Boom Boom Motherfuckers (MHA)

Katsuki Bakugo stood still, his gaze empty even after President Mic gave the go signal for the practical examination to begin. His expression remained impassive, revealing no emotion as he focused on some unseen point. Amidst the bustling activity of contenders sprinting towards the test robots, shouting in their quest to gain points, he alone remained unmoving. As the others distanced themselves in pursuit of the robots, Bakugo, with a slow and mechanical movement, raised his hand in front of his eyes. He observed with unwavering attention as small sparks materialized on his palm, resembling the explosions of microscopic bombs. And then...a small smile blossomed on his face. "This...is going to be fun..." The demon's whisper echoed as he finished taking possession of the body.

"This world is quite stifled by quirks, huh?" I thought, flipping through page after page of text. My eyes skimmed over hundreds of words each second, absorbing information far faster than the vast majority could.

I was getting to grips with the local technology, the knowledge far surpassing what the original Bakugo's memories could offer. Most of the significant scientific discoveries and technological advancements seemed to have been made before the dawn of quirks. Afterward, every scientist and their grandmother turned their attention to studying the supernatural.

"Can't really blame them," I muttered, finishing a paper on the electromagnetic hurdles of modern nanotechnology—a paper that was written fifty years ago. Progress in fields like genetic engineering had also stalled. CRISPR didn't mesh well with reality-bending strands of DNA, leading to some truly horrific mutations. It seemed anything that could conflict with quirks had been left behind.

"Bakugo, dinner is ready! Get the hell down here!"

The shrill voice of my "mother" cut through my thoughts. "Coming!" I shouted back, slipping seamlessly into my role. I made my way to the kitchen, my footsteps heavy and purposeful, just as Bakugo's would be. I grunted in greeting to my "mother" and "father," then promptly began shoveling food into my mouth. This body had a voracious appetite, which suited me just fine.

"You're getting more buff every day, son," my "father" remarked, eyeing me with a mixture of pride and concern. I could feel his gaze tracing the newly defined muscles on my arms and shoulders. The original Bakugo had been muscular, sure, but in the past two weeks, I'd pushed this body further. My presence in this vessel brought a ferocity to its training that even the old Bakugo couldn't match.

"Oh, leave him alone," my "mother" chimed in, a playful glint in her eyes. "He's just getting ready to be the next All Might, right?" She grinned, nudging my "father" with her elbow. "Or maybe he's trying to impress someone."

"Ha! Like Bakugo would need to impress anyone," he replied with a chuckle. "He's already the best, aren't you, son?" Their excitement was palpable, their eyes sparkling with some shared secret. They could barely contain their giddiness as they handed me a closed envelope, grinning like loons.

"Go on, open it," my "mother" urged, her voice thick with anticipation. "You're gonna want to see this."

I scowled, my face twisting into the familiar expression they were used to seeing from their son. I snatched the envelope from their grubby hands and stormed off to my room, slamming the door behind me. Their chuckles followed me, but I didn't care.

Inside, I tore the envelope open and found a small, metallic disc inside. I pressed it, and a holographic projection burst to life before me. All Might's imposing figure filled the room, his voice booming with enthusiasm. "Congratulations, young Bakugo! You have passed the entrance exam and are now officially a student of UA High School!"

The projection went on, detailing the rules and expectations, but I wasn't listening. There were better ways to use my time than to gape like a fish at a hologram.

From behind the door, I could hear cheers erupting. My "parents" were celebrating, their voices loud and full of joy. I could practically feel their excitement seeping through the wood, infecting the air around me.

"Bakugo!" my "mother" yelled, pounding on the door with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. "Open up! Come out here and celebrate! This is huge!"

I sighed, resisting the urge to roll my eyes. The idea of tearing the door open and silencing them for good was tempting, but I dismissed it almost as soon as it formed. Too many cons, not enough pros. It was a mantra I repeated to myself daily. As much as their incessant noise was beginning to grate on my nerves, killing them would be more trouble than it was worth.

I took a deep breath, steadying myself. "Next time," I muttered under my breath, my voice low enough that it wouldn't carry. "Next time…"

But there wouldn't be a next time, I reminded myself. I was playing a long game here. I couldn't afford to lose focus now.

'Though, I need to test how a soul reacts after the death the body in this world, hmm'

A.N (You can consider this a quest from now on, choose the option you like most, and the most popular will be chosen. Most things will be done through reasonable dice rolls)

1-No one would miss a homeless. Go into the slums at night and see if souls can be devoured after the body dies. (Low danger of being caught. Possible growth in understanding the laws of the world)

2-Midnight training. Bakugo's quirk still feels a bit out of sync with the new soul inhabiting the body. Fly over the sea and try to fix the problem. (Possible increase in quirk proficiency)

3-Trip down the Memory Lane. The demon has been to many worlds, and even if the soul is damaged, it remembers much. Meditate and soul-search for technology usable and replicable in this world. (Possible cyberpunk blueprints)

.

A.N- the options will be erased when the next chapter is posted, the dice rolls will not be shown so you can still read this like a normal book. You don't have to worry about stupid things happening due to bad dice rolls, things will remain consistent even if those happen.
