The moment I finished, Serina backtracked and then rammed her car into me. Sadly, I didn't go flying.
Instead, it was like she slammed into a brick wall. Luckily for her, she didn't have enough speed to screw her over. Still, she was mildly concussed and bleeding a tad from her nose. The airbags did something- probably.
The skeletons dragged her out of there and I threw her a potion. "Please don't do this," she said. "They're people. Like us."
"No, Serina. I'm nothing like them."
I always believed I was special. Even when I knew I wasn't, even I knew, just how fucking average I was… I still wanted to be special. But I was never special.
However, that changed when I woke up in this body. At first, I tread carefully. I tried my best to be humble and all that shit. It didn't work. After all, I really was special now.
"Sean…" She stared at me with those bewildered eyes, as though staring at a stranger.
