Chapter Thirteen_Wild Goose Chase

For days, news of the murder was broadcast repeatedly on all the local t.v stations, with the attractive sum of ten thousand dollars, presented as reward by the Fourth Bay Police Station, for anyone with good information.

"Seems they are really desperate this time," She thought, not fazed at all.

Soon they'ld find something new to talk about, or keep harping on the murder(s) until their viewers cried out in painful boredom.

She began the last round of her sit-ups, ignoring her body's audible squeaks of exhaustion.

She had to stay very fit for her type of job.

Many have died because they wouldn't take care of their bodies.

Soon she finished and rose up, panting heavily with chest heaving.

As she towel-dried her profusely sweating body, she thought of all the nice things she could do during her vacation, that wouldn't have anything to do with exercise.

She smirked as her thoughts ran wild.
