The Thoughts
Hugo raised his head when he heard his phone rang. H grabbed it and saw Jacques calling. He sighed. If this would be questions again, he will lose his fucking shit.
He gently eased Eggroll out of his lap and stood up to go to the balcony and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
He eyed the dark surroundings, filled with lights all over their home, silent and how innocent it was for incidents happening lately, even the moon felt like aware. The dim light of the moon centered his face and he glued his eyes as he listened to whatever Jacques has to say.
"Bonjour, Hugo. J'espère que je ne vous dérange pas?" /Hello, Hugo. I hope I am not bothering you right now?/
Hugo shrugged, "Non, non. ça va. Je peux vous aider?" /No, no. It's alright. Can I help you?/
He heard him intake a deep breath before answering, "Je voulais juste savoir comment tu allais" /I just wanted to how are you doing/
