The Ultimate Sacrifice
Years ago, Hugo was no one but a spare for his brother. He was simply viewed as the twin who should not exist. The man whose existence was purely out of luck. He was no one. Not even an ounce important.
So, he made a name for himself. Established himself as a professional, an educated man, a genius whose talents should not be wasted or tethered by royal duties. He had his goal and he worked to achieved them. He managed things and spoiled his brother rotten.
In hindsight, that's where the problem started. He spoiled him too much.
Now, he asks for the most ruthless and most selfish favor he had ever heard in his entire life.
He smiled sadly. All those years, he endlessly did things to help his brother get the life he wanted. He did everything he was asked to, regardless whether Hugo wants to or not
He took a deep breath, letting the silence inside his father's office stir for a while.
