"chop chop, let's get moving." Wolfheart announced. "Can't hang out here for long."

"But big bro weird eyes has just woke up..." Drake complained in a sullen tone. "It's like better to be on the move than sticking one place if you're being pursued by the CPF." Vixen suggested. Arima and Evan were quiet the whole time.

After an hour of getting everything ready the gang decided to head out. "What to do with him?" Wolfheart asked, pointing towards Evan. " Can't we eat him?" Drake asked. "That's up to him" Vixen said pointing at Arima. "I'll carry him" Arima said "if that's not an issue." "As long as you don't slow us down." Wolfheart said in a harsh tone. Siren was just quietly smiling this whole time.

Mobiles switched off, black cloaks covering them to vanish into the darkness, they headed out. After about two hours of hopping over the rooftops and listening to Drake complaining and whining, they reached what seemed like an abandoned town.

"Welcome to Nefaria, the forgotten town of the vamps." Vixen said. "I always thought Nefaria was just some imaginary place..." Arima said.

"What do you think, only humans are capable of hacking and hiding their presence?"

Arima and the gang were soon surrounded by grim looking onlookers. "Everyone is curious about a new vamp joining them. Not to mention we have a human in our midst" Wolfheart said side-eying at Evan. Arima and Evan were taunted and eyeballed a lot while passing through the market. Many vamps even tried to attack Evan. "Hold on just a bit. We're going to reach our destination."Vixen said. Arima was a bit concerned about Siren. She wasn't saying anything at all. Only a short smile sometimes or when someone looked at her.

"We're here." Vixen said pointing at a shabby looking building "the home of the father."

Inside there was not the scene Arima and Evan expected. Handicapped and mentally ill vamps were taking refuge in the building. "They are all who survived CPF encounters but we're unlucky to be left in a stage where they can't hunt for themselves any longer. They are protected and fed by the Father"
