On the deck of the GHT Moonshiner The whole deck was buzzing with activity. Everyone was busy in preparation of the upcoming face off with Empire of Ytias. While internally the Arcorn empire was quite peaceful. It's citizen lived their day to day lives without having to think about much. Just minding their own business and work as usual was enough for their lives to remain peaceful, Many people didn't knew the true price of this peace. The Arcorn empire was busy fighting multiple alien invaders in multiple fronts.

It's military was always busy expanding or guarding it's territory against the relentless onslaught of their enemies. This part of the Arcorn empire was hidden from the regular citizens. Instead they were lead to believe that much of the on going wars were simply acts of defense, While that was partially true, But much of it was propaganda to seize as much territory from the alien empires as possible.

After breaking off from the republic, The Arcorn empire needed resource rich star systems and the only way to obtain was to go outwards, into un-claimed stars and into alien territories. It took the empire many years to build up their fleet of Warships that were capable enough to hold their own against the superior Enemy warships. It didn't matter that the quality of the warships were often less than their enemy counterparts. But that didn't matter. If 1 warships wasn't enough for the job, then 10. If 10 wasn't enough, then 20! The Empire used the fact that humans could reproduce really quickly to expand their fleet really quickly. With sheer numbers, They started beating down the enemies and started to expand into the star systems owned by other alien empires.

The Aliens naturally didn't like seeing the star systems they built up over the decades getting razed to the ground or looted and then seeing human settlements growing on them. So they started retaliating. They hit the humans hard and swift.

The Empire was prepared for such an reaction from the alien empires. So with the cunning ingenuity, they ambushed the alien fleets first. With this, The alien aggression became quite manageable. For over 3 Decades, This Destructive war went on. Countless human lives and alien lives fell in the wars. And an uncountable amount of resources were destroyed in the process.

After conquering many star sectors, The Arcorn Empire decided to slow down and started building. They started to use the resource rich star systems that they had taken from the aliens and used the resources to enrich themselves. As their tech level was still quite lacking when compared to the aliens, they put much of their spoils into research. As a Results the Top researchers of the Empire quickly made brisk progress in many different fields.

Humans didn't fare well in space, The researchers of the empire made sure to get rid of the problems that humans typically faced in space. All this progress made the humans more formidable and their warships more powerful. While the humans were busy building their Technology and warfleets, The aliens didn't stay silent.

The war was still somewhat going on in the border systems where countless warships were being sent every day and they faced the might of the many alien empires. The Arcorn empire always maintained heavy military presence in their border regions which were often the target of the aliens.

GHT Moonshiner was stationed on such a star systems. The crew aboard the Moonshiners were always ready to face of the enemy attackers. But a few weeks ago, they suddenly received an order from the headquarters to launch a surprise attack against a defending garrison of The Empire of Ytias.

The order didn't make much sense. The Empire of Ytias was on the passive for many years. As the humans had beaten them really hard many years back. Since then they went on the defense. They also built up their technology level and quickly build many strongholds along their borders. This made their star systems basically UN-assailable.

Making a sneak attack on them didn't make much sense. But the order came from the higher ups, so the rank and file didn't knew what was exactly going on.

Before the ship transitioned out of Hyperspace, The General announced their agenda to the crew.

Apparently, Before the GHT Moonshiner started it's journey, it received a special package from the ARTEMIS. It was supposedly a weapon that needed some testing done, So the reason of their surprise attack was to test this weapon against the best defenders the Humans knew. The Empire of Ytias.

"We are soon going to transition into the star system known as Ritas VI. It's a stronghold defended by some of the best defending garrisons of the Empire. So we need to make sure that we can get out as soon as we're done with the testing of the weapon."

Soon after the General Addressed the rank and file, The Moonshiner started to vibrate. This was the normal sign that the ship was about to exit the hyperspace.

The ship started to exit hyper space from it's frontal section. Soon the the whole ship came out of the Hyperspace. But something was wrong.

Normally after exiting the Hyperspace the The ship would automatically begin to cruise forward. Specially in a situation where time was of the essence.

The Bay where the weapon was being kept ready for deployment started to vibrate. It started to draw insane amounts of energy from the ship.

"It's drawing too much power.", The technician responsible for the weapon said.

Suddenly the Weapon stopped drawing the power and transmitted a single signal.

As soon as the signal was sent the space in which the Ship was in began to warp. Inside the ship everyone was just frozen into place as they couldn't move, In front of their eyes they saw the deck the humans on the deck all began to warp in all weird ways. Soon the ship disappeared along with it's crew and the secret weapon.

From an outside perspective, The was engulfed in a spatial anomaly as soon as it exited Hyperspace. After getting caught in it, The ship was warped, broken into pieces and then thrown back into Hyperspace as some kind of space garbage. No remains of the ship nor any crew of GHT Moonshiner Was ever found.
