Morning came and the sad lily was still present, she woke up around six thirty in the morning while Chris still slept since he went to bed quite late. She went to the bathroom and took off her clothes to get into a warm shower, she must have stood under the shower for ten minutes motionless like a zombie with nothing going on in her head.

She held her tummy to feel her baby, she wondered how far along she was already, her tummy was still flat so she must be less than three months pregnant. She continued on with her shower then got out brushed her teeth and put on a robe to head to the kitchen. She sat down and laid her head on the kitchen table and closed her eyes, tears flowed out again she absolutely could not keep the baby. Eric won't allow her to keep the baby he might even kill her as well for getting pregnant by someone else.

Lily was back in Eric's victim zone, fear and worry took over her mind and body, nothing else could make her want to keep the child. She thought of sneaking out and going to see a doctor to see if she could get rid of it immediately. With that idea floating in her head, she went back to the bedroom to take a jean and T-shirt and converse shoes to go out. She called one of the guards to accompany her to a doctor nearby.

They managed to leave without alerting Chris and got to a small surgery that was about four blocks away from where she stayed, the surgery opened at eight thirty so they had to wait in the car for about fifteen minutes til they opened.

She watched the entrance quietly through the window and hoped that Chris wouldn't wake up and realize that she's gone out, he might come and stop her and there was no way that she could let him do that. Luckily for her the time to open up came and two doctors and their receptionist unlocked the doors to start off the day. She opened the door for herself and got out and hurried towards the entrance without looking back at the car.

The receptionist was a sweet young lady in her early twenties just like her, she greeted Lily and asked if she was there by appointment or not. Lily replied no and that she was there to consult early because it was an emergency. "Mam please take a seat I'll inform the doctor that you're here" the receptionist said in a polite manner, she noticed that lily was agitated and kept looking outside as if she was hiding from someone. The receptionist entered one of the doctors room and told her that she was sending a patient in who seemed to be in a hurry and agitated.

When the receptionist returned to the common area where lily was supposed to sitting she found lily pacing up and down and looking outside again. She tapped on her shoulder which startled her and she looked back " mam the doctor will see you now, I'll take down your details and payment once you're done in there" said the receptionist gesturing to the doctor's room.

Lily hurried into the room and greeted the doctor "hi, Im pregnant and want to abort it immediately is it possible that you can help now?" Lily said quickly.

The doctor was stunned, the way lily was acting was like she was running from someone who was gaining in on her. "Miss, it's possible to help you with an abortion but it's depends on how far you are, we have to look on the sonar to see where exactly you stand" said the doctor calmly, she passed her a brochure to read on abortions but lily pushed it aside. "Doctor we don't need to do that I just need the pill and get it over with right" she said to the lady. She needed to get out of there as soon as possible without the baby.

Truth be told she had not taken time to think about Chris's feelings about the situation, in her mind she was protecting him by taking the baby's life, she planned to have an abortion and flee from that country alone she wanted to set Chris free from the life she adopted.

"Miss the reason we do the sonar is to see how far you are and which method of abortion we could do, that would be safe for you, please understand" said the doctor to the panicking patient. Abortions through pills could only be done when the woman was less then three months pregnant because that was safe period for the abortion, but after three months to four months if the mother still insisted on the abortion then they'd have to do an extraction with the patient put under anesthesia so that she doesn't feel pain. Pills wouldn't work if she was over three months hence it was important to check first, the doctor explained all the abortion methods and then she finally understood, she had no choice but to get onto the patient bed and have the sonar done. she gave up arguing and took off her shoes and got onto the bed near the sonar machine. She was about to see the baby for the first time.
