A NEW FRIEND

Anneliese had her light back and was able to get her original skills back since they were set in stone.

She also taught Lilith how to control metals like she did using the mineral impurities stored in them, and how to control alloys consisting of a metal or two and a nonmetal, like steel which was made of iron and carbon.

I also realized Lilith's light combination just grew much more powerful everyday.

I once saw her growing a water lily in the pond in the garden.

It wasn't like any variety I had ever seen before.

When the bloom began opening, it was pure white. But then, halfway through its maturing, some pink started climbing down from the tips to the middle, then red followed, before purple, then finally blue, with each previous colour remaining.

By the time it fully bloomed, it showed its golden gynoecium and androecium and the thin, vertical black lines which radiated from its centre and dimmed the closer they got to the tips, with small black dots all around each petal, it was spectacular, almost as herself.

I then looked at her then said,"I have never seen a water lily like that before."

"That's because it doesn't exist."She said.

"Wait, you can make up plants?"

"Yeah, anything from my imagination, but I can also think of what properties I want to plant to have then my light makes the plant with those qualities but that has the greatest chance of existing, I can do that to ice and rocks too, it's just for them, the temperature and pressure at which they occur is significant, with the greatest variation from one atmosphere and 25°C being the hardest, but my light hardly gives me those."

I smiled then ruffled her long hair.

Another time, Lilith went for a walk with both Squeakers when she saw five huge men attacking a boy her age, because he had a light.

She frowned then yelled,"Hey! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!"

The leader looked at her then chuckled and said,"Pretty girls like you shouldn't try to get scars all over their cute faces, now scram."

She stood between the hefty man and the boy then said,"If you want to hurt him you're going to have to get past me."

The boy looked at her with a flicker of hope in his eyes which was immediately quenched when they burst into laughter.

The man stooped down to her level then asked,"And what can you do, cutie?"

She just opened her right palm then a few grains of sand flew into it, right before a little water appeared out of nowhere on them, then the water and sand together, became a few tiny, clear pins.

She then sped up her hand so his reflexes wouldn't be able to protect him then slapped him hard, across the face with the suicide plant quills.

He then screamed like a girl while running around.

He tried rubbing them off his cheek with his hand but they only got stuck on his hand too.

He then started to cry like a baby.

When she knew he had learned his lesson, she caused the quills to be pulled into his skin then break down into important nutrients in his bloodstream.

He then ran to his gang while still crying.

Lilith turned to face the boy and stretched her arm to help him up.

He then asked,"H- h- how o-o-on earth d-d-did you d-d-do that?!"

"My family taught me."She answered.

She sensed the guys asking their leader what was wrong with him then he said,"It felt like I was being burned by acid and electrocuted at the same time."

She smiled to herself then thought,' How ironic. '

One of the men realized she had a light so started running towards her to throw a punch but she tilted her head to the side, strengthened her arm then caught his fist.

He tried to remove it but couldn't even move.

' How strong is she?! ' He yelled to himself.

She then turned to face him then twisted his arm, used her other fist to punch his elbow then threw him over he shoulder.

He moaned in pain then the others charged at her.

She ran towards them then slid below two of their legs, strengthened her leg, then kicked the guy right above her in the behind.

He was thrown forwards and crashed into the first guy she dodged.

She then did a kip up and dodged two punches from one of them then did a back flip and kneed him in the chin in the process.

Before he could recover, she jumped then double spin kicked him in the ribs, and on the cheek, before continuing with a b aerial kick to the side of his head.

One of them caught her from the back and two others were running forward to hurt her so she jumped, kicked forward and blasted a powerful wind which blew the other two away and pushed she and the man backwards.

A high block of ice I c grew then he hit his back on it and she landed then held him by the hand and threw him onto the other two who were running for more.

They got scared and ran away then she blew a raspberry at them, sublimed the ice then went back to the boy.

He was short, Asian, had huge ears, having eyes which started silver around the pupil, then radiated to gold then green.

He then yelled,"Your family i-i-is a-am-m-maz..."

"Let me help you."She said.

She placed her right thumb on his voice box, and the left on his forehead and closed her eyes for a second, then told him to speak.

He felt weird when she did that, like his brain was being reprogrammed.

He then said,"Okay, your family is amazing to have taught you all these moves! What light do you have?! Wait, I'm not stuttering...did you..."

"Heal you? Yup. I'm a hybrid between an H 2 Order and a Stone Breaker, what light do you have?"

He smiled widely then said,"I'm a Mechanic and a Stone Breaker, we're both Stone Breakers."

She smiled then realized he had been rubbing his eyes for a while.

She looked back to see a broken pair of glasses as he asked,"Could you help me find my glasses? I'm as blind as a bat without them."

She smiled then said,"I think I'll do something better."

She touched both his eyes with her thumbs and he felt his eyeballs slightly shrinking, then she told him to open them.

He opened them and saw clearly, far more clearly than he ever had.

He also saw how beautiful she was for the first time and was, for a moment, stunned.

She then said,"My name's Lilith, Lilith Oppong, what about you?"

"I'm Frankie Pitt Junior, it was a great pleasure to meet you, but I've gotta go."

"Wait."She said.

At that moment, flashes appeared in his mind, showing him the directions to a mansion then he somehow knew that was where she lived.

She then said,"Come visit."

He smiled then nodded, right before running away.

She then walked away.
