Elec was stunned.
Not enough potential? What does that mean?
Although Gas was a loner with a peculiar temperament, his talent was the strongest in the history of the Heeter Family. And now, the dragon was telling him that Gas's potential wasn't enough to become the strongest in the universe?
Are there really so many powerful beings in this universe now?
Elec frowned deeply.
If this wish cannot be fulfilled, what other wish could be made? What wish could help him? How can the Heeter Family be revitalized?
"Is it really impossible to fulfill this wish? Is there no way for Gas to become the strongest in the universe?" Elec asked, his voice tinged with desperation.
The dragon on Planet Cereal was silent for a moment before responding, "There is one condition that could allow Gas to become the strongest in the universe."
"What condition?" Elec asked, swallowing nervously.
In order to secure the Heeter Family's future, he was willing to accept any condition.
The dragon explained, "The condition is to squeeze and condense all of Gas's potential abilities. This will drastically increase his strength, making him the strongest in the universe for a short period of time…"
"Squeeze all his potential? What does that mean?" Elec's pupils dilated as he realized the implication.
But if this was the price to make Gas the strongest in the universe and ensure the Heeter Family's dominance, then it was a price worth paying.
Macki, sensing the same implication, frowned and asked, "Does that mean it will shorten Gas's lifespan?"
"Yes," the dragon confirmed. "Squeezing his potential will shorten his lifespan, but it will make him the strongest in the universe."
"How long will he have to live?" Elec asked.
"Two years," the dragon replied.
Elec, Macki, and Oil fell into a heavy silence.
After a moment, Macki spoke up first. "Elec, forget it. Gas is our brother. We can't do this to him."
Oil remained quiet, his expression unreadable.
Elec, however, grinned and looked at Macki. "Hey, Macki, let me ask you—if it were you, would you be willing to become the strongest in the universe? For the Heeter Family, for the unprecedented glory… to become the strongest in the universe?"
Macki hesitated. Damn it, he's crazy… I don't want to die yet.
But the words that came out of her mouth were different. "Yes, of course, I would."
Elec nodded, satisfied. "That's right. Everything is for the family, to ensure that our Heeter Family can sit on the top throne. But Macki, your talent is too ordinary. Even if you had the strongest power in the universe, I doubt you'd be able to fully wield it."
"Ha, ha, ha, is that so?" Macki forced a laugh, wiping sweat from her forehead.
"So, it has to be Gas, right, Oil?" Elec turned to his second brother, who was known for his simplicity and honesty.
"I'll do it," Oil said loudly. "Let me become the strongest in the universe."
Oil gritted his teeth, his resolve clear.
"..."
"Stop fooling around. With your level of intelligence, even if you gained the strongest power in the universe, you wouldn't be able to use even a tenth of it. Don't forget that Gas can unleash his fighting instincts and enter a rampage state, doubling his fighting power."
"If he gains the strongest power in the universe, no one will be able to stand against him."
Macki and Oil fell silent.
Elec was right—their talents were far behind Gas's, with no comparison. Even if they squeezed out all their potential, they might not become the strongest in the universe. This was a matter of innate talent.
They had been deliberating for too long, and the dragon in the sky was growing impatient. It urged them, "Have you made your decision? What wish do you want to make?"
Elec cleared his throat, then looked up at the dragon and said, "We've made our decision. We accept the condition. Make Gas the strongest warrior in the universe!"
"Very well, as you wish."
The aqua-blue dragon's eyes flashed red, and a strange power surged from it, flowing into Gas's body in the distance.
Crack!
The sky darkened as dark clouds rolled in, lightning crackling through the air. Thunder rumbled as an overwhelming force erupted from Gas's body.
"What's happening?" Gas exclaimed, dropping the unconscious Granolah and looking up at the sky, confused.
As he looked up, the thunder abruptly stopped.
At the same time, the dragon of Planet Cereal faded from view, its form dissolving into light. A golden beam shot up into the sky, splitting into two as the Dragon Balls flew off in opposite directions.
The sky began to clear, with sunlight once again bathing the planet.
Thud!
But no one expected what happened next—the one-star Dragon Ball flew straight toward Gas, smacking into Granolah's head before rolling to a stop on the ground.
What the hell? Gas thought, momentarily speechless.
The impact jolted Granolah awake, his head throbbing in pain.
"Hmm~" He groaned, opening his eyes to see the one-star Dragon Ball lying right in front of him.
"Dragon… Dragon Ball?"
Granolah was just as confused as Gas.
But he quickly came to his senses, opened his mouth, and swallowed the one-star Dragon Ball whole.
Humph, no one's taking this Dragon Ball from me this time.
But now he had to consider the implications. He had seen the dragon being summoned—if the Dragon Ball had flown away, it meant that Elec's wish had been fulfilled.
What wish did Elec make?
Granolah felt a surge of power within his body and struggled to sit up.
Gas, meanwhile, clenched his fists, feeling the immense, overwhelming power coursing through him. He remained silent for a long time.
Even without thinking too hard, he knew that Elec must have wished for him to become the strongest warrior in the universe.
But for some reason, he felt uneasy, as if he were on the brink of death.
Is it just an illusion?
But that discomfort was quickly overshadowed by the incredible abilities that had suddenly awakened within him.
Gas realized he could now teleport to any planet with life at will. He could hear sounds from deep space and sense powerful Ki from afar.
He felt that he could destroy anything with ease, including life itself.
He could even split his body into multiple clones.
It was as if the universe had shrunk, and his innate ability to manifest had reached an almost invincible level.
This power is beyond belief—so powerful it defies comprehension.
Gas had never imagined that a mortal could become this strong.
Before, I was so small and ignorant.
But now, with this power, I cannot lose.
Elec will soon ascend to the top of the universe, and the Heeter Family will become the most powerful force in existence.
For the first time in a long while, Gas, usually so cold and emotionless, grinned.
He looked at Granolah, who was struggling to stand, and glared at him with intensity.
Granolah, feeling dizzy from the overwhelming pressure, fainted again.
On the other side, Elec put his hands on his hips and laughed triumphantly. "Hahaha, it's done! Gas is now the strongest in the universe. Next, it's time for a major reshuffle of the universe. All those who resist will be eliminated."
"We only have two years… time is very tight."
Suddenly, the usually silent Oil spoke up. "Elec, do you think we could gather the Dragon Balls again and wish to extend Gas's lifespan?"
