Birsha
I reach the door and first see Alexia on the ground covered in blood with a sword made of pure iron through her chest. I look up and see that across the table I see Shikari in her demon form. Lika is now in control as her eyes flicker. In front of her is a vampire who I can tell was one of the ones we captured before. At first my heart sank thinking she was in trouble and now I see he is the one who is about to get her wrath. She waves her hand as a dome of fire surrounds them both. I hear the vampire scream in pain as she allows her own flames to grow.
“Shikari… Come back to me…” I send her through the connection as she shudders.
“He killed her… she could have been our mate Birsha. Even if she wasn't, she was a friend and lover.” Her voice was filled with hurt and sadness and I knew that the pain she was in would take a while to heal.
