Luna is the Balance

Alpha entered the meeting room. The board got up from their chairs to greet him. After Alpha took the chair, they sat back down.

Alpha's brilliant eyes scanned the faces of each person at the table. Since Luna fell unconscious, problems in the region were difficult to solve. Things were difficult because Luna wasn't balancing them. She wasn't sick but kept sleeping. Even the doctors didn't know the reasons.

"Don't you fit in here?" Alpha whispered.

The board didn't speak, only waited for Alpha to speak. His face was anxious. Anyone could guess he was worried about Luna.

Things had been difficult since Luna had collapsed. The balance of Emberfall was with Luna. Therefore, it was a big deal.

"We are here to discuss the outstanding regional issues," Looking at people, Alpha spoke, "Duke Daran, you may begin."
