Notice of Hiatus

So, as you can see this novel will go on hiatus.

When I first started writing this novel, actually even before that when I first thought of the idea, I had a burning passion for it. The first day I sat down to write this novel I churned out 10 chapters in one sitting. That's how much passion I had for this novel. I felt like I could do the distance.

But as I continue to write, I've come to realize that I've lost that passion a little bit. That's not to say I don't enjoy writing this novel because I do. It's just that it's lost its shine a little. To me anyway, to some, it might still have it or to some it never did.

That's why I'm putting this novel on hiatus. I'm not dropping it. And it's also not of those hiatus that turns into a drop. I really do just need some time away from this novel to get back that passion. To freely explore the story without the looming release date over my head. A little pretentious for a fanfiction I know, but I do this for enjoyment so I want to continue to enjoy it.

And it's not because of the comments or the critics because I actually appreciate them all, even the negative ones. It helps me realize my mistakes or refine my viewpoint when someone points out something they dislike or thought of differently.

Anyway, the hiatus will be two months at the latest. And come hell or high water, this novel will continue.

I appreciate all the support this novel has received and I can only hope the day this novel returns, we will be met with open arms.
