I am looking at Brendan, standing with the test results in his hands. Now the man only says two words. By the look on his face, which the asshole is deciding to remain blank, I don't know what it says. As for Kati, well, she is just clinging onto me and crying. Now that does not tell me much either. This is the news that we all have been waiting for, and these two are letting me hang here on a thread.
So I grab the piece of paper out of Brendan's hand and push Kati away long enough just so that I can also witness for myself what truth has been revealed. And yes, here is sit with a piece of paper in my hand that is supposed to tell me if the boys are mine or not. I knew I said that it does not make a difference to me, but yet it does.
