Backstory

(AN: I changed enhanced brain to enhanced mental faculties in the previous chapter, also this is just a short chapter to explain his reasons and the lif of the meat suit(prev. body owner.)

When I woke up, it was with the memories of Henry Collins. I remember answering a Reddit on what my wishes would be if I had the chance to reincarnate in the DC multiverse and I think I made some pretty decent wishes; Spiderman's powers with camouflage would make me pretty good at espionage and allow me to fight with lower-tiered metahumans at close-range; the Human Torch's ability would give me a versatile attack and the ability to absorb solar energy pretty much gave me a virtually infinite source of energy; Wolverine's healing factor would allow me to survive most fights against beings more powerful than me; the improved mental faculties were already showing their usefulness, allowing me to remain calm and think logically; power anchoring wasn't really a great choice when there are people with better powers, but imagine finding out you have a clone with the same abilities as you because someone found a piece of hair.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I went for a quick shower while going through my new memories. Henry Collins was orphaned at the age of 18 but managed to get a full-time job as a library assistant. He used what little extra he had to fund his hobby of language-learning and read untranslated works to test himself; when he finally felt satisfied, he started translating as a leisure past-time. He eventually quit his job at the library after he started making more money from translating than from the library.
