Considering the other Hellhound needed to literally freeze himself to live a bit more than 100 years, he should take the immortality potion or use the sleeping-type spell if he wants to make it to beginning of plot.

Why are all the super powers (so far) temporary and for some reason limited to 3rd stage? Unless 4th stage directly makes one go from wall to large building level or has a major quality enhancement, it really seems non-sensical. I'd be more accepting if his low realm was the reason but so far seems independent of it.

They can specialize depending on the circle and build but they do tend to be all-rounders capable of buff, tank, and attack

The circles are the subclasses except for circle of the land which is split into 5 (I don't remember) specific circles based on terrain

Preferred enemy: cultivator goes hard though

Having a second life is useful unless you plan to live peacefully

Assuming this is the mortal world where "Dao" abilities cap at reversing karma or stopping time locally, then Wish is enough to make him an unstable high-tier
