The One Call Away

Darren stared at the paper he's holding. He was just sitting in their living room late at night. An hour after they have arrived from places he went with Hugo throughout the night. Hugo had stayed in one of the guest rooms because his parents insisted he stay the night considering how exhausted he may be.

He had eaten his dinner silently while Hugo conversed with his parents. They asked if they have any progress which is too hard to explicitly answer because there are seconds where Darren thinks they have gotten nowhere.

But Hugo had answered smoothly and assured them they'll be able to find his brother in no time. Which Darren had hoped so.

And now, he settled on the living room while all the people in the house are already sleeping in their own rooms. He had thought going on his bedroom but he felt his chest constricted and he wanted a lot of room to breathe once he really tries to call the number Alexandra gave them.
