Bright Academy

School for gifted students is an understatement. Bright Academy was a school on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean. Felix Oppong was one of the over thirty students in the forty square kilometer sized college, for good reason...

THE END II

Alex went to the Sahara desert and started a sandstorm which carried huge volumes of sand all around Africa and the Middle East.

After causing a few floods, acid rains, lightning storms and avalanches all around the world, he decided to go back to the warehouse since he had sensed something strange.

When he got there, he realized Alexa was dressed differently, in a way that actually enticed him.

She smiled at him then he looked her up and down and asked,"What's going on?"

"I'm finally warming up to you."She said, running her finger down his chin and throat.

He looked at her, surprised, till she started unbuttoning his shirt then pushed him violently onto the bed.

He was surprised and excited as she climbed on top of him then he rolled over to put her below him and pinned her down by the hands then she moaned in a way that enticed him more...

Alexa opened her eyes then looked at Alex, who was soundly sleeping beside her.

She felt his pulse, he was asleep.

She then thought,' He's asleep. '

' Okay, here's the light dimmer solution. ' I thought back.

At that moment a syringe appeared in her hand and she was confused, she then thought, ' Would this be enough? '

' Trust me, it will be. ' I thought back.

She placed it on his neck then his hand abruptly held her's.

She screamed in fear as he woke up with a deadly look on his face.

He squeezed her wrist so hard, she dropped it then said,"I warned you Alexa, you shouldn't have...ah!"

Alexa hit him in the side of the head with the champagne bottle he had placed there.

He sensed it but didn't expect her to do something like that.

He felt his head and removed his had to see the blood on it then looked at her with teary eyes, but her's were filled with nothing but rage, she was fed up.

She hit him again, only harder and kept hitting him but he didn't stop her and she didn't care.

She hit him till it shattered and the bed was covered in his blood as she was breathing heavily.

He then mentioned her name in a weak voice while trying to touch her gently with his hand but she screamed,"Die!"

Then stabbed him multiple times with the broken side of the glass.

When she realized he was dead and what she had just done, she burst into tears then screamed his name and hugged his body.

She had killed him...

I then appeared beside the bed, with gaping wounds still all over my body, but looked at her, surprised as she looked at me with blood literally on her hands.

I stretched my hands and she ran to give me a hug then within sobs, she said,"He didn't deserve to die like this..."

"I'm sorry Alexa, I wish it didn't have to end this way either."

A tear escaped my eye as I said that then all the memories of him came flooding back, I knew how it felt like to lose a sibling, and not just any, but a twin.

I took her out then cleaned her hands.

I took her to the leader's summit in Uruguay then said,"Alex is dead...Alexa saved us all..."

There was a loud cheering from the crowd of nobles after I made this statement but she still hadn't stopped crying, neither had I.

I hugged her then took her home.

Anneliese finished bathing then walked to the mirror for the maids to help her do her hair when she found out something then gasped...

I arrived home and my mom burst into tears when she saw her daughter was back, but wept when we told her about Alex.

I went to my room to continue healing but felt a rushing sensation and felt hungry, then looked to see all my wounds healed without a trace.

I looked at Lilith who had her arms stretched out then she ran into my arms then I hugged her and kissed her forehead several, but she asked me something that broke my heart,"Daddy, when is Uncle Alex coming back? I want us to be a full family again."

I shedded fresh tears as I said,"Honey...Alex is..."

"Felix!"

I looked up the stairs to see Anneliese, who just saved me from breaking my daughter's heart.

I expected a hug or a kiss, but rather, she stopped right in front of me...her eyes were brown and hazel again.

My jaw dropped as she looked at me and I was as confused as she was...did Bertha's reality changes ware off eventually?

But my question was answered when Apollo ran down the stairs holding a letter, it was from Alex, it said,'

Anneliese, I wanted to thank you for marrying my brother, then again I don't need to, because marrying such a strong, kind, handsome and wonderful man is reward enough, but I know you deserve more, that's why I have returned your light. You all are the best family I could ever ask for, but I always pushed you away and I'm sorry. I know I don't have much time left and that the world will be a lot better without me. It's just, whenever I tried to do the right thing, I did the exact opposite, of all of you, my greatest apologies are to Trevor, you were right Felix it was my fault everyone seemed against me, but I know now you just wanted to support me, thank you for giving me the best life ever...

Your regretful son, brother and enemy, Alex.

I burst into tears at that moment and so did Anneliese, Alex never really liked Alexa in the way we thought, he was just lonely and she was the only person who truly understood him and was always willing to give him a second chance.

He never hated us, he just thought we hated him and I felt so much regret for how I had treated him all his life and wished I could have a second chance with him.

We made a funeral to honour my brother and we all wept, much more than anyone else.

Alexa wasn't the same for weeks after that, she blamed herself for not being able to make him choose another path, but with Trevor's help, she eventually stopped blaming herself.

Anneliese's light was back to level 0, but she was more than willing to start all over again, and Lilith and I were more than willing to teach her.
