Chapter four

Kai was currently sitting in his room while browsing through the trade center for a certain item.

Kai swiftly scrolled through the items and finally saw what he wanted,

[Tips- Stream Cloud Azure birds are well known for their swift speed and cloud like agility.]

Kai needed a fast mount to help him travel to and from the village since it was a decent distance, and he was only one star qi realm making his travel on foot really slow.

Kai messaged the owner and got back a reply almost instantly.

[Yes sir, I'm willing to trade with treasures or you can buy using gold or spirit stones. I also have many other types of beasts so look for me in the future.]

Kai saw that the man was willing to sell with spirit stones, but he didn't know the price of these steam cloud birds, so he went to ask Ryan.

"Hey Ryan, do you know how much Stream cloud azure birds are worth in sprit stones?"

"Hm, depends on the quality of the bird but I would say around fifty low grade spirit stones for one is pretty good."

"Haha ok thanks Ryan."

Kai left Ryan to his cultivating and went back to his house where he offered the guy one mid-grade spirit stone for two stream cloud birds.

Kai chuckled at this guy's business sense, and he probably would have chosen some kind of Tamer occupation if he hadn't been given the sect system.

Kai went to the trade tab and saw he could summon his two stream cloud birds.

He went to an open area and called them out.

Swoosh

Two beautiful looking birds appeared flying around chirping.

They were sky blue with white cloud symbols on their bodies giving them nice design.

When they flapped their wings once they flew super-fast giving a blurry image as they blend in with the sky.

"Despite them being weak they are indeed fast."

Kai got Ryan and they set off toward the closest village to buy some things, but kai also wanted to find his first official disciple.

He considered Ryan his disciple, but he wanted to feel how it was to scout out his own disciple.

The Stream cloud birds flew very fast as the swiftly flew toward the village but once in a while Ryan and Kai would stop and hunt some beast for materials.

Kai and Ryan were getting close to the village but right when Ryan killed a five-star qi realm Red striped tiger Kai saw another chest making him happy and it was actually an Iron chest making him surprised.

Kai checked with Ryan to make sure the iron chest was safe to open and after confirming it was indeed safe, he finally opened it.

Kai gasped at the level of rewards he got from an Iron chest.

"Nice, I got some of the things I need for my first disciple."

"If I can give him or her some of these things, I should get better things with the ten thousand return boon."

"I'm going to give you this sword technique and I want you to study it just so you have at least one sword technique, but I'll give you a better one in the future."

"Thank you master I promise to practice hard and protect you and the sect in the future."

Kai gave the violent sword slash technique to Ryan since as a prince he hadn't really had time to practice techniques and right now Kai needed Ryan to protect him outside of his territory.

And as soon as Ryan accepted the sword technique a message appeared in Kai's vision.

"Hey Ryan, actually I'm going to give you another sword technique since you need a killing strike technique also."

Ryan looked at Kai and started wondering when sect masters were so generous, he had heard sects were well known for their well protected techniques, but his master really is a good person.

"Thank you master, wow a hundred deaths slash, that sounds scary," Ryan looked happy with his techniques.

"Haha yes. now let's go."

They hopped back on the stream cloud birds after collecting the tiger meat.

As they flew Kai thought about a new disciple and there were things, he needed first to start helping his disciple and those in the future.

He would need some decent cultivation techniques which he could use to get better ones with the return boon, but he also needed some weapons and special herbs to help his disciples have greater protentional.

He knew that his disciples would be safe in his sect for at least a year, but he would also need them to lean some combat experience, so they weren't greenhouse flowers.

He also didn't plan on being a sect based on just one weapon or even just weapons alone he also wanted to have vary of expertise like herbalist, alchemist, rune masters and more so that his sect would have a strong foundation, but this would all be in the future, and he wasn't in a rush.

As Kai came out of his thoughts, he was finally able to see the village and we surprised because the size of the village was actually pretty big from what he thought it would be.

"I guess in the world of immortals a small village is different from what I think is small."
