CHAPTER IX- MANA ZOMBIES

It's been hours since the apocalypse hit, all life seemed to have been altered, the lives of every living creature has been effected to an unmeasurable degree.

Chances to evelove and improve was granted to every living creature, and hunt and to be hunted was one of the new worlds order of survival .

The new change was , somehow favourable to majority of the weak as they have been given the opportunity to fight back while it was unfavorable to the strong, especially the ones who fell in the territorial zone of Sect two as the strong and the weak are even in terms of power.

Preys now had the strength to defend themselves from predators and humans weren't any different from animals this time around.There wasn't even a single change that showed signs of the existence of law or order.

The government had already sent rescuing teams to look for survivers in areas of what's left of cities in ruins .

Some soldiers and cops met tragic and catastrophic ends in their line of duty, the duty to serve and protect the country and everything that lived in it.

Terrifying creatures that lurked in the streets, some in como flashes with the depth of ruins in the city, waiting to spot and attack unfortunate creatures.

The city's electricity source would be cut off if the were no experts operating them unless they were also met with the unfortunate happenings in the city as well as the whole country, infact,world wide.

There was no part of the earth that wasn't affected in the slightest.

15 years, Its been fifteen years, fifteen years since Nathan had a younger brother, Ethan was born when Nathan was two years old.

Nathan was the second born in the family with Ethan follow right after him.

The first born of the family was the extremely beautiful Eleanor.

Ethan, who was had currently fallen asleep due to fatigue after Chen Hu removed the glass shards and helped him patch up his wounds,was currently behind the counter employees would stand behind to sell stuff to customers.

He Opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling above him. It wasn't something special really as the ceiling had more of a common ceiling design most convenient store had.

Only this one had a different colour. The designs were a mixture of lines and symbols.

It had various Colours for each line or symbols drawn with some of the colours of the designs were repeated.

The convenient store was a two story building with 15 meters in terms of width and height.

It had most if not all of it's shelves broken with items and food containers spread across the floor.

Some of the food cans have been spilled open with their cans in disfigured shapes.

The store sold lots of things ranging from food and beverages to equipments Like skee and survival equipments.foe activities like hiking, mountain climbing, camping etc.(many more)

Ethan stared at the state of the store with regret and pain as he felt somehow responsible for this mess.

Some hours ago( first day of the apocalypse)

It was just a normal day for Ethan, the weather was favourable, the sun shone on the earth as it bathed it with it's soothing warmth like it did every other day.

The air felt purer as usual as it was in the Chūn season otherwise known as the Chinese name for spring season.

Ethan was a Universal student in Shanghai University, well fact is, Ethan and his family weren't Chinese, his father chose to build up another branch of the NOVA-COMPEX in China.

NOVA-COMPEX was built basically everywhere in the world.

It was a true powerhouse to behold. As at now, it wouldn't be surprising to Nathan if they were still on their feet till this day even if they hada suffered a few casualties here and there due to the apocalypse.

It was 6:30 am I the morning and the school had already gathered at the assembly hall, everything seemed normal, not even a single ounce of sound was heared.

Not even a single student was absent today as it was a grand ceremonial day.

A day dedicated to honour and celebrate the day the school was built, and it was always to also appreciate the creation of the school.

A school which had helped a lot of people.

Popular for the amount of prominent group of people it produced Every single time it's students graduated.

Ethan stood in his assigned line of formation from the professor in charge of the extra curricular activities Region.

Ethan's eyes inspected the place as he took in every detail which have been added.to the school, it would not be changed till the end of the week since it was decorated with lots and lots of blooming flowers.

Countless Banners of almost every bright colour was hung across major entrances.

The was a speech that was to be soon be delivered about the biography of the School, videos and pictures were being taken by countless press organizations as today was fing to be a memorable day in the whole of Shanghai and it's neighboring cities and towns.

Ethan's, mesmerizing blue pair of eyes kept darting back and forth amongst the open crowd at the VIP entrance, hoping to find his brother, Nathan, amongst the surprisingly few people who came through the VIP entrance.

At this time Nathan was heading for his getting ready to head for his interview.

Ethan was really dumbfounded by the sudden absence of his brother, because Nathan ought to come today because he was once a well cherished and most outstanding personnel the school had ever had in it's history most prominent students.

Only a few people in the school's history of amazing student's would come near his accomplishment.

Ethan was disappointed yet understood that his brother would have his reasons to justify his absence as he was also after all a human being with important business to take care of.
