The Alteration

"Ha!" A sound of shouting resounded in the forest but as you dwell deeper you can see that the one shouting is Anastasius. The boy who was once timid and frail now looked like he was reborn. But what's eye-catching is that Anastasius is fighting Manus who was now dressed in a Hanfu that is colored with white and purple trails on the sides. Anastasius is seen drawing punches and kicks towards Manus who just always redirected his attack away from him. "You've improved just by staying here for a year. But that is not enough you may have the skills but your experience in battle is far too little." Manus said as he now quickly ducked and grabbed a handful of the soils and tossed it at Anastasius's eyes. "Gahh!" Anastasius shouted in pain as the dirt strikes his eyes making him blind. "Listen in a fight there is no right or wrong what matters is that you must defeat your opponent. Now fight me without your sight sense me using your energy. Show me what are the results of your year training mastering my energy." Manus said as he dashed towards Kaosu punching him in the guts. "Agh!" Anastasius hissed as all of the air in his body left him and he had no choice but to kneel on the ground.

"Come on Anastasius you have been training to master the minuscule energy you have in your body. This is the time to use it I have been passed out many times already because of this." Anastasius cheered himself up as he now focused himself while he was kneeling. Suddenly as if time has stopped around Anastasius the purple and black energy cycling in his body now just burst out of him and into the surrounding. What amazed Anastasius is now he can see he can feel everything in a mile radius from him. He can feel the energy of the tree that gave a green-like glow he can also feel a boar a mile away giving a brown glow. But what made him feel terrified is Manus he can now sense Manus who was just 2 meters away slowly running towards him. This doesn't terrify Anastasius because he had now become accustomed to Manus's beatings but what made this different now is that he can see how vast Manu's energy now. It made him feel like once you saw Manus's energy it will devour you whole like an abyss.

"It seems you have managed to sense your surroundings using your energy. Then stand up and fight me!" Manus shouted as he strikes a roundhouse kick to Anastasius's head. Surprisingly what happened after Manu's kick is that Anastasius was able to block it by using his left arm to guard. "Woah what is this I can see your moves master it's like you've become slower," Anastasius said as he now backed away from Manus to create distance between them if Manus decided to suddenly attack. "This is my final teaching to you child. This is what you called the Blood field this will help you in many instances. This field will help you see everything in a certain radius, it will also enhance your brain and body to perform tasks you were never able to manage." Manus said as he now tools something behind his back. "Woah isn't this cheating master!" Anastasius said as he was now scared because what Manus pulled behind his back is a set of daggers. Manus didn't pay attention to Anastasius's pleading and just started throwing daggers in his direction. Anastasius who couldn't believe what is happening just forced his mind to focus.

Anastasius just suddenly saw every dagger being hurled at him in slow motion. 'Woah this Bloodfield is surprisingly helpful and powerful. I might be able to use this to my advantage.' Anastasius said to himself and as he dodged every last dagger of Manus and he also managed to grab one in mid-flight and threw it back to Manus. "Swish!" The dagger sounded at Manus just tilted his head to dodge the dagger Anastasius threw at him. This made Manus smile in happiness as he was now satisfied with Anastasius's prowess. "I'm really happy that you have now managed to make me dodge an attack after a whole year. I remembered that when you first came to this place scared and anxious and passed out because of using too much energy." Manus Reminisced as he walked up to Anastasius. "Well, I did manage to rub off some talent from you master." Anastasius humbly offered praise to Manus. Manus who saw this just smiled even more because even so that Anastasius became powerful within just a span of a year that even prodigies will have difficultly to copy he still remained humble. "No this is nothing this is my purpose why I am here in your Glebe is to teach you everything I know. Now that you manage to integrate with the Gene successfully I have nothing to teach you anymore. Go to your world to garner experiences, comrades, and of course power so that in the next time we'll meet you'll have the power to fight back." Manus said as he suddenly pressed on Anastasius's forehead.

"What Master I'm not ready!" Anastasius shouted as he was blinded by a bright light. And after that, his vision returned and he was now in the capsule in the hospital. "Woah this feels really bizarre to me. Master really changed me in just a year that I really felt that my Bloodline Glebe is my world, not this one." Anastasius said as he now opened the pod and what revealed him was Dr. Hisiro and the nurse looking at him surprised. "How? is this possible I never saw a Gene Alteration this fast it has been only 10 minutes Mr.Anastasius. This became an unprecedented record for the whole planet." Dr. Hisiro said as the Nurse went to Anastasius pod and tampered with something. "99 percent absorption! How is this Doctor come to look!" The nurse shouted as she beckons Dr.Hisiro to Anastasius's pod. Dr. Hisiro turned and approached the spot where the nurse is and he was shocked at was he saw. There was a small screen in Anastasius pod and what he saw there is that "Integration:99%" in a red-like color.

"Doctor? is there seems to be a problem with my Gene Alteration?" Anastasius asked as he was also anxious as to what is the meaning of the term 'Absorption'. Dr. Hisiro who was now covered in sweat walked towards Anastasius and hug him. "No Mr. Anastasius is just that this is the first record ever to be documented of a Gene other than humanoid creatures to reach an absorption rate past 80 percent." Dr. Hisiro said happily as he now beckoned Anastasius to sit on a chair. "Doctor can you explain to me more deeply why is the matter so important," Anastasius asked as he sat on the chair that Dr. Hisiro offered. "Well because Mr. Anastasius in the history of us humans since we have used the Gene Alteration to gain equal power and gain an advantage in our planets space voyage. That this is the first time in our history that human had managed to Integrate with a Gene that do not have the same features as us. Especially a Draco of all creature because Draco and many creatures belonging to that Genus are really not compatible with us and would only be used as a power-up or nourishment for other Genes." The Doctor explained to Anastasius because in his life up to now he always taught that Gene Alteration is only just for people to use at their advantage.

"I see now Doctor but can I ask you to keep this record of me in secret and I do and will understand if you will send it to your superiors but I will not allow it to be let known to the public," Anastasius said seriously and because of this Anastasius little bit of energy seeped out of his body scaring the Dr. Hisiro. This gave Dr. Hisiro chills in his spine as if he was talking to a wise beast rather than a fresh out-of-the-water teenager. Anastasius was also shocked as he suddenly lost control of his Bloodfield resulting in a small escape of his energy that scared the Doctor. "Shit! this is bad I must not let anyone know that what I got is not the Gene of the Draco but of Master." Anastasius scolded himself and just smiled brightly to the Doctor completely forgetting the reason why he turned serious suddenly. "I see Mr. Anastasius and I will respect your decision on this and how about waiting for Mr. Blake on a special gym stationed here in the hospital. This is used for people that just got here first Gene Alteration to cope up with their Gene." The doctor said as he beckoned his Nurse to show Anastasius the way out.
