Start Off The Practical Exam

"Why did you leave meee?" Toga wrapped her arms around my neck, hugging me once I opened the door to my house.

"I explained in the text I sent you," I pried her off. "I told you that I was brought somewhere else. You know what, I'm not even going to explain it all. Go read the text again."

As Toga kept hugging me, I felt like someone was watching me. I turned around, looking away from the house and out into the neighborhood. A looming aura floated right next to my own house, which was really annoying. I looked over to the right side of my house and saw a girl, staring at me with those dead eyes of her's. Yeah, you guessed it, it was Kiera. Was she stalking me or something?

"You know," I sighed, crossing my arms after kicking Toga inside. "A civilized person would actually approach someone instead of staring at them from a hiding place. I'm just letting you know."

"Oh-" Kiera flinched in surprise, her expression changing slightly. She came out of hiding and put a hand in her chest, bowing with respect. "I apologize. I did not mean to offend you in any sort of way."

"Dude," I deadpanned, staring at her like she was an idiot. "Stop apologizing. It's really annoying. Don't be such a pushover. Why are you even here? Shouldn't you be studying or whatever?"

"I have been ordered to follow you. Please forgive me if any inconvenience I may cause." What inconveniences? Is that what her Quirk does?

"What is your Quirk?" I asked bluntly.

"My Quirk is called Precision. My eyesight grants me the accurate and exact location of someone or something. That is why Onisuka-sama made me a sniper."

Well, that makes sense. Why work hard when you can work smart. Onisuka definitely doesn't seem like the guy who would go in without a plan. And Kiera seems like she's just a yes-man that follows Onisuka around.

I guess I'm going to be followed by this child until the finals happen.

———————————————————————————————————

Everyone was quiet during the written exam. The first day was boring. Everybody was nervous and ruffling their hair nervously. Denki, Kisu and Mina gave off a vibe that was very…let's just say they were focused on the exam and nothing else.

The second day was just…I felt Kiera staring at me from afar. She was probably in a building and using her Quirk to watch me. I swear, if I mess up because of her, I will destroy half of Onisuka's organization.

The last and final day, again Kiera was there, staring at me from the top of a building. Thankfully and luckily, I was able to finish the exam without distractions. If I fail, I'm ending her. It's her fault if I fail, that's the bottom line.

"Yuno-kun!" Kisu came running into the classroom as I shuffled through paper that Onisuka gave me before classes started. "They put up results on the board! Come on, come on!"

She grabbed my arm after I put the papers in my bag and dragged me through the halls. A crowd of students came into view as we got closer. They were all looking up at the wall, looking for their name and trying find where they placed in the finals written exam.

"There he is!" Denki stood in a stance that remained me of a monkey while pointing at me with an angry face. "He was trying to study and sneak away from the excitement!"

"Bring him over! Hurry up!" Eijiro pointed at the scoreboard.

Kisu pushed through the crowd, dragging me right behind her. Once we made it through the right crowd, I stared at the scoreboard. Putting a finger at the very bottom, I started climbing up the board, passing all the names and trying to find my own.

"Oh," I exclaimed bluntly, reaching the final name above everyone else's. "I placed first."

"He says it so bluntly!" The entire class A yelled.

Well, of course I said it so bluntly. It's not a surprise that I got first. My damn Quirk is high intelligence, but they don't know that…right. Hey, my Quirk gives me more brain cells, it doesn't keep me from forgetting things so don't judge me.

"It's not that hard," I sighed. "You just have to study and take school seriously."

"Demo anata wa kashiko sugiru(but you're too smart)!" Kisu whined as she hung her head, a river flowing down from her eyes. "I literally can't keep up. I don't like studying."

"Well, you should get used to it before you fail your academic life."

The crowd stared at me as I walked away. I probably came off as an arrogant asshole in their eyes, but they can think whatever they want. Doesn't change the fact that they might fail their education.

"Why you gotta just shrug it off like that, Yuno-kun?" Toga hugged me from behind as I kept walking back to the classroom.

"Because you need an education." I answered without refusing her hug. "You can just focus on the hero part of it. What happens when you fail becoming a hero and you don't have an education?"

"Then we go to college," Shoto appeared beside me, stating another truthful fact. "College would help with that."

"What if we get too old to attend college?" Denki appeared on my other side, complaining about age of all things.

"You're never too old to attend college. Anata wa orokadesu(you dork)." Kisu pinched Denki on the shoulder playfully.

I'm not gonna get any peace today, am I?

"Now," Aizawa began as we all stood outside in our hero costumes. "We'll begin the practical exam."

Standing either next to him or behind him were the other teachers. Midnight, Present Mic, Snipe, everyone was there. I chose not to peek at the sneak a peek on the physical exam, so I actually don't know what they were going to do. But, given the situation, we might be doing something with the teachers, like fighting them.

"Of course, it's possible to fail this part of the exam." Aizawa continued explaining. "If you want to go to the training camp I mentioned before, then don't make any stupid decisions."

"There's a lot of teachers…"Kyoka mumbled as she twirled her earlobes around.

"I expect that you lot gathered information ahead of time and have some idea of what you will be doing," for some reason, Aizawa looked at me specifically. A look of accusation . I didn't do anything this time, mister Accusation.

"We're fighting warrior robots, like the entrance exam, right?!" Denki threw his arms up, cheering for an easy pass of the exam.

"Curry! Fireworks! Test of Courage!" Mina pumped her fist in the air.

"Too bad," a rather higher pitched voice came into play as a mouse popped out of Aizawa's scarf. "For various reasons, the exam will be different this time!"

"Whoa, Nezu Sensei(teacher/principal)!" Kyoka and Denkiexclaimed in unison.

"From now on, we want to focus on person-to-person combat and hero work," Our principal, Nezu, a rat, climbed down from Aizawa's scarf and plopped his feet on the ground. "And stress teaching is closer to actual fighting. So, we'll have you teams of two to fight against one teacher!"

"Huh?!" The class exclaimed. "Against…the teachers?"

"In addition," Aizawa added. "The pairs and who each pair will be up against have already been decided. First, Shoto-san and Momo-san are one team and they're fighting me. And Izuku-san and Katsuki-san are a team, and their opponent…"

Deep laughter filled the air as a large and muscular came falling out of the sky. To everyone's shock, it was the one and only, very irritating, cocky smiling All Might. Big whoop, cool, let's move on now.

"I will do it!" All Might curled his large finger into a fist. "You two must work together to beat me!"

POV Third Person

A few days ago…

"With the connection between the Hero Killer: Stain and the League of Villains," Nezu began as all the teachers sat at a table together. "There is the possibility that the villains will be reinvigorated. Of course, it would be better to prevent that before it begins, but as a school it would be best to be completely certain."

"If we consider how fights against villains will continue to intensify in today's society, then combat training against robots is not practical. Originally, robots were used to avoid complaints about people being injured in the entrance exams."

"We can just ignore those." Aizawa shrugged off. "Let them say what they want."

"We can't exactly do that, now, can we?" Midnight asked, giving a thoughtful expression.

"We understand why you want to change the exam," Cementos stated. "But having the students fight us in teams of two…"

"If we win too easily, then we won't be able to grade them." Present Mic pointed out.

The teachers had spent a long time on this conversation. Figuring out the students the would pair was not easy. It was even harder to decide who the pairs would fight.

"Of course, we would take that into consideration and give the students a handicap." Snipe suggested.

"What do you think," Aizawa asked, facing the small mouse next to him. "Principal Nezu?"

"Yes," Nezu nodded in agreement. "I also agree to change the practical exam.

"What should we do to keep the students from being in even more danger?"

"The answer is simple. We must have the students themselves become stronger."

"No objections here. That sounds good." All Might nodded with the other teachers.

"Now then," Aizawa held a stack of papers in front of his face. "First, Shoto Todoroki. In general, he's doing well, but overall, he has a tendency to use brute force. And Momo Yaoyorozu is and all-rounder but lacks the ability to make split second decisions and apply them. Therefore, I will erase their Quirks and take advantage of their weaknesses in close combat."

"No objections!" The teacher agreed.

"Next up is Izuku Midoryia and Katsuki Bakugo. I'm leaving them to you, All Might."

All Might flinched in surprise. He didn't think Aizawa, of all people, would trust in him so much. Considering that Aizawa didn't like All Might as much as everyone else, it came as a shock that he would leave his students to him, the Symbol of Peace.

"For these two," Aizawa continued on. "I didn't pair them based on grades or ability. Just on how badly they get along. You like Izuku, right? Instruct them well."

"Moving onto the next team." Nezu nodded.

"Right. Tsuyu Asui and Fumikage Tokoyami. Fumikage is doing well overall. But he lacks the ability of support. That's where Tsu comes in. She had no clear weaknesses and is always there for emotional support. I'm leaving them in the hands of Ectoplasm."

"Tenya Iida and Mashirao Ojiro. Tenya seems to forget the small detail while Mashirao is always nit-picking his combat style. I'll leave them to Power Loader."

"Hanta Sero and Toga Himiko. Hanta is creative with his Quirk, but he doesn't think as far ahead as Toga does. I'll leave them to Cementos."

"Kyoka Jiro and Koji Koda. Koji is quiet and shy while Kyoka is expressive and speaks her mind. She could help Koji find his voice since he needs it for his Quirk. I'm giving them Present Mic."

"Meto Shoji and Toru Hagakure. Toru is loud, obnoxious and positive so her stealth isn't the best of her qualities. Meto's Quirk is meant to see through things like Tori's invisibility. I'll leave them to Snipe."

"Next is Kisuma Aoni and Denki Kaminari. Kisuma is reckless but logical in her own way while Denki rushes straight into battle. I'm giving them to Midnight."

"Yuga Aoyama and Rikido Sato. Yuga is too afraid to enter battle while Rikido is hard-headed. It'd do them some good to put caution and courage together. I'll leave them to Thirteen."

"Mina Ashido and Eijiro Kirishima. Mina isn't open about using her Quirk. She doesn't use her imagination. Eijiro, just like his Quirk, is hard-headed. I'll leave them to Nezu."

"Lastly, Yuno Tsumuyuki and Ochaco Uraraka. Ochaco is rash and doesn't think about the possibilities that could happen in battle. She also doesn't use the enemy's weakness against them. As for Yuno, I haven't seen any flaws in his combat or his education for that matter. He really is a flawless student. And their opponent…"

Aizawa paused for a few seconds. The person he had Yuno and Ochaco going up against, he disliked her more then All Might. She's the No. 2 hero, along with her companion, her husband.

"I'm sorry I'm late." A woman in a black tight suit with broken cuffs on her wrists opened the door and put a hand in her hip.

"I've left Yuno and Ochaco in the hands of Yurei, out No. 2 hero."

God, I’m so tired…this chapter took so much out of me. I sleep now.
