Chapter 7: Guard Masters

"You'll need to go to the mainland. Your mission is to reconnaissance as much intel as you can. You'll probably wouldn't have a hard time since most of the information you'll find are in the big cities. Keep in mind though, you're still a golem, so I'll give you a module to keep you out of sight." Duine stated as he then lend out his hand, producing a small chip.

When Tyr heard that he's given a module, he knew what he meant. Though he wasn't sure if Duine created them intentionally, he felt that there was an empty space within himself.

Duine grabbed Tyr as he then insert the square disk into Tyr forehead. With that complete, Tyr can turn invisible at will.

Apollo hovered near Duine as Tyr gave the module a go.

So far, he was able to remain invisible the entire time while performing movement and analyzing functions.

"When do I start?" Tyr asked.

"After I create the warriors. I still need your insight to create a higher quality golem." Duine then create a finished sketch of the swordsman and mage.

The swordsman depicts a golden crimson armor, which merges a dragon with a lion's mane. It wore a brown long sword scabbard behind its back while wielding a darken silver sword.

Meanwhile, the arcane mage purple cloak is covered in golden strains the is seen to sewn a flower, or perhaps a grove as the waving strains continues to cover one after another. It wielded what seems to be a large blue gemstone attached to the staff. Perhaps one would mistaken it to be a cultist in a distance, but would revealed to be an arch mage of it's caliber.

Apollo and Tyr seem to be satisfied with the design as they compliment the art piece.

"Excuse my earlier transgressions, my lord. It would seem you thought of a bigger picture than intended." Tyr soften his tone.

"It's quite a marvelous work of art, if I do say so myself. Not that I doubt his taste in edgy appearances, but I think it should be a little bit more appealing out in public." Apollo hint of distain is merged with his genuine compliments.

Duine looked at Apollo. Although he created him to cover the important stuff within his capabilities, perhaps he might have created him to be too hypocritical in total necessity.

"These warriors reflect on their behavior. I don't suppose I should do the talking when these two are literally the gems in every person eyes. Besides, their equipment looked more honest themselves than what a typical house guard would." Duine stated as he the begins to stretch his hands.

He then holds them out as he concentrated in their creation, materializing them from thin air.

The first to finish materializing was the arcane mage, whereas the second is the armored swordsman. The terrifying aura exhibits from the two causes all three of them to back as far as they could. Duine seem to be the only one hesitating as he must have expected it to be this overwhelming.

The warriors both fell on their knees as they kneel towards Duine.

There was a moment of pause between the newcomers and Duine's entourage, but Duine broke the silence.

"What are your names?" Duine asked.

They both remained silent, until the mage looked up with his arm at his chest.

"We are warriors ready to serve our creator. It is by your will if you wish to bestow a name for us." He said as he genuflect once again. The voice of the mage sounded more formal, as well as that of an aged sage.

Perhaps it's what Duine expected, but he was surprise the ease of commanding two master rank warriors. Surely they might have some degree of ego as they're more powerful than he is. Especially when the sword master is literally the embodiment of pride.

"Don't you two think I'm a little too weak to be consider your lord?" He asked

It was a natural response since great warriors would either serve themselves or be employed by great houses. Whether by prestige or wealth, the nobility would sought out to recruit them to have an additional militaristic powerhouse for them to rely on.

It wasn't to say that the nobility couldn't become strong themselves, but they're main role is to act as figure heads within their domain. Nevertheless, their circumstances still varies.

"Although you may be a child, you're still our creator nonetheless. We wish to swear our allegiance to you. May we be blessed to know your name?" The mage set his staff aside himself as he awaited him to be knighted under the Causatrie banner.

"My name is Duine. Baron Duine Causatrie.

Tyr moved next to Apollo, who seemed to be more at ease than he was.

"Aren't they extremely illogical? They do realize our lord is as weak as a feather compare to them? Honestly, I would't be surprised if they betray him the first chance they get." Tyr murmured. It seem he may have spoke too loud as the swordsman was about to unsheathed his long sword.

"And which fool dare to accuse disloyalty to our lord?" The swordsman spoked. He remained silent the entire time, observing from the sidelines.

However, the moment he heard not only slander upon himself, but also the child who created them, the entire room could hear a tightening crack from the armored warrior as he stared at Tyr. Perhaps it was by natural instinct, but the atmosphere seem to get hotter by the second.

Tyr alarms went off in berserk the moment he moved his hand to his sword. His logical intuition tells him to back off immediately.

"I apologize, but I have to fulfill an important task given by our lord! Please excuse me!" Tyr immediately turned around and flew as fast as he could while turning invisible.

With that, he left the island.

"Hmph." The swordsman drew his blade as he walked in front of Duine.

He then turned the blade sideways towards the child as he kneels.

"Please excuse my earlier hostilities. Such snide remarks will not be tolerated towards you. Accept my fealty and I shall slay all those who oppose you, lord Duine." With that, he bow his head as he raised his sword to him.

Duine grabbed the sword. He wasn't too familiar with knighting ceremonies, especially ones that's right off the bat. However, it would be rudely odd to do nothing.

"Do you swear an oath to serve the realm and its lord?"

"I swear." He replied

Duine laid the blade on the swordsman shoulder. And he did the same for the other shoulder.

"Then, I hereby declare you knight of Causatrie. Henceforth, your name shall be Hademar Olbrich."

Duine then turned to the arcane mage, in the same position as before.

"Do you swear an oath to serve the realm and its lord?" He questioned again.

"I swear." The mage answered.

"From this moment on, I hereby declare you the court mage of Causatrie. Henceforth, your name shall be Anicetus Uritinus." Thus the ceremony ended.

Duine had a hard time picking names from the various word banks he knew from the other world. Although he could settle with a common tongue, he wanted them to be extremely unique. Besides, should he name them from his homeland, people would question their origins.

He will have a long day to organize his schedule as he goes through the quest list.
