DISAPPEARING ACT II

Jessie placed a wet towel on Lilith's forehead as she was running a fever.

He didn't know why she wasn't healing herself, or why her family hadn't answered any of his calls, but Lilith was vanishing, and not the teleporting or Hydroporting type, the oblivion type.

He hugged her tightly and begged her not to leave him, but she placed her hand on his cheek as her disappearing was from her heart, spreading to the rest of her body through her bloodstream.

She rubbed his dark cheek softly, then kissed it as a tear fell down her cheek then she said,"I guess we wouldn't always be together, but I'll always be with you."

"No don't say that, you're going to be fine, I'm going to get help...Lilith... Lilith..."He called with tears raining down his cheeks.

She vanished before his very eyes.

"Apollo!"Maame yelled.

He fell onto her arms then she placed him on the flowerbed below him and asked,"What is happening to you?"

"I'm dying, my love."He said.

"No you're not, can't you just imagine it away?"She asked.

He smiled and said,"You're much more powerful than I am and yet you can do nothing, but I will do everything to keep you safe from wherever I end up, I love you, Maame."

She burst into tears on her laps, where he vanished then felt her legs elongating and fusing to form her tail, but she wasn't wet.

She then understood what was happening as the tail began to fade away from the turquoise, see through fin then she smiled, she could follow Apollo.

I sensed Anneliese collapse on the floor then ran to her and saw she was fading away.

She looked into my eyes with tears in her eyes then said,"Please..."

I already knew what she wanted but I had to say,"I'm sorry, it's happening to all the kids."

She burst into tears with the little energy she had left then she said,"I don't want to go, I don't want to leave you."

"He, he..."I chuckled,"... I'll meet you in heaven."

She smiled as I pulled her closer for a kiss, before she was gone.

I burst into tears and didn't care about my own disappearing legs, I just wanted my wife back, my family back.

I just lay on my side to let it happen, then smiled with my last few seconds, at least I was going to spend the eternity with my true love.

The news went round, normal and enlightened monsters, and enlightened humans were disappearing allover the planet for an unknown reason.

I woke up then yelled and looked around the fog filled, white expanse around myself and sensed someone behind me then was about to blast water at them when the person said,"Woah, woah, woah, Felix it's me...put your arms down."

"Anne... Anneliese?"I called.

"In the faded flesh."She said.

I ran to hug and kiss her then I said,"I was so worried, I thought you were gone for good."

"What?!"She yelled,"So you lied?!"

"What are you...aw!"I yelled.

She smacked the back of my head then I asked,"What was that for?"

"You said you'd meet me in heaven, and I was waiting for you not knowing you actually didn't believe it."She said.

"I just wanted to give you some hope."I said, timidly.

"By lying? Then what the heck are you doing in heaven?!"She yelled.

I shrugged, that was a mystery to me on my own, that place didn't even look like heaven, there was nothing, but people and monsters.

It didn't take long for me to find the rest of my family, or at least, most of them.

I could sense literally everything in the small, 11 dimensional hypercube space, but only my enlightened family members were around and it was confusing, why were only enlightened people dying?

"You were never dying my child."Said a voice.

I looked back, alert till Anneliese slowly pushed my arms down.

The voice sounded familiar to me as the echoing voice said excitedly,"Welcome my children, we are finally united."

"Who the h*ll are you and what did you do to us?!"Curtis yelled.

' Wait, he's in heaven too? Hallelujah. ' I wondered.

' Amen brother. ' Anneliese said in my head.

The voice then asked,"Don't you recognize me? I'm the voice that has been whispering to you all."

"Even the monsters?"Apollo asked.

"Of course, they're my children as well."The voice said.

"What the f word is this? I'm related to a porcupine platapus?!"He yelled.

"Yes and no, you see, I'm the one who sent the meteorite to your planet to give you your lights and those of you who were fortunate enough to get one or more, are my children."The voice said.

"Where are we?"A woman I didn't know asked.

"You are nowhere and everywhere... you are in my consciousness."The voice said.

"From humans to figments of your imagination, what kind of freaking upgrade is this?!"A man yelled.

The people went out of order as the voice calmly tried to calm them down, after all efforts didn't work, the voice whispered for them to keep quiet and that time, they did, obvious mind control, and I wasn't a part...this is obviously a lie made to protect my dignity but yeah.

Lilith then asked,"So you separated us from our lived ones just to bring us into this dump where we die when you mistakingly forget us?!"

"Oh do not worry, your loved ones are over you, it has been decades since you vanished and you will soon forget them too, other than that, I never forget, never, and yes, feel free to make this place anyhow you please, it's all for your comfort."

Some people, especially the children, jumped at the chance to create their own worlds, but the rest of us were horrified...

' Decades?! ' Indigo yelled to himself.

He wondered what would have happened to my mom.

I then stood forward to ask,"If you are the loving parent you say you are, why can't we see you?"

"My appearance can be of anyone you wish, I could be an old friend, a lost pet, a spouse, anyone."The voice said.

"No, how do you really look? We want to know."I continued.

The voice was silent for a few seconds before speaking,"I am pure nothingness, I have no form."

"Come on, everything has a form, even that dude over there with no chance at getting a girlfriend both in the real world and in your mind..."

"It's true."The man said, bursting into self pitying tears.

"...so you definitely have one as well."I continued.

The voice was silent again then said,"My identity isn't of importance, all that is, is your comfort so please, do whatever you want."

And with that, the voice was gone.

"Okay, there is something about his face he really doesn't want us to see, but what?"I asked.

"I don't know, but that makes it all the more important for us to find out."Indigo said.

"Then break apart every extraterrestrial bone he may have in that face."Curtis said with fury and determination in his glowing eyes.
