A Great Test (Part 2)

Miller had played video games all his life. He loved it. He also loved fantasies and thinking that couldn't exist. Since his Green Energy skill was based on his imagination. He had to use it to his own will.

Right now, he is surrounded by the beasts. He has nowhere to run. Even if the Construct Forge weren't a reality. It felt so real. Looking at Miller one could see him panting heavily.

The beasts dashed towards Miller and at the same time, the other beasts that were hovering above him sent out fire from their mouths.

Miller ran to the set of the beasts in front of him and also dodging the attack that was coming to him from above.

[Green Energy]

As Miller got close to them. His Green Energy covered his whole body. This time it wasn't only his forearm that was covered, but his entire body. Swinging his arms, green daggers left his forearm.

Miller bent down and jumped up to hit one of the beasts that was hovering above in the sky. All the beasts flapped their wings and moved further upward. Miller's aim wasn't to reach them. He just wanted his arm to be clear.

A bow and an arrow suddenly appeared on Miller's hand. He shot it aiming at one. But as soon as the arrow left the string, it duplicated into seven hitting all the beasts that were hovering above him.

Due to gravity and Miller not capable of flying, his own body was going down due to the force of gravity. Miller gathered all the energy and as he hit the floor.

BAM!

His green energy had extended itself forming spikes all over the floor injuring those beasts that were around One to Two Kilometer close.

The other beasts that were still alive kept on attacking and this time they all opening their mouth and fire came out.

RARR!

The fire made a roar sound. Miller immediately placed his shadow there slowing down the attack. But another fire was coming behind him. Miller used his green energy to make a shield to block the attack.

But as usual, the force was too much and it jolted him backwards. Due to the jolt, Miller's own body had passed his own shadow and he hit the other fire that he was also trying to avoid.

BAM!

His entire skin was disfigured, but the tissues started to form instantly healing him in the process.

Miller could feel the pain and for the first time in this reality, even his legs have grown weak. He was panting.

His energy Manipulation was based on his energy and due to him getting weaker. The ability was having lesser effect.

"I forfeit!" Miller shouted.

Everything instantly paused and Xentor appeared. A part of the ground opened and Xentor appeared from it.

"Why do you want to forfeit." Xentor complained. "You have to get stronger in the real world. Who knows what kind of trial you might face."

"You might even face life and death situations, much more worse than this." Xentor concluded.

"I am tired," Miller said. "I would try this later."

"I disagree, you are not leaving here." Xentor said.

Miller smiled.

"Why are you smiling." Xentor complained.

"Even if it looks so real. Nothing here is real. Even if you were given a consciousness by the System." Miller said. "Even if you have almost absolute control over the Construct Forge and i have almost none."

"I have one power over you." Miller concluded.

Xentor could see the look in Miller's eyes. He knew what Miller was talking about. All this was a Construct Forge. No matter how everything looked real and how Xentor could easily manipulate everything. All this was in Miller's mind and due to it being in Miller's mind, he can end it.

"No." Xentor said firmly. "You don't know what you would face out there."

"That's my own problem to worry about." Miller said. "And not yours."

"But..." Xentor said and this time tears were starting to roll down his cheek.

'Does he have emotions.' Miller thought. 'How could he?'

"I heard what you just said and i wanted to ask you this." Xentor said. "If you go back to the real world. What would happen to me?"

To be honest, Miller hadn't thought about this before. He had only been concerned about himself and to him Xentor was just a conscious created by the System. So it doesn't matter if he died or lived. The System could maybe create a new one. But seeing Xentor's tears. Miller felt a little bad.

"Would I die?" Xentor asked.

"I don't know what would happen to you." Miller said truthfully.

"Ha Ha Ha." Xentor started to laugh all of a sudden and he used his green hands to clean the tears from his eyes. His laugh reminded Miller of how a villain used to laugh in the movies.

"Why are you laughing." Miller said in a soft tone confused.

"Miller. You need to learn how to not be tricked by others. You still have a lot to learn." Xentor said. "I fooled you so easily." He laughed again and this offended Miller.

[Construct Forge Deactivated]

Miller deactivated the Construct Forge. The world started to turn to dust. But before everything Turned to dust. He heard the last word of Xentor before everything turned to dust.

"If you ever want more training. I am here for you." Xentor said. "Try not to get fooled by people."
