In the next moment, his eyes snapped open, as he sat up on the ground, and glared at his surroundings, seeing the dried up pools of his own blood.

"You stupid wheel! Do I have to die all the time?! What the fuck is wrong with you?! Do you know how it felt getting my head ripped off my body?!"

He roared out in anger and dropped to his knees, clutching his head in annoyance, wanting to forcefully erase those few moments from his memories.

Meanwhile, a pair of eyes watched him in fascination, hidden beyond space and reality.

"Sigh.."

After grieving for himself for a moment, Alan sat against a rock and sighed, probably wondering why only he had to endure such torment, and why life couldn't help but get any better. In such moments, he finally felt the loneliness he had tried so hard to run away from.

"Wheel, I'm sorry for shouting at you…you know what? Its alright. You probably can't hear me anyway.."

Tears pooled in his eyes, but he clenched his teeth, refusing to let them fall. Now that he thought of it, he was truly the one human alive in this world. Even if he traveled miles upon miles, he would not come to find a single human alive, not in any corner anywhere.

*BANG!*

Suddenly, the space beside him seemed to twist and shatter like mirrors, as the most beautiful creature he had ever seen walked out of what looked like another dimension right before his eyes, dressed in an impossibly pure white chiton.

Six golden wings fluttered behind him, filled with heavenly glory and majesty, that levitated his body, unlike Alan's mundane bird wings behind him.

Alan's eyes revealed mixed emotions, as he immediately got up and run towards the man.

"Ou nion deyes….."

The man's eyes revealed disgust towards Alan incoming figure, as he spoke in an alien tongue, and waved his hand in a hurry. The next moment, golden light burst out, consuming every single iota of matter until the very planet along with its trillions of life forms were gone.

Alan himself had vanished along with the earth, and the only thing that remained of him was the golden dharma wheel that hung in the expanse of space, and twitched occasionally, as if trying to rotate, but being held in place.

Watching the dharma wheel the angel moved towards it, trying to touch the surface, with his face clouded in fascination, when a mighty wave of energy burst out of the wheel, unleashing a dormant energy that sent him flying through multiple galaxies at light speed.

In that moment, time itself began to rewind, as the nothingness slowly exploded, creating debris of matter and particles that slowly put the earth back together, along with the life forms in it.

The Angel appeared a second later and landed on earth, only to see Alan staring at him in wonder.

However the next moment his eyes widened in shock, as Alan embraced him in a mighty bear hug, completely unbothered and unharmed by the divine aura that surrounded his body.

"Thank God. I'm not the only human in this fucked up universe.."

Alan cried out, as the angel raised a brow and then pushed him off him.

"~Nie menen ir fra mo~" The man spoke in an angelic tongue once more, and Alan simply raised a brow and laughed.

"I don't understand what that means, but I'm happy to have you here buddy.."

Alan went in for a hug once more, but the man scrunched his face in disgust.

"You do not understand because you are not paying attention, mortal.."

A calm British accented voice sounded out, as Alan hurriedly took a step back and turned around in shock.

The angel pridefully raised his head, and Alan turned his head to the side in wonder, and then rubbed his eyes and slapped himself to awaken from any possible daydream.

"You..you can talk?" He covered his mouth and pointed at the angel in shock.

"Of course you foolish mortal, I am not dumb after all." He replied, as Alan finally laughed.

"Okay, for introductions my name is Alan Jefferson, and you are?.."

He stretched out his hand, wanting to shake the hand of the angel, however, the Angel merely chuckled and walked past him.

"What in the name of my father is this object? I have never encountered anything like it before?"

He went back to examine the dharma wheel which had gone back to its unresponsive state above Alan's head.

"Oh! This is wheel, he's a friend of mine.." Alan laughed and tapped his finger on the edge of the wheel as the angel raised a brow.

"Hmmm? I thought you were human, but now that I think about it, you're not. Were you sent here to this godforsaken era by that old man too?"

Alan closely examined the angel and asked.

"Tsk. I am no human, human. I am an Archangel of the highest order, the lightbringer, son of the Creator of all.."

The angel bragged with a prideful smile, as his six golden wings burst out of his back in their full glory.

"Oh? Like I said before, I am Alan Jefferson. I don't know who my father was, but uhh, I am a protector of Earthrealm.."

Alan flared his nose, as his pair of dark bird wings burst out of his back.

"Hahaha! And what are those?" The angel laughed, pointing to Alan's wings, which he quickly put away and coughed in embarrassment.

"Hold on. You are an Angel? Dammit! How could I have been so blind. Fuck!"

Alan roared and smashed his hand into a large rock, turning it into sand in an instant.

"Take me back home now!" Alan ordered, as the angel watched him in curiosity.

"I have no idea what you want or mean for that matter." He replied and put his wings away.

"Your damn father, that old man was the one who brought me here! He took my mother away from me, and now he has left me here in this godforsaken world with nothing!"

"You will not speak of my father in such a manner!"

The two tall and handsome men faced off against each other, as Alan's wheel glinted.

The angel instantly took a step back and sighed.

"Why don't you explain what you mean, mortal.."

He gestured to Alan. "

"I lived with my mother in the 21st Century, being devout worshippers of God Almighty.."

Alan laughed sarcastically.

"Until, she was shot and killed in an alleyway, taking a bullet that was meant for me. Your father never intervened to save her, although she gave her all for him. And a few years later I was hit by a car on my way home from school.. and voila, I woke up here, with these stupid beasts!"

Alan spoke and went to take a seat on a rock to calm his heart.

"Your father took everything away from me, now I want you to take me back.."

Alan spoke in anger, as the Angel frowned for a moment.

"I can assure you, young mortal, my father has done no such thing. I would know because I created this multiverse with my own two hands."

The angel spoke pridefully, while he reminded himself inwwardly not to provoke the wrath of the golden dharma wheeel behind Alan. Just from that energy that had crashed into him he could tell that the wheel was something out of their world.

"So you're saying you guys are not responsible?" Alan scratched his hair in frustration.

"Where I come from, the God I used to serve us know to have Angels as his messengers or whatever.."

He looked at him earnestly, but the angel shook his head.

"I'm afraid not, young mortal. Besides, you humans are not supposed to show up until later on. To calculate precisely, in about 100 billion years from now."

The angel shook his head and looked into the distance.

"Sigh..I knew it wasn't going to be so easy.." He sighed and punched the ground hard, causing it to shatter.

"So what are you doing here anyway?" Alan asked, as the angel looked at him and looked away.

"I was bored." He replied and shook his head with a sigh.

"What? Bored? I thought you lived in some golden city with streets of gold and buildings carved out diamonds. How could you be bored in such a place? Besides, aren't you supposed to have overwhelming power? Didn't you say you created the multiverse with you own two hands? How could you be bored?"

Alan asked with an innocent expression as the Angel sighed and looked at him in confusion.

"Well the silver city isn't streets of gold. There are more materials precious than gold, that the silver city consists of. Also, having overwhelming power doesn't cure boredom. In fact, having nothing to do, but just maintaining the orders and oracles of heaven and watching the earth progress is really boring, for someone like me, who is the most beautiful and powerful of all.."

Shaking his head at the narcissistic tendencies of the angel, Alan couldn't help pat his shoulders much to the dismay of the angel.

"Well, at least, you should have something to do with all the power right? Like I don't know, create a whole world of fucking superheroes and watching them battle for eternity!"

Laughing maniacally he cleared his throat after seeing the disgusted look on the angel's face.

"That is not the point. Having all the power means there's nothing that has existed, exists or will exist that I do not know about. Everything has already played out before my own two eyes, except the order of the Heavens. The unpredictable, and unknown, does not exist in my world.."

The angel sighed and looked to the skies.

"Well if it helps, just know that we are like friends now. At least you can come keep me company in this foreign world.."

The moment Alan spoke, the angel's eyes widened as he glared at him.

'The unpredictable and the unknown variable? He's right here before my eyes, and that mysterious wheel. Maybe if I stay close enough to him, I can finally cure this boredom. Maybe he is the key.."

The angel seemed to process thousands of thoughts at once before a small smile formed on his face.

"You're right, mortal. You should be honoured to called the first ever friend of the light bringer."

The angel laughed and patted Alan's shoulder playfully.

"We'll, you know if we're friends now, can you stop it with the whole mortal thing? It's fucking unnerving. I'm sure even wheel agrees with me on this one.."

Alan rubbed his forehead in annoyance and pointed to the wheel to which the angel's heart shuddered in excitement.

"Also, can you tell me your name? Angel's have names where I come from, you know."

Alan sat down beside him and asked.

"Samael." He spoke, as Alan nodded and smiled.

"Anyway, mort- sorry, Alan, I need to retrieve something and will see you soon. Take care.."

"Hey wait!!"

Samael smiled and unfurled his wings, before disappearing in a streak of golden light.

"Samael…why does that sound familiar.." After Samael left, Alan alone sat on a small rock which tossing pebbles into the sky, before realization struck him.

"Samael? Now wonder! Fuck! How can I be so dumb at times! I've been isekai'ed into the motherfucking DC multiverse!" Alan flung a rock in his hand with all of his strength, causing it to disappear into the horizon.

He had been reborn into a world of Gods, heroes, aliens, angels and so much more.

A/N: Look here guys. This isn't the actual DC multiverse. Think of it as an Alternate Universe, where everything is in the early stages
