Sorry Anna

"...our first son, Hudson right, walks up to you complaining terribly about his broken pencil and how badly he needs a new one, but you," I paused to look at Anna who was shyly smiling, "you Anna, start scolding the little boy for breaking over five pencils in less than a day, but I plead with you to get him another pencil after all you have a packet yet you refused and Hudson starts crying, crying and crying but that was only when you released another pencil, warning him severely about breaking it," I smiled. "But he still broke it."

There was mirthful laugh in the living room as I shared my dream with Anna; it was really a dream worth aspiration, getting married to Anna, having a child, a pretty, black boy like Hudson, living in a house as peaceful and beautiful like the ideation of my dream.

"These are dreams we wish to manifest Ann," I continued. "We seemingly lived happily, there wasn't any need for secrets anymore, we were happy." I forced my foot in a black lustrous canvas shoe.

Anna was still smiling when I raised my head from the shoe, her smile exuded of actual passion, her smile revealed the bright glints and sparking teeth that her lips hid.

"That's sweet." She finally said, dropping her head on my right shoulder, still smiling, furthermore disclosing the charming hollow dimples that appeared on her cheeks, "How much I fantasize these no one can tell." She shuddered, standing up from the sofa and straddling her backpack.

"Truthfully," I sighed. "I don't wanna go to school today." I laid on the couch.

"Why not?" Anna asked, squinting her face in a questioning facial expression.

"I don't know, a bit pessimistic."

But it wasn't pessimism anymore because it was not just a feeling, it was an established knowledge of what would happen today at school, I had utmost awareness that Anna would be hurt today.

Anna hissed. "Come on dude," Anna clutched my wrist. "You can't miss school because of a mere assumption; you don't have to, after all everything would be fine because we'd be together right?" Anna said, dragging me from my wrist out of the couch.

"Okay, okay mom, I hear ya." I smiled, jumping to my feet.

Anna hurried outside to the car, leaving me once more alone in the sitting room to torment myself with thoughts of the 'hereafter'.

"Henry!" Anna shouted.

I frantically combed my hair with all ten fingers, sighing nervously and running out with my bag.

"I'm here." I said, smiling as I walked inside the car.

"How are you feeling now? Optimistic?" Anna chuckled.

I pretended to smile.

"Maybe, I don't know."

"Well nothing bad is going to happen except," Anna paused, and laughed. "Except," She repeated, "Mrs. Olivia gives tremendous assignment, I mean, what's worse that?" Anna sniffled.

I laughed; it was more of scornful laugh than an actual one, 'wait till I leave you for Evie.' I shouted to myself.

"She gives impossible assignments, yeah." I replied.

"Who gon' deny the obvious?"

I smiled, hoping the conversation would just end, hoping, Anna would stop talking.

But she spoke again, "What d'you think about kite surfing Henry?"

"It's cool." I said, knowing not what she meant.

"So we should add it to the bucket list right?"

My eyes flared up immediately, doesn't she shut up? I wondered.

"No." I said, in a cursory kind of haste.

"But you said it's cool, it'd we so much fun, trust me."

"I don't care, damn the bucket list thingy already." I stolidly pronounced.

"Correct me if I'm wrong but you are the person Henry that initiated this idea isn't it, correct me if I'm wrong." Anna said, shooting glances at me occasionally.

"I relent okay, it's irrelevant." A lump immediately formed in my throat, my hands vibrated hysterically.

"Stupid of you to have brought it up albinitio." Anna hissed. "What's your problem?"

I ignored her, lunging my face to the side mirror, observing the way we zoomed off trees, vehicles, buildings in so much speed.

"So this is it right, not talking to me? This is what your pessimism is about huh?"

I ignored her again, still gluing my gaze outside the window, I focused on the cyclists that cycled without helmets, carrying back packs that seemed extremely full, I gazed at pedestrians that strode alon...

"You are not talking to me Henry!" Anna startled me, halting my panoramic observations.

Tears blurred my vision as Anna tried turning my head towards her while I struggled to hide my face from her, trying to hide my wrecked emotions, but amidst stifled whimpers I closed my eyes in reflection of what would happen when we get to school, the tears dropped, then streaked and now flowed.

"Are you crying?" Anna asked, finally turning my head towards her.

"I'm sorry." My voice wavered with emotions.

"Henry!" Anna took her hands from the steering wheel and placed them on my cheeks, massaging and wiping tears from my eyes as the car swerved uncontrollably.

"The car Anna!" I screamed as Anna hastily gripped the wheels.

I sniffled, dropping my head on the airbag, drying my eyes and nostrils with a handkerchief.

"What's going on with you Henry? Why are you crying?" Anna tenderly inquired, gripping the steering wheels with one hand and the other on my face.

"I can't say." I mumbled.

"Why not? What is it?"

"I-I-I" I groped for words to breathe to Anna but my brain appeared unusually vacant of satisfying responses, again, I turned my face away.

"For Pete's sake Henry what is it?" Anna asked in a crackly voice. Running her fingers through her hair.

I waved off her unnecessary guardianship and concern by wearing earphones over my ears and nodding slowly to the tunes of my well arrayed playlist.

I couldn't wait for Anna to halt the car, just as she slowed down in the parking lot I jumped out, hurrying to the class to speak to Evie, probably asphyxiate till hey eyelids close in death.

There I was; standing just by the entrance of my class, gazing at the pale skinned, sturdy male that dominated my seat, no wonder! I furrowed my eyes slowly towards Evie, disdainfully watching her wink perversely at me.

Exasperatingly stomping towards her, she pointed at an empty seat beside her; urging me to sit.

"I could kill you right you y'know." I enunciated through gritted teeth.

"Who's withholding the go-ahead?" She smirked.

"I hate you so flaming much, bitch!" The words spewed out from my lips as I cascaded down on the seat, sighing deeply.

ANNA'S POV

As I stepped down from the car my mind reflected back on Henry, why was he acting weird today? I wondered as I withdrew my backpack from the car and shut the door, well he's unusually strange today, from the curt replies and rude expressions to his avoiding my questions then his crying and now he is avoiding me, hurrying away from me like a five year old who had seen a monster.

"Hmm." I sighed, walking into the hallway.

I'd talk to him in class about it, I thought as I heard a voice pronouncing me name so audibly.

I turned towards the direction of the masculine familiar tone and there he was, there Lucas stood; smiling fondly at me.

"Hey," I forced a smile. "Luke, 'sup?"

"I'm chill, you?"

"Cool." I smiled, stroking a handle of my backpack.

"I missed you." Lucas said, still smiling.

There was something about his smile; it had a charm, a charming smile from a beautiful boy. There I was, giggling, blushing hardly at Lucas's words he missed me though I was sure it was one of the many boys' techniques to woo a girl but I was still giggling, giggling at Lucas.

"I don't even know what to say." I said, whilst laughing.

"Maybe the digits of your phone number." Lucas shrugged.

"There you go again," I laughed quickly. "Fine Lucas, meet me during recess okay." I said, trying to regain composure.

"Sure, see you soon Anna." Lucas gently pressed my shoulder and turned away.

I beamed, watching him sashay with such gait of a boy in his caliber.

It was already thirty seconds gone before I regained composure and walked to my class, on entering the class I noticed a few alterations in sitting positions, a white hardy boy had occupied Henry's seat, where is Henry?

I walked to my seat, gazing closely at my new seatmate.

"Hey." I gently tapped his shoulder. "You are in someone's seat." I said, stimulating a smile.

"No I'm not." He smiled at me.

"Sorry?" I cleared my throat, as if it would enhance my audition.

"Hi, I was assigned to this seat." He said, still smiling.

I gasped slightly in confusion. "I don't get you, who assi..." I gaze caught Henry's who was seating by Evie at the extreme of the class, hurriedly, he redirected his face.

My bag precipitated from my shoulders to the desk.

I walked to Henry. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Clearly sitting by me." Evie retorted, jestingly looking at me.

My glare was redirected from her and focused on Henry.

"Henry, I'm talking to you." My voice was unusually unsteady before I cleared my throat.

"What is it Anna?" Henry asked, turning his head to my face.

"Nothing, nothing, just come back to your seat." I said, shifting from his desk and standing behind him so he can easily move out, but he didn't stir.

Evie placed her arm around his neck, bringing his head to her thighs.

"Seriously?" I scoffed.

"Shut your mouth, my baby's tryna sleep." Evie shushed in a whisper-shout tone.

My fist was instinctively clenched tightly now, I glared at Evie in overwhelming rage, I was submerged in a strong feeling of aggravation, I contracted my muscles very tightly while glaring at Evie as she gently rubbed Henry's cheek then I lifted my hand and forcefully dropped it on Henry's groin as he groaned agonizedly. I stormed out of the class with an atomic sensation of pleasure as I heard Henry's cries.

Where I was raging to I hadn't an inkling of but I knew I was going to ease my mind from that morbid sight and there was my calming, charming darling.

Lucas stood by his locker tapping softly on his mobile phone.

I rushed to him, pushing him back as he collided with the locker and I heard his phone drop, leaning my lips in his, aggressively and violently sucking on his pinkish, soft lips, vigorously twisting and turning my tongue with his as he gently pressed my waist, I forcefully pushed him back to the locker and despairingly sucked on his neck, advancing on Lucas aggressively; biting and sucking his tongue, swapping enormous spit with him and feeling the protrusion beneath his pants gluing to my exposed laps, vitally I rubbed the bulge with my thighs.

After the sensual tussle with Lucas I embraced him closely, wetting his shirt with tears that streamed from my eyes, after retrieving equanimity I pulled back and landed a brain-storming slap on Lucas's cheek before running away, the tears on my eyes blurred my sight but there seemed to be a legion of students raising their phones to me.

I walked to the class and sank on my seat.

HENRY'S POV

Anna's eyes were crimson when she barged into the class and fell on her seat, I was observing her with an erupted feeling of anger and hate for myself, I knew I had caused it, I had made her cry, I shouldn't have complied to Evie's demands! Evie? I turned towards Evie who was nibbling pickles.

"Evie you are killing Anna." I cried.

"Oh, she dying?" Evie smirked.

"Don't be a psycho, you can't keep doing this to her, you ain't gaining anything." I said with an evident note of disgust at Evie's Mephistophelian sadomasochism, glaring furiously at her.

"How can you be so lovestruck with your own cousin for goodness' sake? You have sex with someone who is practically your sister Henry, and you are comfortable with it." Evie savaged fiercely.

"Evie for crying out loud it shouldn't bother you okay, you know nothing about us." I irefully muttered.

But on the contrary I was ashamed, drowned in the shame of my immorality.

"At least I know you are in an incestuous relationship which is disgusting from all indications." Her tone was soothing but her words were ravaging.

"You know what I think Evie, you are not doing this to imbibe morality or punish us for our sins Evie, you are simply obsessed, and clearly you are engrossed with me to the point of being such a typical sadist." I whispered, shifting my gaze to Anna; her countenance was eased now, she was smiling, talking, being happy with the boy on my seat.

"Darling. I'm not punishing you for anything and I'm not obsessed with you either, the thing is that the truth about you and Anna is irksome and I can't withstand the whole thing, believe me, when James, James your cousin, he told me, when I heard you and Anna were cousins I didn't care until I saw you both kiss, I was irritated."

Everything she said made no sense to me; I was wondering why she can't mind her business.

"What if I promise you we'd end the relationship if you let me tell you the truth?"

"Nah, you and Anna would definitely get back on, I can't agree to that."

It's my life to life! I nearly shouted

"I promise." I said phlegmatically.

"Not happening." Evie smiled.

I fumed at Evie slightly.

"So when do you intend to let me go?"

"Only when you both forget each other."

I scoffed. "Evie how would you want me to make you understand that it's not happening." I slowly enunciated.

"It won't?" Evie turned her face towards Anna, "Look at her having such a great time with Frost but here you are cry..."

Mrs. Olivia (Physics Professor) walked in with her ever-nerdy glasses, sauntering with so much gait.

"Everyone cut the chatter!" She roared as the class instantaneously embodied silence. "Now where were we...?" She turned to the whiteboard

***

Evie's lips were on my cheeks as we strode along the hallway, shutters from her phone clouded my ears as she placed her lips from my cheeks to my lips, to my forehead and to my nose, forcing me to smile.

School was dismissed and I couldn't sight Anna, she was supposed to take me back, she came with a car but Evie discarded my attempt to search for her, offering me a ride back home though I agreed after, of course an argument."

"I'm starving." I cried as we walked to the parking lot.

"I think I have something you can eat," Evie hurriedly opened the car, handing me a carton of cheeseburger and a can of Cola.

"I don't wanna be with you, ever." I hangrily snatched the food from her, bumping into the car, "And you are taking me home." I stole a bite of the burger.

"Sure, but not right now." Evie smiled lasciviously at me.

"We are in school," I warned through bloated cheeks, "and even if we weren't, it won't happen."

"You'd come to my house then."

I poured a good quantity of the Cola drink in my mouth.

"Not happening." I said sotto voce, swallowing my masticated cheeseburger.

"Baby, please." Evie crooned.

I gasped. "No way you called me baby right now, like we're not even together okay, I have a girlfriend geddit?"

"How d'you even summon such temerity to come to church, like bringing your perverted, immoral self to God?" Evie sallied.

"Don't think you're any better." The last bite of the cheeseburger sank in my stomach as I savored the remaining gulp of my Cola drink.

"I am, honestly I am." Evie said, dashing into the driver's seat.

"You are not, you-are-a-molester," I enunciated very slowly like I was teaching her pronunciations. "You are a sadist, so egocentric that I wonder if you have a conscience at all."

"Oh I do have a conscience and that's why I'm doing what I'm doing darling." Evie swerved out of the school lot.

"That's not the way home Evie." I sedately said to her.

"It is, it's the way to my home."

"What! I'm not going to your house bitch, let me out!" I shouted stomping the door with my feet."

"Chill babe." Evie winked.

"You know this is fucking kidnap right!" I shouted still kicking the door.

After I had vented my spleen, I calmed down and dropped my head on the headrest of Evie's coupe, speculating her words, my hair was scattered all over my face and strands moved as I breathed hastily, my armpit itched from the bomber jacket I wore accompanied with my now ruffled black cargo pants, I pulled off my stockings from the black sneakers, placing my legs on the air bag.

It irritated me to realize I was being coerced to do something I least expected to do in my life, I was irked by Evie's blackmail, what intensified my rage was the cognizance of how hurt Anna was.

"I love you Henry." Evie blushed as she whispered.

"So?" I retorted. "I don't like you back, I have feelings okay, at least respect that."

"I'm sorry, maybe I'm a bit inconveniencing, She sighed, "but it's all for the best Henry."

"A bit inconveniencing?" I repeated, "Evie you are worse than inconveniencing, you are scary, you are horrible Evie, moreover," I pulled myself up right, "I simply don't understand why Anna and I should bother you so much." I hissed.

"I understand, it shouldn't but it is, I can't help it Henry," She paused and looked at me. "Maybe you are right, maybe I'm obsessed with you, maybe you are turning me to a psychopath Henry, it's just something I myself doesn't understand, it's more than love Henry." Evie soberly explained.

"We could be something Evie, you and I; we could be friends, then only th..."

"No! I wanna be more than friends Henry, don't you geddit? I love you Henry."

"Love is not an individual thing and we'd never fall in love if it's under duress, it'd only compound my hate for you Evie, these things happen naturally." I soothed.

"Hmm," Evie sighed, "here we are." She veered into a large, impressive mansion, halting the car by the decorative fountain that edified the ambiance.

"Welcome to my home." Evie said as she stepped down from the car, running round and opening the door for me.

Hastily I wore my stockings and put back my feet in its sneakers.

"I never wanted to be here." I said, concealing my amazement.

I stepped down from the car, meeting the sole of my shoes with the tilled terrace.

"No harm in saying hi." Evie quipped. "Come on."

The house was stolid except for the beautiful crooning of invisible birds and the swaying of leaves from their branches.

Evie softly held my hand, smiling amiably as I observed the house, I noticed a man peeping from the quarter by the far right of the house, his face was obscured with dark sun shades, I nodded in admiration of the edifice, the glass conservatory with wooden benches and a table by the left close to the playground caught my fancy, such houses in Nigeria are rare, I thought.

As we advanced to the house I noticed the glamour the flowerbeds gave to the porch.

Evie pushed open the door as we walked inside the living room, the living room was chilly from the consistent transmutation of humidity from the climate control, I shuddered in cold; biting my teeth, I was so engrossed with admiring the interiors that I did not realize people were seated in the sofas, watching the television.

"I'm home." Evie pecked the woman who was smiling sweetly at me, a woman probably in her late sixties.

"See you brought a friend?" She asked still smiling at me.

"Hi." I waved at the woman, glancing at the three children that sat very close to her; the only boy amongst them was enthusiastically gazing at the television while the two girls threw quick occasional glances at me."

"No mom, Henry is not just a friend, this is my boyfriend," She turned and smiled at me. "Henry."

Her introduction shocked me like the embrace of an electric transformer, I least expected her fronting me as her boyfriend, least expectedly to the woman she called 'mom'.

"Hi," I forced a smile. "I-I'm Henry." I glared at Evie.

"Aww, come here my boy." The woman let out a very pleasant grin like she had been anticipating this moment.

I walked to her as she energetically kissed my forehead and rubbed my chin.

"You are welcome Henry, I'm Martha," She smiled. "Here this is Howard my grandson and my other grandchildren- Ella and Diane."

Grandchildren? Had Evie given birth?

"Hi." I greeted, smiling.

"Hey." They responded in unison

"So Henry, for how long have you been dating Evie?" Mrs. Martha asked,

My heart was about to skip the third beat when Evie spoke.

"Over a month now." She quickly responded.

"Really? That's nice," She paused to let saliva go down her throat. "Where are you from Henry?"

"Africa." I said, closely watching her countenance for a change, but her unperturbed expression didn't stir.

"Have a seat Henry, feel at home." Mrs. Martha simpered.

"Sure." I gently walked to the sofa beside her.

"Mom I need Henry upstairs, sorry, Henry?" Evie held my wrist.

"Oi, okay Henry, see ya latter."

I smiled and walked away with Evie.

"So what was that?" I grumbled.

"What was what?" Evie carelessly asked as we climbed the stairs.

"I'm not your boyfriend okay, I'd never be." I said.

"Did you notice how happy my mother was, she has never seen a better dude." Evie threw the door to a well femininely furbished room open.

"So? It's always a you, you thing, I don't have any feelings for you Evie, I don't make friends with psychopaths." I walked into the room, observing the paintings and pictures on the walls. "Whose kids are those?" I curiously asked.

"My sister, she's abroad with her husband." Evie replied, hurling her shoes from its legs.

"Why did they leave their kids?" I realized I was being a bit more intrusive than I had planned.

"She went on a couple thingy with her husband, but they'd be back soon, this week."

"Hmm," I heaved quietly. "I wanna go home Evie." A short sternly glance was just what I shot at her.

"You just got here; can I get you a drink or something?" Evie tilted her head to the left.

"Maybe you can get me something else."

"Which is?" Evie asked.

"Well, get me away from here!" I shouted muffedly

"Nice one." Evie laughed.

I tried resisting the urge to look at her skimpy panties as she took off her pants, her breasts in a brassiere emerged as she removed her top, I stood there; unmoving. Girls this endowed are seldom, Evie walked to her door and shut it, grinning waywardly as she walked towards me; dropping me on the bed and unfastening my jacket, twiddling with my abdominals.

Her legs spread above my groin giving me a sensation of sensual enthusiasm, slowly and steadily she strode the protrusion in my pants and instinctually I gripped her curvaceous buttocks, squeezing and pressing it gently as she pulled down my pants and underpants making my already stimulated organ jump out as she stuck it in her already damp vagina, thrusting up and down while she softly moaned.

Soon the pace increased, the pounding got energized, and Evie was groping my neck in excitement as I unbuckled her bra and her succulent breasts came hanging over my face, forcing me to take the erected nipples in my mouth.

"Ohm." Evie moaned as I twiddled with her nipple.
