Creation King

Eons ago, a prophet of the four horned demon sailed into the land of Alibod. He was once a scholar that hailed from a mighty empire, but fallen long ago. As he spread his teachings, his worshippers begin to linger throughout the feudalistic tribes, hiding among the shadows. When the day struck noon, the moon enveloped the world into darkness, where they’ve begin their assault. Each and every demonic worshipers became the foul beast which preyed upon humanity, losing their minds to the dark lord. The world of man tried to resist against the encroaching darkness, but none lived to tell the tale. When all of hope was lost, the twelve crusaders arise from the shadows of war. Each of them carried divine artifacts bestowed to them by the gods. They began to liberate city after city, bolstering their numbers wherever they went. Upon the final battle between the prophet and the crusaders, the dark army were quickly annihilated as the soldiers who joined the crusaders quest to rid the demons from the land. In the final words of the prophet, he said: “Thou won for Gaia’s bounty! Upon thy death, cometh the twelve plagues be ‘flicted! Tenebris shall take my place, to bring forth the four horns of doom!” He then deteriorated into a skeleton, with his ashes scatter throughout the world. With the War of Faith concluded, the twelve begin to settle the ruins of the land, establishing their own kingdoms to restore peace. Each of the crusaders were awarded by their gods with the saints blood, bestowing them divine blessings, should they ever need to use the divine gift against the demon lord. Chapter 8: Productive Resource

As the ceremony ended, Duine was about to skim the list he needed to do, until both of his newly established retainers made their suggestion.

"My lord, could I trouble you in teaching the arcane crafts? It would be beneficial to increase your mana." Anicetus offered.

Hademar pushed aside him as he made his suggestion.

"Ignore the wizard, you should train with me. I'll make you the greatest warrior the world will ever see."

His bold statement angered Anicetus, who asked to teach Duine first. It was one thing to rudely interrupt him, it was another to steal a talented student.

"Strength is useless without knowledge. It's a universal fact that without the mind, there can be no actions." The mage proclaimed.

It seem to caught Hademar's attention as he throw a glare at him.

"It could also be said the same thing that without strength, then what good is knowledge for, other than being a mere puppet for others to use?"

Crap, Anicetus thought. It seem this meat head isn't just good with a sword, but he's a silver tongue. It will be hard to duel with him in words, especially when swordsman stubbornness is that of a raging bull.

Still, the battle has just begun for the right to tutor Duine in his craft. He could not back down.

"How is it useless when I'm teaching him to use magic. He can annihilate hundreds of thousands of men with a flick of his finger, whereas your flimsy sword play can deal with a rodent at best." Anicetus mocked.

"You want to brawl!?" Hademar threaten. He finally pulled an ultimatum, which he leak out a sinister aura throughout the garden.

Anicetus smirked as he readies his staff. He let out a malicious aura that too exurbs throughout.

"Enough! There's more important matters for me to attend than settling my matters as a student. In the end, only I decide which lesson to choose." Duine proclaimed. The last thing he want is to let these war dogs go loose. Especially when they could tear the count yard easily.

As of now, the most important agenda he needs to fulfill is creating a production of resources. After all, everything needs resources to not only to maintain his city, but also gives value to a new economy.

The main issue is that it needs manpower. Sure, he could create all the material with a snap of his finger. However, should keep doing it every time something runs out, people would start to wonder where it comes from.

Which is why Apollo pitched in the idea of creating golems solely for production. Since there's no population, it effectively eliminates the need to establish a bureaucracy to maintain civil order and to not have to worry of declining resources for individual needs.

In fact, it's the best time to start a stockpile so that by the time Duine does acquire citizens, he would be more prepared to prevent shortages in the coming future.

When Duine was about to pop out his creation, he heard a loud "CLINK" behind him.

It seem Anicetus levitated a small rock above Hademar and dropped it on him. Hademar turned around and was about to punch him. Though it may seem too excessive, the punch seem to be non threatening despite pounding on Anicetus head.

This made Duine realize something he overlooked.

There is a concern for maintenance for every object. In the face of mother nature, no man made structure could ever withstand against it.

Though the golems are a different from average buildings, they're created by materials nonetheless.

Duine thought about it for a moment as he blankly stare at the top of the projection screen:

Direct objective:

- Create 20,000 soldier golems.

- Create 10,000 farmer golems.

Optional:

- Attend a social event.

- Create ore dispenser.

- Establish population.

- Start education.

Then, an idea came as he read across the 'Create ore dispenser.'

He could create a factory solely for producing golems. Although he could create the golems, what if the golems themselves were to break down? They're not like Hademar or Anicetus, who were highly leveled.

These autonomous golems would not need to think anything else, other than fulfilling their creators wishes.

After all, he priorities efficiency over all aspects to ensure prosperity throughout his realm.

Besides, should the people question where these golems come from, they would have one clue to point at; Duine himself.

"Apollo, can I create the golems other than making them on the spot?" He asked.

Apollo pondered for a second, until it hits him. He immediately understood Duine's intentions.

"Indeed my lord. It is by your will if you wish to do so." Apollo gleefully answered.

Duine wondered why Apollo didn't mentioned this, but he could summarize that Apollo is created to act as advisor, and nothing else for the matter.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? I want to find a place to establish my first factory!" Duine then walked out of the garden as his retainers followed him curiously.

As much as the two warriors wish to explore his estate, they prioritize Duine's protection above all else. It seems too excessive considering that there's not a single living soul on the island.

Then again, they just want to follow him since he's more familiar with the island than they are.

As they reached out to the palace, the morning rays greeted Duine and his entourage as flew above the city.

Obviously, Duine used a spell, whereas Apollo floats in the first place.

The newcomers at the other hand seem to be slightly odd. Anicetus flew naturally, but Hademar need his assistance to levitate.

Although he first insisted that he could run and jump as fast as they flew, Anicetus ignore his boast as he took him regardless. For reasons, Duine speculated that he want to use him as a meat shield.

As they looked around for a plot of land to use,

Duine went out of the city walls, where the land remained empty.

The trees seem to be a lot isolated since the island expansion where the grass freely grew from the shadows.

When they settled themselves along the plains, it seem a lot smoother than the mountainous city Duine ruled.

Aside from the river flowing, everything else is dictated by the wind direction.

Duine then clasp his hands together as he concentrated the creation of the golem factory.

He started with the ore dispenser. Each of these machines prioritize in producing ores out of thin air, ranging from ordinary rocks to valuable metals like mithril or adamantium. They will then travel by a conveyor belt system to be divided to two sections. The first will be sent to a large storage facility, which separates the materials into respective areas. They will be stored until they're sent to another storage, where they'll be used for various things.

The second conveyor will prioritize in creating golems. They're separated in three quality of ores, which determines their leveling. Not only that, but once the materials are separated, they're then divided into two roles. One prioritize civilian industries, such as farming, building, and operating. The other prioritize militarize industry to create an army, arsenals, and equipment.

Each had different enchantments and rune carvings embedded to the golems in their specific roles.

When Duine finally opened his eyes, a massive factory appeared. Both of his guards opened the complex giant doors as he entered the facility. He was thankful for the otaku's channel surfing as he marveled the new machinery being presented in this world.

Duine walked to the ore dispenser as Apollo watched. The lever is used to allow the machine to create the ores, with ease of control.

"Want to do the honors?" He asked.

Apollo looked at Duine baffled by his statement. He does realize he had no hands to operate the machinery.

Thus, Duine turned to machine on, and the factory came to life.
