Chapter 6: Sunrise Progress

The next morning, Duine woke up on a king sized bed. As extravagant as it is, he felt that the room feels too empty despite all the fancy furniture flourishing.

He proceeds to clean himself as he prepare his attire to begin the day.

He wore basic clothing, similar to a typical commoner, since there's barely anyone to judge his etiquette.

As he open the balcony, he climes over the edge.

"[Fly]" Duine jumped off as he glide down towards the court yard. He then shouted the objects names.

"Tyr! Apollo!"

He waved at the two as they chatter about.

Both the cube and orb looked up as they wait their master to fall down.

"Get down here! We need this issue resolved if we are going to get things done!" Apollo yelled. The high pitched scream startled Duine as he loses his focus on flying.

He splashed into the fountain, creating a rippled tidal wave.

He then crawl out of the fountain where his two assistants stare at him. They probably snickered, but he couldn't tell from their mechanized statics.

"Great… You do know it's a lot harder for me to concentrate my mana to keep the [Fly] spell together. You should've seen me when I build the entire city!" Duine stood up and wipe his face with his own shirt.

"And yet, here what transpired of our lord, flustered flush in a fountain. I have no doubt that you're capable of such feats, especially with your incredible mana capacity." Apollo then turn to Tyr as they begin to synchronize again.

"Your lack of experience is the fault of your own. Although you may have such potential to become the greatest man of the world, you still lacked the necessary quality's to become one." Tyr remarked.

Though it was point on, the last thing Duine want was to be criticized the obvious flaws he realized long ago.

Apollo then open his projection screen.

"As of this moment, here are the things we should do." He happily said.

As stated in the projection:

Direct objective:

- Lv.50 Swordsman creation.

- Lv.50 Arcane Mage creation.

Optional:

- Create 20,000 soldier golems.

- Create 10,000 farmer golems.

- Create ore dispenser.

- Establish population.

- Attend a social event.

- Begin education.

And the list goes on.

Duine paused at the main two objectives. Though they had discuss what they intended to fulfill, he wondered if it was necessary to catch his attention.

Though, he might second thought these kind of things, he felt that there could be something more important than what he's capable of.

"I know that look, you seem to doubt all my little list for you to do. I'll have you know I'm created to verify your current state and how to improve yourself. Do not neglect these quest, for its vital to start civilization." Apollo looked with pride.

Though there might be something eye catching for Duine to do, every thousand steps start with one. Especially since he had a whole island to run.

"So, if I finish the current objective, will there be a new mission for me to fulfill or will the list be replaced with the optional quest?"

"The latter! Although…" Apollo paused for a brief second. This somewhat gotten Duine mood down since he wish to cover as much strategy as he could think of to gain more advantage should he ever face a predicament.

"I'll update quest list based upon the urgency on the mission, so you shouldn't worry about it." Apollo finished his statement as Tyr waited them at the yard.

"You two, quit fooling around! Duine, come here and decide what kind of swordsman and arcane mage you should make!" He yelled.

Perhaps Tyr was being too impatient, but his tone suggest he's too excited. He could hardly wait for a lv.50 warriors to appear.

As Duine and Apollo came over, they realized something.

Just what kind of warrior should they create?

It was easy enough to give it a sword to make a swordsman, but what about the overall skills it should use and what appearance does it have?

It takes more than swinging swords to be considered a ability.

As Duine ponder about this, Apollo looked at him as he begin to ask a question.

"How about using the kingdom's model?" He asked.

Though Duine lived most of his life within the kingdom, he had never seen militarized soldiers other than his former family's knight retainers.

He pondered for a moment, until he began speaking.

"Although it may have some merits, it just conflicts with existing soldiers. Each noble houses have their own design just as their family crest are, am I correct, Tyr?"

"Indeed my lord. Although the detail may not really be as important, considering of your position, it should be safe to assume that it may conflict with prestige, since there might be an iconic resemblance of our troops from others." Tyr stated as he tilted his cubed head body.

As the golems begin to argue what design should it become, Duine started to create a sheet of paper on a clipboard and a pencil.

He knew that the Lv. 50 swordsman is acting as his trump card should he ever be in trouble.

Though he may have the divine skill of creation, it could hardly be of any use in an immediate battle if he couldn't properly use it.

The warrior should be heavily armored. Since it's a golem, they tend have high defenses. It makes sense to equip it, as the public would only view the swordsman defense is contributed with stronger armor.

It should be able to talk, since the golem rival masters of any class in the field. It would be weird if a celebrity never speaks at all. Especially when they're most desirable to society.

And finally, the sword should be a heavy weapon, since golems are strong enough to lift it. It compliments the heavy attack it uses to penetrate the opponent's defenses, as well as delivering a killing blow.

As Duine finishes listing what the golem should use, He begin sketching. Though he could create a complete design by a flick of his fingers, he wanted to see if whether or not if he wanted to change his mind on some parts before settling in with his advisors.

When he finishes his sketch, it only came out as a roundish doodle. It was then Duine realized that the two golem stopped arguing as they view his drawing.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Tyr burst out laughing.

"What a childish doodles! I'm glad I could see our lord's creativity with my very eye!"

Apollo seem to smirk as he couldn't contain his gibberish giggling. That is, if he had a face since he's just an orb.

"Duine is talented in his own right, but right now he's a child. Give him some time to improve himself. I'm sure he'll manage."

Duine flipped the paper over the board. Although he prioritize his focus in designing his first swordsman, he felt his pride took a beating.

He moved on to the arcane mage design.

The mage should carry a staff, since it's strong enough to lift a boulder.

It should conceal itself in a ritualistic robe, since the mage will be seen as a insane wizard, dedicated to the mystic arts.

And finally, it should be more intelligent than the swordsman, capable of not only speech, but also decipher any spells to improve his combative strategy.

As Duine begin to draw a 'doodle' hooded figure, he remembered something that he had to do.

"Tyr, how much do you know about this world?"

Tyr straighten up as he felt the sinister chill he had last night, back when they explore the hallways.

"No… Why you ask?" Tyr stared at Apollo, looking for aid.

However, Apollo knew better than to get involved. Apollo knew the moment Tyr lacked insight on a grander scale.

'I'm rooting for you buddy.' Apollo gave a thumbs up to him as Tyr sobbed.
