The sooner a person understood that, the better they understood life.
Usually, assholes who clamored about how money didn't buy you happiness, were people with excess wealth. Whether money buys you happiness or not is subjective. But you need a certain amount of it to live. And I learned it the hard way.

We entered the guild. It'd been raining outside so my armor and robe were soaked. I didn't feel much from being cold. Actually, I didn't feel cold in the first place.
There weren't many people in here. About five or so adventures. Some chatting, some drinking. Apparently, you could get drinks in four places: Inns, Diners, The guild, and the pub. You weren't allowed to drink on the roads but you were free to drink outside the city if you preferred, though the locals didn't recommend that.
