The large stream of the Seraphim River led group one to the main gate. Many guards greeted them. People going in and out were guarded just as strictly.
Keir was at the front of the line. His skin was slightly pale. He froze as the guards checked his luggage, then went to the carts behind him.
Alpha had agreed to use the disguise of a merchant to find out what was going on. However, he canceled instead.
He ordered an attack on Seraphim. The reason was the appearance of strange clouds. Keir couldn't understand Alpha's thoughts.
Keir watched the locals walking around on the snowy ground. The air was much colder, but they walked without warm clothes.
"It's so cold here, it hasn't even entered the main mountain range yet."
"Yes, it is cold here, " the guard replied. He stood in front of him while carrying a notebook.
Keir observed him—a black wolf, judging by his thick black hair.
"Is it like this every year? Snowy?"
