Inside the Facility 8

In another room where the laboratory take place, many monitors has been displayed. They carefully watched the behavior of each creature. One could actually recognized Mandy since she's the different appearance. Her body feature as a human never been changed unlike the other creature in that place.

"How many days left?" the head of the research team asked.

"It's about 2 weeks from now, Dr. William" the assistant said as he was checking in his computer.

"We should move in another level, we should met our goal before that time comes" he commanded before leaving the room.

A gloomy atmosphere was around him. Dr. William has been assigned to this project ever since the government started the research facility. All of the things they've done niether animals to humans, he've witness it all. All the deaths of his subjects never affect him, as if he became numb at all things.

But, today it was different, he want to finish it already. The day they brought the newest subject, his mind couldn't take away from the face of the subject. He recognized her, she was the only person which her sister want to protect.

His sister was Mandy's childhood friend. His sister's companion everytime when she's all alone in their home was her, since their house was near in each other. She treat her like her older sister. But, as soon as they grow up, they separated.

As her sister grow older, her sister got curious on what job he was doing. Until her sister discovered his work, she decided to help him. Luckily they were both brilliant people, and both work in the lab facility. Her sister was assigned in different area so they usually had a small chance to see each other.

Remembering the day her sister come at him and plead to help her friend. He never expect this would happen, usually he never really cares except for his sister. She was his only family left in him, so he cherish her so much. He also want to keep her sister away in his work but his sister was so persistent, so he let her in the end.

He couldn't chose properly since it was his contract to this project, as well as the safety of her sister is at stake. So, he decided to continue his work and succeed the project.

He arrived at a room where her sister staying. She was on her table, gliding her hands at the keyboard. Her attention was on her computer, analyzing each of data she had. It was about the genitic engineering, she was carefully analyzing her calculations and data.

"Wendy, have a rest for now. We've already confirmed her status was stable so no need to worry that much" Dr. William said to his little sister. He tap her shoulder to get her attention. He saw how worried her sister was and how stress she was now. She was doing her best to help his brother secretly when she was available. She just wish she was on his brother's field of work to look closely on Mandy's progress. She know that his brother decided to continue his work for her, so she decided to help Mandy to keep her alive whatever it take her.

"Thank you brother, I woudn't know what will happen without you" they really look for each other ever since they started to work in the facility even they have different assignment.

His brother take her place, she then take a rest in her bedside in the room.

"Don't worry too much sis, we'll make it.I'm sure of it" his brother promised her. That made Wendy feel at ease for the first time. She already read Mandy's progress too, which will lead soon to their success.

As soon as he saw his sister's peaceful sleep, he immediately continue his sister's work.
