Chapter 3, Take Care
Fei Xu finally need to bid goodbye to his one and only child, after a rest at the temple, two monks prepared a carriage for all of them to ride on til they will all arrive at the capital
"Shao Qi, I will leave my child in your care, Master Long will stay with you to look after my son!" says Fei Xu and beckoned his eyes on the baby
"here, take a good hold on him before you leave!!" says Shao Qi and gave him the baby
Fei Xu is only 17 and now has a child, he is pretty sure the king will keep Jin a secret to everyone like his own son is erased from the entire world, but Fei Xu believe that Jin is not born to give the world a natural catastrophe, humans are more dangerous he thought, they are corrupt, selfish and has no self respect at all towards their kind
"son you are a prince and I will make sure you will come back to me in and let the people know you are from royal blood, you and I are no different, were just given power, you will return and help me solve the people who are vicious and more like a devil than a human!" he kissed the baby goodbye before he passed Jin to Master long, he also put the Fan above his blanket he has been keeping since his mother was alive
"this fan, I was suppose to give it to your mother as a marriage proposal but she died by the hand of my father!!!" says Xu
"Master Long, Shao Qi take good care of my son I'll come here every 2-3 years to visit him, I cannot visit my son year by year since I have a lot to do is that alright?"
"hmm, as long as he sees you with his eyes his appearance will remain a human, a catastrophe child needs to be trained and this is the first to be born in this world!" says Shao Qi
Fei Xu walked away together with Feng, the two monks gathered them all in the carriage one for Feng and the prince and the larger for the soldiers
the sky is sunny and fog is cold mixed like Fei Xu's emotion, his wife is gone now his son is taken away, at least he knew it's safe, he has to return to the capital as soon as possible, the clone corpse is decaying and the emperor might suspect him and kill all the people in his residence
Liang was busy putting ice on the corpse's face, it was starting to decay since its been 3 days, the face is almost worn out and the body is showing signs of rotten flesh
"Liang, Prince Lin want to come back again and play chess with the corpse I'm afraid if this game goes on for hours the corpse will smell infront of his majesty" says Zu, he was in agony and had cream in his hand, Liang in the other hand cursed and pulled the cream and splat it on the corpse's body to avoid it from getting seen and rot
"does that low-key crown prince need to come here everyday, don't he have many things to do for his people!!" he glared and prepared the clone corpse
Lin came back for the third time with a special chess board and started shouting for Fei Xu to come out and play at the pond, however, Liang was so annoyed at that time and prepared the clone corpse well but she does not know what to do once the corpse smell in an hour
as soon as she came out, Liang saw the crown prince talking with someone, she glimpsed a closer look and was about to jump in joy once she saw the real Fei Xu standing next to Fei Lin, she ordered Zu to put the corpse back in and she went next to the real Prince to serve him
"brother you seem well this day, yesterday you look so sick and dead!!!" says Lin
"oh, I guess I was sick-"
"hmm, yeah, I always beat you in chess, you never lost but you are so different these past days!!" Lin mocked at his face, Fei Xu looked at Liang and understand that it was the corpse's small brain
"I was not well and was sad through these days so I did not win the matches!!!" Fei Xu said and sat down for a cup of tea, Lin sat the opposite direction and smiled
"I heard the carriage and soldiers entered the misty road and forest of beast!!!, don't you think!!!" says Lin with a mocking face, Fei Xu did not give any expression and continued to drink
"oh Im just saying brother, you might not know I think you better make a tomb for your dead monster since the beast in that forest must've killed him" Lin mocked, Fei Xu gave him an eyesore and wanted to throw the hot pot in his face but he knew his son is okay and that he is the one who put him in safety
"what do you say brother!!!"
"the tea is delicious, drink it while it's warm or else I'll slap that tea cup in your pretty face!!" he said, Lin rolled his eyes and just sipped a tea
"The royal Eunach is here?" yelled a servant, both the prince's looked at Eunach Han
"your majesties the Emperor summons you to the palace now!!!" he said
"oh, is it a bad news or good!!" says Lin smiling ear to ear
"Xu'er why don't you prepare a handkerchief to cry on when you hear the news that your son is eaten by a beast!!!" Lin mocked, the Eunach frowned and did not speak, Fei Xu kept a blank face and continue to act as if he was worried
they arrived at the Jade palace, The king sat on the throne with a gloomy face while the consorts are smiling full of mockery in their faces
"Father me and my dear brother arrived!!" says Lin with a smiling face
"Father!!!" says Fei Xu and looked at him eye to eye, inside Fei Xu wants to laugh at his face but he kept it low and wait for everyone to know that his son is alive and okay, all the assassins died and victory is in his hand that's why the king glared at him
"Fei Xu-" the emperor called
"yes father?"
"Where were you these past days!!!" asked the emperor
"I was at my own home playing with Lin with chess!!!" says Fei Xu
"Yes I was and he always lost!!!" mocked Fei Lin, The emperor glared at Lin causing him to shut up
"very well, your son is safe in the temple of dragons!!!" says the king straight to his face
as Lin heard about the victory he nearly fainted and looked at Fei Xu with feirce eye
"that's impossible!!!"
"really father my son is safe!!!" Fei Xu cried out, the consorts were furious and has the same face as Lin
"The general guard came back safe but they are no longer in their number, most of them were killed by the beast!!!" The emperor said
"I'll take responsibility Father!!!" Fei Xu bowed, finally he smiled after covering his face, he came back safe and his son is sounded in peice
"Fei Xu, your son will be a secret to anyone in this place, no one shall know him for he is a bad luck into this world!!!" says the emperor, Xu kept quite and did not speak, he knew this from the start anyway
he just looked at everyone who was gloomy faced and smiled to mock them and bowed to leave the reign of evil hypocrites
Fei Xu walked out of the carriage and went to his mansion and ordered everyone to get inside and lock the doors and gates, the soldiers are also inside secretly mourning for their dead brothers, as for the dead they did make tombs and fake ashes for the families of the dead, the soldiers that died at the hillside was not actually dead but turned to a wild beast, the monks explained as they travel along
"Diánxià, tomorrow I'll escort the other soldiers to their families!!!" says Feng and bowed, Fei Xu only nod his head and looked up the skies that is about to bite the night
"son, I came back safe, Ping look after Fei Jin!!!" he mumbled
the snake mountain of Dragon temple hissed as the fog disappear, the land can now be seen and white snakes come out of the old cherry tree with a sparkling eyes, Shao Qi held Fei Jin in his hand walking towards the highest hill of Dragon land
The beauty of the place can be compared to the heavens, trees are wonders of beautiful leaves and vibrant colors abide the eyes of ignorant fool
"Oh heavens in the sky I bring forth the son of hell!!!" says Shao Qi, he prepared firewoods to sacrifice Fei Jin and placed him there to burn
"Prince of Catastrophe, this is no place for you!!!" says Shao Qi, he looked up the skies and chanted for the dragon
"dragon of the heavens feel free to burn this baby with your flame of breath!!!" he shouted, the sky turned red and fear made him tremble, the clouds formed in a circle as if a spear is preparing to ignite the little prince, Fei Jin looked up the heavens and saw the beauty of the red sky, his golden eyes twinkled as he laugh in amazement
"you still laugh when you are about to die!!!" says Shao Qi
the clouds roared and made a spear of feirce lightning, a blaring red and blue thunder strucked the sacrifice, loud enough to be heard from the other mountains sending waves of fear through the beasts around the land, and the impact threw Shao Qi away making the snakes comfort him back to his feet
Shao Qi watched as the area burn in blue and red ball of flames probably burning the little prince to ashes, he waited for a minute or two before the flames disappeared, Shao Qi bowed and walked towards the sacrifice area only to be disappointed by what he had seen
Fei Jin held his little arms high and laughed out loud as if angels are tickling him
"what in the dragon is going on!!!" says Shao Qi, he ran towards the baby and saw his amber eyes glowing like a treasure next to him is a sword of keen blade made of strong steel of gold and silver, a dragon emblem with a head of wolf was designed to the core twirled with golden iron thread
"hmm, what is the meaning of this!!!" says Shao Qi, a golden scroll was next to the sword so he opened it and read what's written inside
he looked at Fei Jin with wide eyes and finally understand why the heavens did not kill him
"so you are more than who you are, if that's the case, I am now your master and forever uncle, your dragon and someone who will discipline you, you demon child is a weapon!!!" says Shao Qi and smiled, he picked up Fei Jin put the sword in his back and carried him back to the temple mansion
"you stupid snakes, put the fog back!!!" Shao Qi rolled his eyes on them before he walked back down
while on his way, Master Long ran up to them and asked Shao Qi about the thunder in the mountain top
"Shao Qi what did you do-" roared the furious Long, he looked at the little prince attempting to grab him but Shao Qi pulled the baby away
"hands off!!!" he said
"what hands off, I am the uncle of that child"
"and I am the guardian, I have lots of responsibility for this child including his kung fu and martial art skills!!" Shao Qi demanded
"what has gotten into you, you look annoyed and wanted to kill the prince when you left but now you are like his mother!!!" Master long glared
"shush, I'll tell you about it when we get back at the temple just get out of the way, I need to bath the little boy!!!" he rolled his eyes and marched away
at the temple, Master long prepared his tea and sat on the wooden floor, he can see the view of pretty mountains and birds flying up and down
"Fei Jin was given a gift from the heavens!!!" says Shao Qi holding the baby rocking him to sleep, Master long was startled and looked at the man coming towards him
"what do you mean!!?"
Shao Qi put the baby on large soft pillow next to Master long and went to a cabinet, he put down the sword box and showed him the sword
"this blade was given to him, I was gonna ask the heavens to burn the child-"
"what did you say!!!"
"hush- let me finish you old fart!!!" he glared
"I thought the heavens was gonna burn Fei Jin but instead they gave him sword!" says Shao Qi
"what do you mean?"
"that's the question? there was a scroll next to the sword, it says there that now it is in my hand I will train the baby to be a better person, keep him away from people who serves the devil and help him sit on the throne!!!" says Shao Qi
"you mean- the heavens wants Fei Jin to change and keep him away from the devils!!!" says Master Long
"for the meantime yes, but I need to learn a lot from this baby, he is the one and only Prince of Catastrophe!!" Shao Qi stared at Fei Jin who is sleeping soundly
