Scanner (50CP): The scanner uses the PDA's artificial intelligence to analyze an object, often finding weaknesses or uses not immediately apparent to the user. If one of your fabricators is capable of constructing the scanned object, a blueprint is created. Scanning time varies with size and complexity.

Upgraded Scanner (50CP): For those who don't want to get too close to the Reaper Leviathan but still really want that scan, this upgrade quadruples the scanning distance and speed.

PDA (0CP): Loaded with emergency intelligence and more data capacity than you could ever use, this is a survivor's second most powerful tool (after their brain). The AI may get a bit... quirky... over long deployments. Your version is basically indestructible and contains basic construction blueprints.]

Yesssss! Second time's the charm! I freaking love Subnautica, and the most versatile thing from it is here: the scanner. And there's even an upgraded version of it—I'll make good use of this. As a bonus, I even got a PDA full of futuristic blueprints. I would need a fabricator-like machine for it, but it's great to have options. Once I can create a Habitat Builder from the game, it'll be time to build a base underwater—a perfect hideout. Oh, it seems this version of the Celestial Forge has an inventory-type subspace where I can store only the items I've obtained. This is perfect, and it's even like the Gate of Babylon from Fate; I can recall the items from any range, making them theft-proof as well.

Now that I've finished checking the forge, I should get going to buy a computer and everything that's needed for it. A simple computer will be enough. It turns out it took quite some time with the drive and purchasing the right things—by the time I got back, it was dark. It took me an hour to set up the computer and get it running. Luckily, it was pre-installed with the best native operating system of this world, Stark OS. Although I've heard that Wayne Industries' OS is great too, I'm 100% sure Batman has left several hidden backdoors in it. Oh yeah, Batman is already a thing in this world, along with all his supervillains from Gotham. Fortunately, I live in New York, which will still be peaceful for a year or two, and by the time things go south, I'll be ready.

Let's start learning now that I have the internet and the computer up and running. First, I should start with mechanical knowledge—try studying for 2 hours, then sleep because I have to wake up early to let the workers in.

The Next Day

I let the workers in with their giant machines. They let me know that if I would allow them to store their vehicles here with their equipment locked inside, they could start working earlier and finish in around two months. If I'm willing to pay their overtime, they can get it done in a month because, in this area, nobody lives nearby, so they don't have to worry about the noise they make and can start at dawn every day. I agreed to the offer and paid the deposit required, so they went back to work, and I went back to study all day.

I stayed there all day, starting from the very basics just in case something in this universe works differently from what I know. I only stopped when the workers called me to say they were leaving, so I locked the fence gate and went back. But on the way back to the house, I looked at the machines they left here and remembered what I got from the forge. I summoned the scanner and the upgraded version to try them out. The normal one works as I remembered, and the new one works just as described. After scanning the last thing, I had an idea to scan myself, just like in the game. Maybe it would show something interesting. Well, it isn't very exciting, but it's still cool—in the PDA, I have a 3D scan of my body with any possible problems and illnesses. What's weird is that there's no sign of damage in my body caused by drugs, despite knowing that the previous owner of this body was an addict. Probably the forge repaired it, or just like in the MCU, my healthy soul merging with this body repaired the damage like some kind of sorcery. It doesn't matter to me, but at least I'm relatively healthy.

I looked at the other scanned things—nothing interesting, just the basic 3D blueprints with a lot of info and everything it could find during the scan: problems, damages, components.

Tomorrow, I'll have to get some tools for engineering.

Next day

I drove around town, paying deposits and ordering everything needed for my future project. Some state-of-the-art tools were out of reach, but I think my current tools will be sufficient. My first project should be a 3D printer based on the Subnautica fabricator blueprint. Obviously, it won't be as compact, but it only needs to work once to create the Habitat Builder. After that, I hope I can create a proper fabricator.

I also looked over the blueprints stored in the PDA, and they're too advanced for me right now. It will take at least a month to learn everything I need to understand them fully. Another piece of wonderful news is that the terraformer is included in the blueprints, so building underground and underwater bases will be easy. I need to get started on studying more so I can succeed in less than a month. I should also get a security system installed—strictly analog and just around the walls, but it's still necessary. I'll call a company after the construction is done.

I can feel the forge starting to move again. I think this is some kind of starting benefit because normally, it wouldn't give this many things in just a few days.

[Robert the Builder (Invincible) (200CP)

You can seemingly build and organize anything with far less hassle and for greater results than most would experience. You are able to be the driving force behind projects large enough to affect entire countries or maybe even the world in its entirety. Somebody 'glassed' Las Vegas? Don't worry, you could lead a project to turn it into the world's largest and most efficient solar farm that can provide cheap electricity to Half of America. Some super villain messed with the tides the world over? You, with the help of some geniuses, would be able to successfully direct the building of a secondary artificial moon to set the tides to right. Truly, the sky itself isn't a limit.]

Perfect for my project and even for the company I was planning. This will help me organize my thoughts and refine my plan.

Currently, I need to set up everything to create the rudimentary fabricator after I've learned everything. Now, I'll order the necessary materials and a Stark-brand 3D printer for the smaller parts.

Timeskip: 1 month

Nothing happened in the outside world according to the news, and since I have yet to acquire the necessary knowledge to hack a government agency without getting caught, I didn't gain any new powers from the Forge. So, I'm only as informed as an average person here, which isn't ideal, but I can't do anything about it yet.

The construction has finished, and even the cameras were installed a few days ago. I made sure they're not hackable and only placed them where they won't see inside the important areas.

I finally learned the knowledge required to start assembling the rudimentary fabricator. I already got most of the parts done during the month—it wasn't as hard as I expected. With all the necessary info on the PDA, it was easy.

Lately, I've been running low on money. Okay, I'm exaggerating by saying I'm running low, but it's still a problem, so I need to find a way to earn money online.

Next Day

I've been thinking about my money problems, and I'm convinced I've found the solution for my financial crisis: stock trading. No, I'm not basing this on possible future events but on my last power. That power has given me the ability to organize and lead people on a genius level, not just a great planning ability. Turns out, using it not only gives me these effects, but I can now sift through hundreds of pages of data and accurately predict the market if I want to. Using this pseudo-precognition, I've gained double the amount I've spent since waking up here, all in pure profit.

With my finances solved, I started working on assembling the one-time fabricator for the Habitat Builder. It should take about a week to build it in the basement. I'll need a lot of batteries because I don't want any government agency questioning the sudden increase in power usage, so I'll have to spread it out by using the batteries from the cars stored here in the junkyard. I should start charging them after I gather them, two at a time.

Timeskip: 1 week

I finished building the one-time fabricator. Now, I only need to program the software that can connect to my PDA, and the rest will be handled by the AI. It should only take two hours to write the program.

2 hours later.

I'm done preparing everything. I connected all the batteries to the machine, started the program, and loaded all the materials into the correct slots. Now all I need to do is use my PDA with the correct blueprint, and it should work.

The moment I've been waiting for the past month—the first big step in this insane world. I press the correct button, and it starts. It's not as fast as I would like, but it'll be done in an hour, so let's wait.

1 hour later

It's done—my greatest creation to date, the Habitat Builder. I immediately check its charge; fortunately, just like in the game, it's full. I have the materials ready for a solar panel and a fabricator, so I go outside and use it to build a solar panel. Since my house isn't built with the Habitat Builder, I need to use wires to connect it to the batteries and the fabricator, so I wire everything up. After I finished the wiring, I built the fabricator, and it was beautiful. It's slightly different from the game in that it has a place to input the materials, but other than that, it's the same. It seems like it can do more than it could in the game—it can transform materials. It can turn the scrap metal in the junkyard into pure blocks of metal, perfectly separating those blocks into pure, usable materials. I couldn't be happier with this discovery. I can start transforming the junk into something more compact and useful. I should begin the cleanup tomorrow. Meanwhile, today I should order the materials required for the terraforming tool. After I get that fabricated, I'll start building a base underground and underwater. I was truly smart to buy this junkyard—with this much metal, I'll be able to build everything I planned, especially the PRAWN Suit. I need a Mobile Vehicle Bay, but that won't be a problem. With the suit, I'll be able to mine the rest of the resources in the ocean, and as long as I stay away from Atlantis and Talokan, I'll be invisible to radars, free to mine anything I want. I can feel the Forge moving again—finally, after a month.

[Fuel Production Facility (Starsector v1.2) (100CP)

A large facility dedicated to the production of fuel. By default, the production facility is configured to produce antimatter fuel, but this can be changed to produce alternative variants of fuel at higher volumes. A single facility is capable of producing enough antimatter every month to supply around 10 capital-hull ships without a problem, or around 3,000 units of fuel.]
